Frustrated Yu Xiaogang

Yu Xiaogang had been feeling very frustrated lately.

Normally disciplined, he had now developed a habit of oversleeping. Every morning, he always felt like he hadn't slept enough.

But that wasn't all. He noticed that his chest was getting bigger and more sensitive. He felt tired even after standing for a short time, and would occasionally feel nauseous or vomit. He became more sensitive to smells. Besides that, he experienced bloating, frequent urination, and an increased appetite, never feeling full. His entire body felt weird.

Morning came, and the sun bathed the earth in warmth, bringing a sense of vitality. Everything came to life in the bright sunshine, and a new day began.

At Shrek Academy.

The Shrek Seven Monsters had already gathered early on the training grounds, waiting for the day's lessons.

Ning Rongrong furrowed her delicate eyebrows and glanced at Zhu Zhuqing, asking softly, "Zhuqing, what's wrong with the master these past few days? Ever since we lost the team battle to the Emperor Team, he's been downcast."

Zhu Zhuqing shook her head. "I don't know."

Zhu Zhuqing didn't really care about Yu Xiaogang. To her, he was just a regular teacher at a soul master academy. Ever since her clan had left Soto City a few days ago, Zhu Zhuqing had been training even harder, unwilling to waste a single moment. Most of her days were spent in practice, and the small grove where she used to meet with her clan now became her exclusive training spot. She went there to train after classes every day.

Ning Rongrong turned to look at Tang San. "Tang San, why hasn't your teacher arrived yet?"

Tang San looked a bit haggard, his face pale, with dark circles under his eyes and bloodshot eyes. Clearly, he wasn't feeling well either. The recent defeat had hit him hard, like a thunderbolt. Even with the comfort of Yu Xiaogang and Meng Yiran, he hadn't recovered from his low spirits and had even missed classes for a few days.

Tang San replied indifferently, "Maybe the teacher has something to do."

"Uh…" Ning Rongrong was speechless. Upon closer inspection, she realized that in just a few days, Tang San had become so rundown. He hadn't even cleaned the eye crust from his eyes, likely rushing over without washing his face.

"Is this still the confident, energetic Tang San who had just become a Soul Master and defeated Dai Mubai?" Ning Rongrong wondered to herself.

Among the Shrek Seven Monsters, Dai Mubai had also changed a lot besides Tang San. Ever since his pride was wounded, he had taken the pain to heart, throwing away his colorful clothes, bottles, jars of cosmetics, and perfumes.

He once again donned the white robe that radiated masculine energy.

"Hey, Boss Dai, what do you think is wrong with the master lately? I've noticed that he's eating even more than I, the Fatty, do," Ma Hongjun asked, looking at Dai Mubai.

Dai Mubai glared at Ma Hongjun, thinking, is this how you talk about someone you admire right in front of them? Clearing his throat, Dai Mubai replied seriously, "How would I know? Maybe the master just has a good appetite lately."

Oscar also chimed in, "Fatty, now that you mention it, I almost forgot. The master has been stewing pig's feet every night and even asks me to bring him sausages every day."

Dai Mubai, Ma Hongjun, and Oscar's voices were loud enough to attract everyone's attention.

Ning Rongrong's eyes sparkled with a strange light. "Now that you mention it, I remember seeing the master vomiting behind a wall yesterday!"

After Ning Rongrong said that, everyone exchanged confused glances. It all seemed like the symptoms of a pregnant woman!

As everyone discussed this, a rough cough suddenly sounded.

"Cough, cough—"

They all turned toward the sound and were momentarily dumbfounded.

Though the weather had just started to cool, it was not winter yet, but Yu Xiaogang was already dressed in heavy cotton clothes, wrapped up tightly.

Yu Xiaogang said, "Line up, everyone."

A moment later, Yu Xiaogang stood in the middle of the field, hands behind his back, looking at the assembled students. "Cough, cough. I've been feeling a bit unwell these past few days, so I'm a little late. I apologize."

Tang San frowned slightly, looking at Yu Xiaogang with concern. "Teacher, if you're feeling unwell, you should rest. I'll speak to Dean Flender and he can assign the lessons to me."

"This—" Yu Xiaogang hesitated. After standing for a while, he did feel tired.

Tang San insisted, "Teacher, your health is important."

Glancing around at the others, Tang San saw that Ning Rongrong and the others had also noticed that Yu Xiaogang didn't look well, and they all chimed in.

"Yes! Master, your health comes first. We can manage our own training."

"Master, please go back and rest! Don't catch a cold."

"Master, I just made two sausages—here, take them," Oscar said, handing him two sausages.

Yu Xiaogang sighed helplessly. "Alright then. Tang San, come to my room after class today."

Hearing this, Tang San's face darkened a little. The last time he had mentioned switching to the Clear Sky Hammer, Yu Xiaogang had sternly refused, and now he would probably try to talk him out of it again.

One one hand things were not going well for Yu Xiaogang and Tang San.

On the other hand, after several days of travel, the Emperor Team finally returned to Heaven Dou Royal Academy, four months after they had left.

Looking at the large gate marked with "Heaven Dou Royal Academy," Xiao Wu stretched and jumped off Zong's back.

"Ah! I'm exhausted. Finally back. I'm going straight to sleep," she said. It was no surprise that Xiao Wu had been carried on Zong's back again. This was part of an unfair agreement she made with him after a previous incident at the Soto City Soul Arena, where she was scolded by Qin Ming for beating up Tang San.

Zong rolled his eyes at Xiao Wu. "It feels like, aside from riding in the carriage, I carried you almost the entire way!"

"Hmph! I don't care. I suffered because of you, and you promised me this. Also, tomorrow, you have to take me to Heaven Dou City for the whole day!" Xiao Wu pouted in dissatisfaction.

Hearing Xiao Wu mention her grievances, Qin Ming walked over and asked, "Grievances? What happened, Zong? Did you bully Xiao Wu?"

"Uh…" Zong was at a loss for words. Should he admit that he had ordered Xiao Wu to beat up Tang San until he was half-paralyzed?

Quickly covering Xiao Wu's mouth, Zong responded, "Teacher Qin, no, no, it's nothing. Xiao Wu just wants me to take her shopping in Heaven Dou City tomorrow. I was just thinking, how can we go? We still have classes."

Qin Ming smiled knowingly, giving Zong a look that said, "I understand."

"That's no problem. After all your hard work in the Spirit Arena over the past four months, and since you've earned the Golden Soul Badge, I was planning to give you three days off. Feel free to go and enjoy yourself. Make sure to take good care of Xiao Wu."

Zong was stunned. It felt like he had dug his own grave! The memory of their last shopping trip still haunted him—it had nearly been the death of him.
