Scenario 42: To Take or Not to Take

The sun is rising and shining through the land.

inside a room, Lin Tian finally wakes up from absorbing the Spirit Bones. his spirit level also increased by one level after absorbing the Spirit Bone reaching level 33 now.

after done with the absorption Lin Tian was able to understand the skills he gained from the bones.

'Increase 10% speed passively and able to increase another 25% speed when activated. decrease soul power consumption for using third spirit ring.'

this is a big boon for Lin Tian, the passive increase is already impressive since most Spirit Bones only give one active or passive effect but this Spirit bone actually gives 3 in total.

sometimes Lin Tian really hope that his Martial Spirit is capable to create an attacking skill since his Absorbed Spirit Rings always have multiple skills or effect depending on how it is used. Imagine if he has attacking skills with extra passive such as increased damage or extra AOE or debuff when hitting the enemy.

but sadly it is just a dream.

shaking this thought out of his head Lin Tian start to take a bath and breakfast. today he will have to decide what to do with the wounded Zhuqing.

everything was going smoothly until she completes the spirit ring absorption, and when their guard was at the lowest after completing their main purpose suddenly one of the guards betray her and stab her in the back.

the rest of what happened is Zhuqing trying to survive and escape the forest only to end up meeting Lin Tian's group who was leaving the forest.

"Well I understand, now what will you do from now on? with my medicine your wound should be to move normally after another 1 or 2 days of rest."

"I- I'm not really sure, but whatever it is I'm not planning to go back, I already didn't have a place to return. All I know is that I have to become stronger in order to survive." she said while her hand gripping hard.

"In this case, I'll give you an offer miss Zhu."

hearing this she started to pay attention.

"I'll help you to become stronger, I will train you personally and give you resources that you will need to become stronger. but in exchange, you will have to become one of my people and never betray me."

"Why would I need your help to train me personally to become stronger?"

The reason she would feel so is because Lin Tian Spiritual power that has gone far beyond the normal level and his pressure is created by mixing Spiritual and Spirit Power, while other Spirit master only uses their Spirit power to create pressure.

after a while, Lin Tian lifts the pressure he emitted, and Zhuqing starts gasping hard with lots of sweat on her head.

"So what's your decision? I will not force you to join me, for your information if you decide to join me I expected you to never betray me but in exchange, I will help you in any way I can."

after calming herself Zhuqing asked, "Sir Lin Tian how old are you? and what is your Spirit Level if it's alright for me to ask."

"I'm currently 10 years old and my current Spirit Level is 33."

Hearing this Zhuqing was shocked he is actually the same age as her but 10 levels higher in Spirit levels compared to her. she herself can be considered as a genius but compared to Lin Tian she is nothing at all.

Without hesitation, she directly accepts his offer "Please take care of me from now on."

Hearing this Lin Tian's face become a bit strange and shook his head because such wording can be used by a married couple on earth.

"Alright, we will be staying here until you're fully recovered. after that, I will start training you while we're on our journey."

and So Zhu Zhuqing joins Lin Tian group.
