I look around

"Kennedy?" I look up to see Jay and Ryan

"Why does this always happen to me" I laugh looking around at the white hospital room

"I don't know but it has to stop Miss Dawson" I look over to she Sharon I smile

"I will work on that" I smile as she walks in

"Listen I came to talk to you about your fellowship here at Chicago Med and we really need you back if you aren't back in 2 weeks the board is going to give your spot to one of the interns cause we only have enough room for one fellow here" she says

"I am so sorry Kennedy" she adds squeezing my hand before walking out

I take a deep breath in and letting it out

I look over to Jay and Ryan looking at me

"You ok?" Jay asks and I nod trying not to cry at the thought of losing my job, the job I loved so much

"Hey sis" I look over to see Gabi and Matt walk in and I look over at Jay and Ryan

"Listen Kennedy I am so sorry for how I reacted a few weeks ago, I may have overreacted and I am so so sorry" Gabi says standing there and I look down fiddling with my hands

"Please I am sorry Kennedy" she says sitting at the edge of my bed placing a hand gently on my leg

"I kind of get why you reacted the way you did and it's fine" I say not looking up

"Listen we love you Kennedy and this was a huge shocker for us" Matt says standing beside Gabi

We sit and talk for an hour before Gabi and Matt leave cause they have an early shift in the morning so they wanted to get some rest

I look over to see Ryan still fast asleep she fell asleep not long after Gabi and Matt got there

"So I'm guessing she wasn't signed up for school yet?" Jay laughs an I laugh nodding my head

"How are feeling about what Sharon said? Cause you didn't tell Gabi and Matt what was going on" he says as Ryan shifts a little whimpering grabbing Jays shirt

"Hey" he says pulling her closer to his body and rocking her a little she lets go a little pulling Jays shirt closer to her

"Has she talked to anyone after you know what?" Jay asks and I shake my head, I don't want to pry her and I want her to talk to me when she was ready

"Hello?" I look over to see Will

"Hey!" I smile

"How you feeling?" He asks grabbing the iPad that was between his body and elbow

"Good just sore, that's all" I say readjusting myself on the hospital bed

"Well everything is good and you will be able to go home tomorrow we are just going to keep you over night for observation because you did have a seizure on site" Will says

"The driver what happened with him?" I ask

"He had internal bleeding when he came in, Connor and I rushed him to surgery we were able to repair the damage and once he is released he will be hit with a DUI and vehicular man slaughter cause he hit another car in a hit and run before he ran into you" he says

"So he is going to jail?"

He nods his head

"And Ryan?"

"A few cuts and bruise but that is all she is a very lucky little girl"

"She's a Dawson" I laugh causing the two Halsteads too laugh also

After talking to Will for a while he leaves cause he was paged to ED
