"And so little Lie, are you excited? Today you will finally awaken your martial spirit." an elderly man spoke. This elderly man had black hair with gray parts, brown eyes and a slightly gray beard.

Next to the old man was a 6-year-old boy. He had short black hair and black eyes, the boy is of normal height for a 6 year old boy but what really makes him stand out is his level of unearthly beauty, such a level of beauty that would make anyone woman was left speechless. This little boy is called Feng Lie.

"Yes, grandpa. I can't wait to find out what my martial spirit is." Feng Lie responded excitedly.

"I wonder what kind of Spirit martial will I have? It's been a year since I regained my memories and even now I don't know what world I'm in." Feng Lie thought.

Feng Lie saw a lot of Japanese anime and manga, but Chinese or Korean stories... He saw only a few of them.

"Douluo Continent, Spirit Hall, Spiritual Masters, Soul Beasts, and Spirit Rings. Based on all of this information Luxon has gathered for me over the past two months, I must have reincarnated in a cultivation world." Feng Lie thought.

The only cultivation stories Feng Lie has read in his past life are Tales of Demons and Gods, Against the Gods, and Martial Peak.

"This world is definitely a cultivation world, but why is this world so strange?" Feng Lie thought.

Since Feng Lie began to understand this world he was amazed at the martial spirits people in this world have.

Each person has a martial spirit within him, that person will awaken their martial spirit in the awakening ceremony at 6 years of age.

Martial spirits are very varied taking different forms but normally these spirits are divided into three categories which are:

Tool-type martial spirits.

Martial spirits of the beast type.

And the rarest type of martial spirit, the corporal martial spirit.

These are three types of martial spirits.

Feng lie's grandfather who goes by the name of Tian Long has a hoe-like tool spirit. He's just an ordinary farmer with no spiritual power.

The two walked for a few more minutes until they reached the center of the village. When they arrived they saw five other children accompanied by their parents, they were standing waiting in front of a small building reserved for the staff of the spiritual hall.

After a few minutes a young man in his twenties came out of the building.

"Hello everyone, I am Su Yuntao and I was sent here to do the awakening ceremony for the spirits of this village. Children who will have the awakening, follow me." Su Yuntao spoke.

Soon Feng Lie and the other children followed Su Yuntao into the building.

Su Yuntao activated his martial spirit causing his body to change. Su Yuntao's hair, which was originally black in color, turned gray, his eyes changed to a green color, his body swelled up a bit and his hands and fingers became sharp claws. After the transformation Su Yuntao had a fierce appearance, the other children moved a little away from Su Yuntao because they were scared of the transformation, the only child who wasn't scared was Feng Lie.

Feng Lie has watched a lot of film with special effects so Su Yuntao's transformation didn't scare him, in fact Feng Lie was excited to see a real transformation.

"All right, all of you line up in a single line so I can awaken your spirits." Su Yuntao spoke.

The children lined up in a row.

Su Yuntao started the awakening of the spirits.

All other children awakened their martial spirits but none had spiritual power.

Finally it was Feng Lie's turn.

"Boy come over here to wake up your spirit." Su Yuntao spoke.

Feng Lie approached and then the martial spirit awakening ceremony began.

"This energy I feel inside of me is different from magical energy. Could it be that this is the spiritual energy I've heard about?" Feng Lie thought as an unknown energy surged through him.

Soon after, Feng Lie felt something in his right hand. When Feng Lie turned his head to see what it was he saw...

A chain.

A rusty chain was floating in his Feng Lie right hand.

*sigh* "another junk spirit. Boy put your hand in this crystal ball to let us know if you have spiritual energy." Su Yuntao spoke dejectedly.

Feng Lie put his hand on the crystal ball and then the crystal glowed brightly.

"Level 9 Innate Spiritual Power? Boy, if you've dedicated yourself a lot to the path of cultivation, you'll definitely become a high-level spiritual master. Wouldn't you be interested in joining our spiritual hall?" Su Yuntao asked excitedly. After all, Feng Lie's level of innate spiritual power was the highest he aroused in his entire career.

In the innermost region of the Star Dou forest there was a great tremor.

The soul beasts were shocked by this event.

In the lake of life a large silver dragon emerged, the silver dragon's purple eyes were looking in a certain direction.

"Those currents have appeared... Is this reaction a martial spirit awakening? So it must be a descendant of that woman." the silver dragon thought.
