The angered cries of the remaining survivors among the new wave of monsters that the system unleashed could be heard echoing within the stone interior of the hidden tomb.

Some were howls of pain and others were of hate and fury. Regardless from their increasing intensity I knew that the remnants were getting close. 

Still being captivated by the abnormality I had just witnessed, I walked closer and closer to the now bright scarlet and ebony book.

It floated about mysteriously full of an unnatural power that surrounded it with a strange aura.

Only a few seconds were needed for me to get to where it was at and have my hand stretched out ready to grab it.
