Chapter 5: Adventurer's Guild

When I awoke this morning, I enjoyed the feeling if being in in fantasy world.

I am starting to believe I may actually have been isekai'd here.

I went to a local shop after getting breakfast i ordered to my room.

I bought some books about the world, a world map and its economy.

From it I finally figured out that:

Suk (Gold coins) - 10 Sek (Silver coins)

Sek (Silver coins) - 10 Sok (Copper coins)

Sok (Copper coins)

Pretty standard fantasy setup for the currency.

After knowing how much everything was, I used the [Detect Life] spell and found a female outline and a male outline of two figures.

I knew who they were given the location.

I went to the alley they were in, and as expected, it was Ariane and the informant guy.

Ariane: "What do you mean that's all you have?! I have you more than double, and tagts all you give me?!"

Informant: "Hey, not my fault you paid, knowing full well I may or may not be able to get the intel you wanted."

Ariane huffed in annoyance and strode off out if the alley with her hood up covering her ears.

When she was gone, I had followed the informant.

Eventuall, he entered a shaddy looking building, and constantly checked to see if he was being followed.

I waited a few hours by using my [Invisibility], but eventually a guy I recognised as the one that captured some of the Elves from the Anime had arrived.

I overheard seem meaningless conversation between the two, but then I heard the informant guy reveal that he had given false intel to Ariane.

I heard everything I needed to hear and took both of them hostage.

It was effortless to do. All the did was teleport to them and cast [Paralysis]. There was a Mod were you can overcharge any spell and enhance its effects for the consumption of more mana, which is what I had done.

I tied them up and threw them into my Domain.

I entered my Domain and used [Bend Will] shout on them.

"GOL HAH..." (Earth, Mind...)

The third word of [Bend Will] is "DOV" (Dragon), but that was unnecessary.

To use the Thu'um, you must first understand the definition of the Word of Power and what they are defined as individually.

For me, "GOL" which is "Earth" in the [Bend Will] shout means to command the will of animals, creatures and Mother Nature herself and the very Earth obeys your command.

For me, "HAH" which is "Mind" means to dominate the minds of those that are lesser than your own and of those around you. To make them submit to your will, to obey your commands, they are your puppet fir you have taken their Mind from them. Their Mind is yours to control, all you need do is to command them to do so, via using [Bend Will].

The final Word of Power of [Bend Will] is "DOV" which is "Dragon". To command all beings, for Dragons stand at the apex of all life, they are Immortal, they are not to be dominated, but they were created by Akatosh to dominate others. It is in their nature. And for one to be able to command them, via [Bend Will], means that you can dominate ANYTHING to your will.

When one has their own deeper understanding of a Word of Power, they will be able to use the Thu'um with enough practice and meditation on those Words of Power.

I used two Words of [Bend Will] to dominate the Human Minds.

1st word dominates weak animals.

2nd word dominates strong animals and average Humans.

3rd word dominates Dragons (Except Alduin) and Powerful Human Minds and even Daedra.

After I used the Shout on them, they told me everything.

The slavers with the captured eleven would wait for two days for the captain didn't come back before they knew something happened to him.

That was plenty for me.

I left my Domain and went to the Adventure's Guild to sign up for an Adventurer's ID.

There was a large bear in a cage-like barrier, like the ones in victoriana banks, behind the counter.

Oh, my bad, that's a man...not a bear.

Although maybe his father or mother was a bear?

He glared at me with what i must think is Bloodlust or Killing Intent from those Anime's tropes.

Well....this world is an Anime one made real...makes sense for stuff like this to exist.

He was definitely testing me to see if I wasn't some noob who would die upon becoming an Adventurer.

Artorias: "I wnat to join the Adventure's Guild."

I spoke with a deep and expressionless tone to get my point across that I wanst fazed by his aura.

He got the memo as it had stopped.

Receptionist: " If you can bring back any three, be it man or beast or a combination of them, then you will be admitted and Adventure's Identification Card. Simply right?"

I made a sound of acknowledgement and immediately left.

Adventurer 1: "Think he'll die?"

Adventurer 2: "Definitely. He's way to cocky."

Adventurer 3: You two Rookies are idiots. He withstood Scar Guy's Bloodlust. He is definitely am experienced warrior to not be effected in the slightest by him."

Receptionist: "Who the Hell are you calling 'Scar Guy'?! I'll give you one! Then we'll see you insult me then!"

Adventurer 3: "Hey! Get away from! Calm down! I'm sorry!!!"

Discussions like this happened in the Guild Hall as Artorias had left an impression on them. What they didn't know was thatvhe had used a newly created spell in the Illusion school of magic, which was a combination of [Calm] and [Fear].

This new spell was [Intimidation].

And it caused emotions of awe and reverence of respect and fear of himself in the minds and hearts as others.

This would help in many future endeavours as he would establish himself as a living legend...
