I sit down with Jay and Ryan on the couch and we watch Disney+

I look at the time to see it was 4:26, it was almost time to start dinner. I tried everyday to have dinner ready by 5 at the latest 5:30 so Ryan can do her homework and then we can have a bit of family time before she goes to bed at 8:30

I lift Ryan's up and place her down on the couch, she came over and laid over is her body on my lap while her legs were of Jay's lap

I grab the ingredients and start making dinner

I serve Ryan as Jay walks behind me grabbing my waist kissing my bare shoulder, I smile leaning into his embrace a little before grabbing myself a bowl

I pull away and go set the bowls on the table while Jay served himself, I grab three cups and fill them with water and hold all three between my fingers as I make way back to the table where Ryan and Jay were already eating

"You started without me?" I pretend pout as Ryan stops mid bite to giggle and smile at me before continuing to eat

I sit down grabbing my fork and start eating, I smile as we sit there as a family eating dinner

I tell Jay that I was agoing to meet Antonio after dinner and i wouldnt know how long i would be, he nods his head and says he will put Ryan down tonight in case we stayed out pass 8:30, I text Antonio and told him to meet me at the cafe and i will be there aroumd 6-6:30.

Ryan had a routine she liked to stick to which was, dinner around 5 to 6 and homework 6 to 7 and family time until bed at 8:30, she usually wakes up at 6:30 in the morning, and if she wakes up late her whole day is thrown off

I tell Ryan that Jay woud put her too bed tonight amd she smiled and said ok before finishing her dinner and grabbing her homework so we can help her is she needs it

i finish my plate and quickly washing it and than kiss both Ryan and Jay before leaving to meet Antonio at the same Cafe where Jay and I first met for coffee

I walk in and see him sitting at a table with two coffee's one in front of him and another across from him

I walk over and sit down seeing he ordered me an ice coffee

"A pump of vanilla and 3 pumps of caramel with half a pack of sweetener and a splash of oat milk" he says as I take a drink of my favorite iced coffee order

"awe you remembered my order" I smile as my brother remembers my coffee order

"so what did you want to talk about?" I ask raising my eyebrows at him, he sighs looking at me

"Sylvie and I broke up and I don't know how to really process it 100% right now I thought she was it and all but i guess not" he says looking down at his cup

"who broke up with who?" I ask looking at him "does that matter?"

"yes it is!" I say loudly causing people to look at us

"why does it matter who broke up with who?" he asks irritated

"cause i need to know if i should beat her up or you" I say the Dominican side coming out as I say that

"no it doesnt matter and it was a mutual split" I can tell he was lying to me right now but I dont want to cause a scene right now so I will ask Gabi later on tonight, hopefully she has some answers for me

we sit and talk for an hour berfore he leaves to go pick up Eva and Diego from Laura's place, I honestly loved her like an actual sister and thought nothing would happen like this but I was wrong

i look at the time and see it was 8:00 so i still had time to get home before Ryan had to go to bed

i get into my car and recieve a text from Jay asking me to stop by the station to pick up a case file he forgot on his desk, i reply back and make my way to the station to see Adam walking out

"hey Adam" I say causing him to stop in his tracks

"oh hey baby Daswon" he cracks a smile

"ok number 1 never and i mean ever call me that again and 2 can you please do me a quick favor?" i ask, he laughs

"what do you need?" he asks wrapping an arm around me

"Jay left a file on his desk that he really need for this case and I was already passing the station so he asked me to pick it up for him while he gets Ryan ready for bed" I  say

"you're lucky I love you and Jay" he says pointing at me and gesturing to follow him back into the precint

we walk past Trudy and up to Intelligence, I walk over to his desk to see 4 files on top of his desk and I don't know what one to grab so I grab all 4 before following Rusek back down the steps and out of the building

i hug Ruzek bye and start walking back to my car

i pull onto the main road through town and see that the ice cream parlour was still open. I turn into the parking lot and seen they were still open so I rush inside and order Jay and I a small bowl of ice cream and get a tub of a berry mint flavor to take home for us tomorrow for after dinner
