9 Chapter 9 : Notting City

30 minutes after explaining to us how to drive the ball Soul Guide, we all went out of the library with two new cultivation techniques and two personal Soul Skills.

I didn't know what the other two chose for Soul Skills, but personally, I chose one movement soul skill and a mid-range attacking one.

In short, at this stage, for me Light Meteor was the perfect Soul Skill. As for the other powerful Soul Skills I saw, they could wait for now.

Ma Hongjun explain to us that to obtain other Soul Skills, you needed to have sufficient Honor Point. A currency used in Shrek to buy almost everything related to cultivation.

With Honor Points you could buy not only Soul Skills, cultivation techniques and knowledge related to Soul Masters but also Soul Bones!

When Ma Hongjun annonce that, I almost couldn't believe my ears for a moment. Soul Bones! That was something that even Titled Douluo coveted regardless of the Soul Bones age! That show how much a Soul Bones was precious.

But in Shrek that kind of thing could be casually traded over for some mere Honor Point!

But the most outrageous thing, wasn't the Soul Bones or Soul Guides, but Heavenly Herbs! From what Ma Hongjun explain to us, if we eat the most compatible herb to us, our Martial Soul had a 100% chance to evolve and improve our talent!

The first time I heard about its properties, I couldn't help but swear. What kind of heavenly defying treasure was that?!

I was certain that no Big powerful groups had that kind of treasures, not even Martial Hall. Otherwise they would have already dominate the world.

From what I know about schools in general is that apart from some classes for Soul Master knowledge, there was nothing else. But here, there was even a teacher specialized in combat for us the weekend!

But I also saw how everything was related to Soul Master so maybe those things will help us somehow in our cultivation.

Honestly, all the things in this school made me want to know more about these secrets. But today was also our only day off and I wanted to enjoy it.

All those months running away and worrying about Davis knowing my whereabouts, made me tired mentally. So today I wanted to relax a little.

Notting City — afternoon

In front of Notting Academy were two men standing in front of a guard.

Recognizing one of the men, the guard didn't make it difficult for them and let them go inside.

"Welcome back Master." He said respectfully, while the latter respond with a simple nod.

After entering inside, the Master Yu Xiaogang, start to explain his situation.

"Liu Erlong should have finished teaching right now, so let's go to see my disciple Flender. There's a great chance that all of them are gathered together."

To that Flender replied with some nostalgia and excitement in his eyes.

"Well then, let's go. I really want to see, Erlong and your disciple. Tang San, I really want to see what kind of person he is..."

Honestly after dying so many times under Tang San's hand, it would be a lie to say that Flender didn't hold some grudge against the latter. Especially when thinking about the latest simulation where his poor descendants died cruelly under his scheme.

But nonetheless, Flender still knew how to differentiate between the simulator and the reality. Which is why he'll try as much as possible to not judge him directly without meeting him.
