6 Part 5 - War School

I'm just home from school so this chapter might not be as good a quality as the previous but I'll make good on my 600+ words ♥

"For starters, good evening. Emiya" (Rin)

'At least she has manners... oh we're heading inside' (Artoria)

Time skip (5mins)

"Wait. You fought him on your own before you summoned Saber ? (Rin)

That little thinking she can fool me obviously she knew that ... dang tsunderes

"Not really, He just kicked my butt." (Shirou)

"Not even trying to make yourself doing  good ? I see. When it comes to you, what you see really is what you get." (Rin)

I'm gonna punch the absolute living hell out of this B****** thinking she's all high and mighty just because she is a Tohsaka.

'Oh at least their now sitting down, I'm a heroic Spirit but I don't know why or how my legs are sore.... oh yea Shirous half-finished summoning, ah this is Japan so their kneeling I guess I should to.' (Artoria)

Shirou walks off to prepare some tea, he offers me some but I politely decline his offer. Safe to say as I was about to sit down u astralised my armour and was left with just wearing my dress 'Damn I can't wait to get new clothes'. Once he's back we all sit down and start talking.

"All right let's get down to business, You don't have any idea what you're caught up in, do you ? To be blunt, you've been chosen as a master. Have you noticed a brand anywhere on your body ?" (Rin)

"A... brand ?" (Shirou)

'I guess I'll have to help him here' (Artoria)

"She is referring to the Command spells, Master." (Artoria)

As I'm saying this he turns his head towards me and stares a little to long 'I'm starting to get un-comfortable'.

"O-oh these .." (Shirou)

"Yes. Those symbolise your status as a master. They're also spells which bind your servant. So long as you have those, you can control your servant." (Rin)

"What do you mean, as long as I have them ?" (Shirou)

"Command spells are inviolable orders. They force your servants obedience, even if it means bending them to your will. Saber broke off her attack earlier, rember ? However, you only get 3 such orders, so try not to waste them. If you use them all, you'll probably be killed, so I suggest you exercise caution." (Rin)

"I'll... be killed ?" (Shirou)

"That's correct. The Holy grail war is based around Masters defeating other Masters. Whichever Master prevails over the other 6 will win the Holy Grail, which can grant any wish." (Rin)

"Hey, wait a second. What do you mean "Holy Grail"?" (Shirou)

'Master you can be smart but at the moment you aren't being the smartest...' (Artoria)

"To cut a long story short, you've been dragged into a ritual, which goes by the name "Holy Grail", its a battleroyal style war fought by 7 Masters, a mages battle to the death." (Rin)

"To ... to the death ?! What the hell are you talking about ?!" (Shirou)

"I'm just laying the facts out straight, besides it should be clear, even to you. You have been nearly killed by the same servant twice, convinced yet ? I was also chosen as a master. Think of your servant as a familiar, which the Holy Grail granted to you, to help you survive the Holy Grail war." (Rin)

'This is soooo boring, oh he's looking at me again.' (Artoria)

"She doesn't look like a familiar to me." (Shirou)

"Of course not. Technically, servants are familiars, but they're actually superhuman beings, or to be more exact heros from the past." (Rin)

"A Hero from the past ? Saber ?" (Shirou)

"Of course, servants are heros pulled from legends, from different times be they ancient or modern, into out time and given physical form. Its the Masters role to summon them, and a phenomenon of the Grail manifests them afterwards. Basically, a servant is always with you in spirit form. And should you need they can materialise them and make them fight." (Rin)

"So they can go between physical and spiritual form, so that red guy..?" (Shirou)

"That's Archer, for the time being. I'm having him keep watch outside. Do you understand everything so far ?" (Rin)

"I guess...?" (Shirou)

"I just gave a brief overview but it Would be more beneficial to talk to the overseer of the Grail war." (Rin)

"From what Emiys has said, you have been summoned in an incomplete form, Saber" (Rin)

'.... uh oh I have been caught 😳' (Artoria)

"Yes, it's as you say, iam not at full fighting strength. Shirou is not a fully trained master, so even replenishing my Mana will likely be difficult for him." (Artoria)

Rin stands up and goes over to the teapot to pour more tea.

"That's surprising." (Rin)

"Hey, what's she talking about, Tohsaka ?" (Shirou)

'Don't "she" me I have a name granted you don't know it but still.' (Artoria)

"Servants stay here due to Mana which is given by the master, but because you're a novice she can't get Mana from you, so sooner or later it'll become a problem. I have to be honest I didn't expect you to be so forthcoming with me." (Rin)

"You had already realised something was wrong so the was no point in lying. Given that, the best course of action is to get Shirou more versed in the subject." (Artoria)

"You're a woman of outstanding character, too ... Damn it, what a waste ! If I were sabers master, this war would be as good as won !" (Rin)

'Can you please stop running around like a mad man this is not a good look for a Tohsaka. even so Rin would never be my master its already Shirou' (Artoria)

"Hey, are you saying I'm not worthy of her?" (Shirou)

'Dang he needs to mind his words some people may get the wrong idea 😐' (Artoria)

"Of course I'm you hack ! Well then we should get going." (Rin)

"Going ... where ?" (Shirou)

"To see the man I mentioned earlier, the overseer of this was" (Rin)

A/N my thumbs huuurt that was 1000 words, sorry for the late chapter today and I'm especially sorry for that huge info dump and all that talking I guess I could of skipped it but to the 0.1% of people who haven't seen Fate UBW, firstly why are you reading a Fate UBW fanfiction second go watch it !
