Chapter 22 - Deal?

Tang San and others fought Zhao Wuji for their final test, the fight went as expected, Zhu Zhuqing was sent flying, but instead of Mubai catching her, Xingyun used his fast speed to catch her first, which made Mubai smile bitterly, even if Xingyun didn't want to ruin the relationship between the two he had to, because he needed to get strong fast and his spirit harmonization with Zhuqing is one of the ways to achieve this, 'I'm sorry Dai Mubai, I owe you for this, if one day you needed my help I'll gladly help you, whatever it is'.

When Bao'er saw this scene, she was a bit shocked that her brother, who didn't have any clue on relationships about opposite genders at all, dares to do what he did.

Just a few seconds after Zhuqing was sent flying, Xiao Wu also fainted, then Tang San finally fought Zhao Wuji one-on-one using his hidden weapons, Xingyun who was currently tending on Zhuqing was amazed by what he saw, reading about it and seeing it in real life is just two different concepts. Tang San's hidden weapon mastery is just miles away when compared to Xingyun's, but he is still confident that he could dodge all of it.

Finally, Tang San smashed Zhao Wuji with his hammer and Zhao Wuji lost, when Xingyun saw Zhao Wuji's state, he couldn't help but laugh out loud, "Old man, I thought your defense is unbreakable? A hammer smash can actually break your hard skull?", Xingyun's laughter almost made Dai Mubai also laugh, but he didn't dare to because if he laughed, he will be beaten by Zhao Wuji, Zhao Wuji glared at Xingyun, but before he could say anything to Xingyun, Bao'er already backslapped him, this finally stopped Xingyun's laughter, but he still couldn't stop chuckles from coming out of his mouth.

Oscar came over after Mubai called him, Zhao Wuji immediately asked for his sausages and when everyone heard his incantations, they didn't know whether to laugh or cry, Xingyun also tried his best to not laugh, he didn't want his friend to be depressed.

Mubai who wanted to go to Zhuqing's side, can't do it because Xingyun is guarding her, seeing Zhuqing still blushing a bit from when Xingyun carried her, just made him a bit discouraged.

Xingyun didn't dare offer Zhuqing the sausages, because even he still didn't dare try it, no matter how good it's effects is, the incantations just makes you really repulsed by it.

Tang San then fell unconscious after removing all his needles from Zhao Wuji's body, Zhao Wuji left after all that while entrusting all the unconscious children to them. Bao'er immediately moved and picked up Zhuqing and Xiao Wu, before the other guys even have time to argue on who will carry who.

"I don't trust you guys, c'mon Rongrong I'll take you guys to our dorms", Bao'er glared at the boys, which made them smile bitterly before taking Ning Rongrong with her to the girl's dorms.

The guys who was left alone just sighed, "I'll carry this guy, I'll be his roommate", Xingyun said while carrying Tang San, before walking along with Oscar and Mubai to their dorms.

When Tang San awoke from his sleep, outside the sky was already gradually darkening, somewhat drowsily opening his eyes, he discovered he was lying in a wooden house. He looked around and he saw another bed beside his bed and on it is a red haired guy with cat ears and 2 cat tails playing with a red cat with the same features as him, he was baffled by this sight, he knew from his master that some spirit masters will have a mutation when they awaken, but this is the first time he saw one who had a mutation.

"Oh, you're finally awake, you're in our dorm, if you didn't recognize me, I am Xingyun and this one here is Blacky", Xingyun initiated the conversation and once again introduced himself and his cat Blacky.

"Xiao Wu? How is she?", was Tang San's first question.

"Don't worry about her, she is brought by my sister to their own dorms", when Tang San heard this, he is finally relieved.

"Since we'll be living together from now own, I ought to introduce myself properly, I am Mao Xingyun, 35 ranked mutated beast spirit master, Spirit Cat Body, you can just call me Xingyun", Xingyun said before reaching out once again for a handshake

"Tang San, 29 ranked tool spirit master, Blue Silver Grass, just call me little San", Tang San accepted the handshake.

"Man, I really didn't think that I'll meet someone from Tang clan like you", Xingyun suddenly said, which made Tang San stiffen up, "You don't have to hide it, even if the others thought of the hammer you summoned before as just a weapon, I knew it wasn't, that's Clear Sky Hammer right?".

"I-I don't really know, I've never heard anything from my father that we belong to any clan before", Tang San responded.

"*sigh* whatever, you find out yourself whether you're really part of it or not, I'm not the kind of guy who forces anything to anyone, just wanna remind you that my Mao clan and Tang clan have the same enemy, the spirit hall, so if you ever made up your mind and accept your roots, remember that you can trust me", Xingyun solemnly said then paused, "By the way, you are not the only one with complicated identity, your sister also have a complicated identity and once anyone, I mean ANYONE find out about it she will be hunted and killed, regardless of the price", Xingyun added.

When Tang San heard what he said, he was shocked, 'Is Xiao Wu hiding something big from me?', is what he thought, then he looked seriously at Xingyun, "If what you said is true, then why are you not killing her?", he asked solemnly.

"Because I have no interest whatsoever in the benefit she might give me, plus if my speculations is true and she is really what I think she is, then we have the same enemy and having her alive and fight alongside me is better than having her die in the enemy's hands and strengthen them more", what Xingyun said confused Tang San even more, he never imagined that Xiao Wu's identity is really what Xingyun said it is.

"By the way, I want to have a deal with you", Xingyun said seriously.
