Summary 7

The final Shrek Eight Devils are finally chosen {I should had said this in the chapter before but I forgot about it}, being Tang Wulin, Xiexie, Xu Xiaoyan, Xu Lizhi, Ye Xinglan, Yuanen Yehui, Tang Wuhua and Ya Guangying.

They plus Weilan, Xueqin, Na'er and Skyfrost are chosen to go to the Demon Island to train.

Arriving over the military base and thinking about how to cross the sea, Xueqin argues that the plan of going trying to enter the base directly is not good as they would have already had knowledge of that test and if they would let them pass, Shrek would have already told them. Instead, Xueqin's plan is the similar enter like nothing, but with a little plus.

He uses the power of money, obtaining an airplane thanks to Xiaoran's connections. Then they fly over the military base while announcing that they are part of Shrek, with even the 8 Devils in there to not be directly taken down. With Na'er, Xueqin, Yehui and Guangying ability to fly, they had it easy to pass over their defense trying to catch them and arriving at the Demon Islands.

Xueqin would sense something strange at the Demon Island and he cut over the space with an Asura Slash, arriving at the Life part of the island. There the old demons would receive them and made them suffer with their test.

The ones that are able to pass the robbing of the airplane test are Wulin, Xueqin and Guangying. The other test are similar as in canon but in the test of Lust a figure of a man impossible to recognize appears over Guangying's test, making her extremely angry and forcing everyone test to stop, boosting their mental defense with her spirit making the old demon of Lust useless.

When they finished all the test, the 8th demon appears curious about them and wanting to test them himself. He is considered the strongest over all the old demon and is called the Sadness demon. The other demons try to stop him, making him remember what happened years ago with the Worst Generation, but Sadness ignores them saying that he had warned them, it was that Shrek ignored his warning.

Sadness is able to alter the people memories making them experience a new life for everyone of them. If they had a happy life, he would show them one full of pain, losing everything dear to them. If they had some pain and evil intents over them, he would show them a happy world without it, creating a big impact once the victim recovers his true memories.

More than 70 years ago, the Worst Generation had this test and Shi Mulong had experimented a world without his brother, with everyone thinking of him as the best without comparing with anyone and even having a relation with Zuyin. After the test finished, Mulong was affected by it, and evilness took root in his heart, making it a big step for him to become the Evil Sword God.

Wulin and Xueqin's group experiment the test with different reactions. Xueqin not having anyone, Wulin, Wuhua and Yehui being abandoned... In Na'er case, she experiences a life with Wulin's family, being her true sister and expending the time with Wulin and Wuhua, entering Shrek and meeting Xueqin and both of them falling in love and declaring over the Love Festival at Shrek.

Then the dream is broken and her true memories appear. It is shown her conversation with Gu Yue who said that she won and that she would even let Na'er live like a normal people, never fusing with her, but Gu Yue ordered her to kill Xueqin. The impact of the contrast of memories causing Na'er to break down crying, finally being calmed by Xueqin and Wulin. She finishes with a big doubt, killing Xueqin or killing Gu Yue.

While training with the demons after their tests, a strong eruption of Life and Destruccion occurs. This one is much stronger than canon and threaten to destroy everything. The Old Demons sacrifice themselves to save the new generation, protecting them from the aftermath to not swallowed by it. In the end, Shrek group finds themselves over the last remaining small land over the sea, all the islands having disappeared under the sea without any trace of any Life or Destruction energy, making all seems a dream.

After their training for almost two years, everyone returns to Shrek. In there, they discovered the attack over Heaven Dou City by the Holy Church and Xioaran advices Xueqin and Weilan to be prepared as it won't stop in this.

They also discovere that Mucheng was gone that he left Shrek just as they left for the demon island.

While Xueqin and Weilan are over the Spirit Pagoda talking with Xiaoran, the Holy Church attacks Shrek City.

Over the Shrek Academy, the new leader of the Holy Church appears directing the attack. He had a dark angel spirit and is called the Demon Douluo, Yu Xie.

On the other side, the Spirit Pagoda is attacked by another group commanded by the Evil Sword Douluo, also known as Corruption Douluo, the one that guided Mulong in his dark path.

At Shrek Yun Ming fights against them, but is clearly overpowered until Guang Liang appears. Seeing the situation of Yun Ming defending the Eight Devils and Shrek, Liang used her full strength without any doubt. She reveals 10 spirit rings and her body becomes much younger.

Xinglan quickly recognized her master's new form. She is Shining Light who usually host the Sword Douluo Festival. Guang Liang is a Sword Monarch and her 10th spirit ring let her use the peak of the sword, the Divine Soul Sword. When she uses it, she can recover her peak strength, recovering her youth. There's no limit in using at the Sword Valley, but using it outside, she would lose the ring, losing her Monarch's qualifications, but she doesn't worry about it.

She starts fighting against the Holy Church with Yun Ming.

Seeing the losing battle, the leader of the Holy Church acts, a 10th spirit ring appearing over him. He also uses his own Divine Soul Sword and with the help of the God Killing weapon, he is able to fight against them.

Yun Ming and Guang Lian die and most of Shrek Academy is destroyed, with only the devils at the Golden Tree alive due to Yun Ming's protection. Yu Xie escapes injured and with his 10th spirit ring destroyed but having accomplished his mission of destroying Shrek Academy.

Like canon, the group of students is attacked and Gu Yue appears to save Wulin, but having not joined with Na'er, she is not strong enough to withstand the attack, but dark energy appears from nowhere, lowering the firepower and making it possible to be stopped.

Over the Spirit Pagoda, Xiaoran and the Evil Sword Douluo fights. Xiaoran unleashes her full power, showing her own Myriad Colored Spirit that it had the form of a beautiful woman that resembles Ning Rongrong and is able to use her abilities. Once the Myriad Colored Material reaches 100.000 years old, it acquires true wisdom and a human form.

The full power of her mecha is its double core, driving her and with the spirit soul at the same time, boosting the engine with two Nine Treasured Pagodas.

The Evil Sword Douluo finds himself overpowered, but he doesn't want to use his own Divine Soul Sword, not wanting to lose his qualifications, so in a dirty move, he directly attacks the Spirit Pagoda where Xueqin and Weilan are with his strongest attack (Except the Divine Soul Sword).

Xiaoran could have taken advantage of the opening and kill the Evil Sword Douluo, but she decides to protect Xueqin and Weilan instead, stopping the attack. However, her decision let enough time for the Evil Sword Douluo to activate a God Killer weapon, exploding over all the Spirit Pagoda.

Xiaoran acts, overloading his mecha that acquires a gray color with a shred of Chaos forming over it. She explodes over the God Killer killing herself and canceling most of its power and greatly injuring the Evil Sword Douluo who escapes.

Even if weakened, the explosion reaches the Spirit Pagoda, destroying it. Xueqin with Weilan's help tries to protect against it, but it's too strong.

Just as it was about to reach them, something similar to an engine surge from Xueqin and fuses with Weilan's pagoda. The engine creates a void space around them, devoid of any element that protects them from the explosion.

That engine was a shield generator that was given by Ning Maya to her brother. Making use of the pagodas properties of support and absorption, it is able to boost them an create a void, being capable of protecting from most of the attacks. However, the soul consumption is to high and Weilan is unable to keep it, falling into a coma.

Finding himself surrounded by the debris of what is was the Spirit Pagoda, Xueqin takes Weilan and escapes from the place, warry of future attacks. He uses his eyes at full power, discovering Yehui, Xinglan and Skyfrost sword energies and regroups with them, hiding until the things calms and prepare for the new future.
