Ch. 15: First Spirit Ring, Purple Spirit Wolf

The Cultivation techniques were divided in 5 grades in my last world. 

Human grade which only has 2 stages of development.

Mortal grade which has total of 4 stages of development.

Earth grade having 9 stages of development and Heaven grade having total of 12 stages.

But Immortal grade techniques unlike others is not divided in different stages of development.

Each immortal grade is a technique is unique in itself.

It can be divided into stages or be of only one stage of development.

Just like my Divine Demon's Chaos Genisis art, it's main focus is to devour other techniques.

More precisely, whenever I cultivate another technique along with it and complete it to the last stage, the principle of the technique gets absorbed in it.

So that when I practice Divine Demon's Chaos Genisis art, next time I will automatically get the all effects of the technique I have practiced along with it ignoring the negative effect.

But for that you have to really complete it to the last stage, if not it won't merge.

It's like if I cultivated a fire Qi technique then my innate soul power will have properties of Fire Qi as well, in turn my body being tempered by fire Qi continuously over time.

Though it could have been a major setback, but I have ton of techniques from Cheon Ma as well as from Nine Dark Heaven Court.

It's not hard to get some faulty high-level techniques with fast completion speed with great effect on attribute energy but extremely instable foundation.

Afterall with the Divine Demon's Chaos Genisis art making my base Dantian, my foundation is strong enough to not be affected by these measly changes.

Today, she is on her way to Star Dou Forest to get first Spirit Ring for her 3rd Disciple.

Not only other two of her disciples are following along, but there is also Yue Quan and Gui Mei standing guard ready to take action whenever necessary.

Inside the carriage, Bibi Dong and Hu Liena can seen sitting side-by-side beside whom are the duo of redheads with Fu Yue hugging Fu Xuan while making him sit on her lap.

Fu Yue had an all-smile face with timely rubbing her face on Fu Xuan's with a bright expression on her face with seemingly illuminates the whole carriage.

While Fu Xuan was making an expressionless face not resisting at all. He seems to have accepted his fate not at all daring to change anything.

For a second, he seemed to look at her without changing his expression.

Of course, she has previously tested his Spiritual strength to be strong enough, to be greater than that of Spiritual connection realm.

Seeing which gave Fu Yue a shudder making her recall her early learning session with her teacher.

Teachers can be scary when it comes to topic of learning.

"Ok I will memorize it." Fu Xuan answered unaware of their state of mind.

More than 4 hours later.

We have found quite many spirit beasts, but I have yet to see, I suitable one for Fu Xuan.

But I won't give up! I will choose the one very best for my cute little brother.

As much of a regret it is, I know it is hard for me to find one, as I am not specialized in sensory techniques and all.

But that's one more of a reason not to give up!

This is a challenge for me, and I will overcome it!

And I will show little Xuan how much of a reliable older sister I am.

Just when I was in the middle of strengthening my resolve, I hear Fu Xuan say something.

"I think I found it."

'What, even before than me.'

"Are you sure, I don't sense anything." Said teacher not sensing anything herself as well.

"Yes, it's a Five-thousand-year-old Purple Spirit Wolf, about 2 kilometers and 567 meters away in the northwest direction."

Hmm, that's quite a precise response.

Let's see if it is really there.

"Teacher, let's go and have a look after all we don't see anything here might as well, waste some time here." I said to Bibi Dong.

Now we are the exact place I had said.

There are a few times I get to use Kaguya's Mind's eye so when I thought that it will be hard the normal ways, I chose the easy route.

With my passive range being 50 meters and active being 10 km, it wasn't hard to find a suitable spirit beast. 

As I looked at the spirit beast in front of me, I can't help but notice its uniqueness for a bit.

It looked like a wolf, but it was a little smaller than normal wolves. Aside from its brilliant dark purple fur, its appearance was rather wretched.

It had a slightly collapsed nose bridge and tiny narrowed eyes, as well as incredibly short legs that didn't seem capable of carrying its own weight.

Seeing its natural sorry state, I had just one thought in my mind.

'No wonder it has low numbers. With such a body…'

Somehow, I started to feel pity for it.

But then, I once again got the same system quest notification.

As I was feeling sorry for the pitiful creature's life, I heard a voice say something.

"Are you sure you can handle a 5-thousand-year-old spirit ring? It's even one with spiritual type." Said Bibi Dong.

A 5-thousand-year-old spirit ring.

It might have raised some concerns normally, but for me who has reached middle stage of spirit sea realm, I can even handle 10,000-year-old spirit ring.

But I don't think it is necessarily a good idea. After all I can always get a new one and my spirit ring abilities are predetermined.

"I can do it."

"Let's try anyway, I will intervene if I feel something wrong."

"Thank you, teacher."

Good that she, in this universe is chill.

Otherwise, I couldn't think what kind of the kind of restrictions and surveillance would have been imposed on me even as her disciple.

Anyway, now it's time to deal with this pitiful creature and grant it freedom.

And so, I summoned by Karma Seal Martial Spirit, and with a pulsating glow of red and purple, ancient runic symbols started appearing on my right arm starting from my palm up until left chest.

All the letters exhibiting various swirls and halos of soul power creating a beautiful visual image.

I walked forward wanting to test fighting the Spirit Beast, but no one stopped me. Well, we have talked about this before, also they all know this much is not enough to make me lose.

I walked in front of the sick dog like creature and said, "Show me what you can do."

I started sprinting towards it, with my martial spirit's physical power boost, my all attributes being further enhanced 10 times.

It tried to do the strongest spiritual shock type attack, feeling threated but I just shrugged it off.

But before it could initiate it, I appeared before the purple spirit wolf with wisp of soul power concentrated in my right hand.

With a wave of my hand in a claw like motion I directly broke its skull making its life come to an end.

'It is really weak physically, thought the mental attack was descent sadly it never got to use it.'

The fight itself ended in just a couple of seconds, giving rise to a purple spirit ring above the purple spirit wolf's corpse.
