The Acu was pecking at the ground while trying to find anything edible to consume, as it raises its head to move a sudden snap and medium sounded steps caught its attention, causing it to turn its attention towards the source.

As it turns its head it could not be registered fast enough to see what was running at it at such veracious speed carrying with it something it has never seen before.

In an attempt to run from the moving danger it felt a slippery sensation at the bottom of its feet, unfortunately, it could not save itself from slipping on its side.

As it quickly struggles to get back up the physics of mud and leg strength we're betraying it as it continues to struggle before suddenly feeling a sharp pain on its side.

When it tries to see what has caused that pain it suddenly was shocked to realize that it is now seeing the world upside down at a falling motion before realizing it has lost all feeling and control of its body except its facial features.

With its last amount of energy and strength it made a face of horror as a creature now stands over it smiling while clenching its long object while being covered in blood.

As it loses consciousness it felt nothing but a cold sensation slowly encroaching within itself.

*Drip Drip Drip*

"I did it, I managed to kill something that looks like a chicken. I just need to somehow cook it."

I look around for anything to start a fire but unfortunately, I was not equipped with a fire starter nor knowledge regarding starting a fire.

With the realization that I could not eat, I just sat on a dead log as my stomach continues to roar and squeal from the unending hunger.

As the Acu slowly gets dissolved into nothingness a cube was then revealed to be left behind where its body was once at.

With not many options I make my way towards the cube and choose yes to open it. Upon doing so I felt a sense of hope arise from it, inside was a can of spam.

I did not question as to why the loot was something made from man rather than the abyss, however, my hunger overpowers that sense of confusion intending to eat this thing raw.

I quickly use my knife as a can opener and cut the sides of the can to get it open, before long I had raw spam taming the beast within me. Now I'm thirsty, luckily, there is a river nearby which explains why the Acu slipped from the mud, had there not been a river I would have had to drink spam juice. The thought of doing so brings a taste of saltiness to my tongue

I closed my other senses to provide full attention to listening, while doing so I can hear water flowing not far from me, following the muddy soil could also help direct me to the source depending on how muddy it gets as I get closer. But I did not want to waste time staring at the round to determine its level of muddiness since that too will just be stressful due to its strain on my neck.

The closer I got the more light I could see lighting up a clearance separating the forest from the river, as I step out I felt a bit refreshed as the air around me was more soothing and welcoming.

I kneel to the banks and dunk my head into the moving currents, instantly I felt a bit relieved as I drink the water while down under, as I started losing air I pull back and gasp the free air before heading back to the sleeping giant.

As I once again stand in front of the unfazed giant, I calm myself to ensure that I make no mistake and I do not panic when everything turns south. I quickly get into a running position and hope for the best that what happens next will be in my favor.

I dash forward with little to no resistance to backing out from the original plan and despite my constant footsteps the creature is unfazed, it might be due to its lack of hearing or because it believes that nothing on the first floor would dare attack it, but that all change as my knife cut through its left kneecap severing the animal front legs.

It awakens to the sight of its front right leg laying in front of it bloody causing it to quickly run from the unknown danger that has awakened it, however, in doing so it fell frontward due to the imbalance in its weight hence causing its movement to become unstable. As it tumbles downward it looks around to see a boy with a knife running at it, but despite knowing that it could not fend the threat off as its body struggles to stand back up and remains tilted on its side struggling while moving its remaining limbs back and forth.

As it starts feeling a sense of chill it desperately tries to scare off the perpetrator by roaring, but it became evident that doing so was fruitless as its eyes become heaving and it succumbs to its injuries.

"That cut was way smoother than I thought, why wasn't there any resistance?"

[The kneecap part of its limbs are not very hard due to its lack of bone reinforcement ]

Suddenly my body felt unstable as if my body does not know how to handle this much amount of energy at once, the overflowing energy was intense enough that I collapse to the ground grabbing my stomach in hopes of minimalizing the instability. After 5 minutes of struggling to get a grip on my body, the energy evens out within me.
