It's about to go down..

The next day, everyone once again gathered at the the arena. Every other academies were also present, even those who don't have a match today. Battle continue to happen as academies faced each other before..

"This is the most awaited match of day, Shrek vs Thunderclap Academy! The first contestant to arrive from Shrek is Huang Yuan while Thunderclap academy sent Lu Chen."

The announcer shouted.

Both of the participants arrived in the middle of the battle arena as the announcer described them briefly.

"Huang Yuan from Shrek is a 36th-level Spirit Elder, martial spirit Ferocious Wolf and is good in both offence and defense while Lu Chen from the Thunderclap academy is also a 37th-level Spirit Elder with Dual Thunder Dagger as martial spirit with very high attacking power."

"Let the battle begin!"

Huang Yuan immediately took a defensive stance as he remembered what Grandmaster told him to. He was told to do only a single thing, endure, as long as he can.

And as can be seen from the previous matches of the Thunderclap academy, the spirit master called Lu Chen didn't wait for a moment and started attacking.

Huang Yuan dodged all the attacks he can while blocking some. At first it was quite easy, as he was better than his opponent in skill, but the superior attacking strength made it harder for him to deflect or block him, the later the battle progressed.

Lu Chen continuosly threw lightning from his daggers, even sending his daggers flying at Huang Yuan, who somehow was barely able to evade it. But still there were few attacks that managed to hit him, leaving some slashes and bruises on him.

"Haah? Are you even a man? Why do you keep dodging, face me like a real man!" Lu Chen mocked but Huang Yuan didn't reply to him only narrowing his eyes in response.

He still had more than eighty percent of his spirit energy remaining and going by all the wild attacks that his opponents keep throwing at him he should've less than thirty percent.

Seeing his provocation and attacks not doing any substantial damage, Lu Chen raised both of his hands holding the daggers before suddenly using his third spirit ring, a purple ring instantly rose up from his feet before merging into the daggers. Some thunder clouds appeared in the sky as lightning flickered in between them.

A sudden lightning bolt from the sky struck at Lu Chen's daggers as it absorbed all of it before he pointed it toward Huang Yuan whose face immediately became pale seeing this. A thick bolt of lightning was then released at Huang Yuan at extreme speed. There was no way he would be able to dodge it.

Huang Yuan immediately used his defensive spirit ring ability while pouring in an excessive amount of spirit energy. He remembered once Tang Ming told them that they can overcharge their spirit ring skill with pouring in more spirit energy then required making them substantially stronger.

His Ferocious Wolf roared loudly before a dark brown colour energy membrane appeared in front of him, blocking the lightning bolt just at the right moment.

Lu Chen seeing this smirked and looked as if he already won the match as he knew how strong the attack was. No one at the same realm can block it, much less someone with less cultivation than him.

The others from the Shrek at the spectators area were also worried. That lightning bolt was really dangerous for anyone at Spirit Elder stage. The fire power of these Thunderclap academy truly was quite strong at the same level.

Tai Long and Jing Ling gritted their teeth in anger as the three of them knew each other for a long time, long before getting to know Shrek Seven Devils so they shared quite a close friendship.

As the lightning bolt hit Huang Yuan, he was sent skidding backwards while crossing both of his hands in front of him, keeping the brown coloured light shield active. He was injured really badly with burn marks all over his body, as some lightning did manage to penetrate his shield, it was by sheer will that he hold on and didn't lose consciousness. Soon the lightning attack finished.

He stood up with quite difficulty as the spirit master of Thunderclap academy, Lu Chen, looked gobsmacked.

Seeing this Huang Yuan finally smirked as he gathered all of the remaining spirit energy which was less than thirty percent in his body as he used his third spirit ring ability, arriving in front of Lu Chen instantly.

"Third Spirit Ring, Ferocious Wolf Five Claws!"

The latter wasn't able to react to it because of the shock but even if he was able to, he can't do anything. He had already spent all of his spirit energy in that last attack and hadn't any left to defend. He barely managed to cross his arm in from of his body before sent flying.

Huang Yuan who had took the lightning bolt was very furious at this moment, giving a lifetime beating to Lu Chen, pounding him with punches and kick all over and only stopping when the latter became unconscious, sending him flying out of the arena with a flying kick to the Lu Chen's face.

"What an amazing comeback from Huang Yuan, the first round Shrek Academy wins!"

The announcer shouted as the members of Thunderclap academy looked angry, especially their teacher who banged the arena's border with his fist. They hurriedly pulled Lu Chen unconscious body while sending glares toward the Shrek Academy team who at this moment was shouting in happiness, cheering for Huang Yuan.

Soon the next round also started as the Thunderclap academy sent a spirit master called Xiao Yun Ju, another 36th-level Spirit Elder, his martial spirit beeing a chain of bronze beads. He immediately released his martial spirit and spirit rings, getting in a fighting stance

Huang Yuan who was already pretty exhausted still forced himself to take a defensive stance as he too released his Ferocious Wolf, taking a defensive stance. Hebhas less than ten percent of his spirit energy remaining.

"Let the battle begin!"

Before the announcer voice even died down, Xiao Jun Yu, immediately used his third spirit ring, as a purple ring floated up from his feet, merging in the bronze beads as it immediately extended toward Huang Yuan.

Huang Yuan hurriedly dodged but it looked like as if the beads had minds of their own, as they constantly followed him everywhere.

As Huang Yuan was already spent, a moment of slip made him instantly bound up by the bronze beads.

"Seal!" Xiao Jun Yu shouted while glancing viciously at Huang Yuan, once again black clouds gathered over the arena before being a lightning struck from above right at Huang Yuan, who wasn't even able to even defend himself.

"Huang Yuan!!"

The others from Shrek Academy shouted in concern as his figure was bathed in lightning before falling down in the arena, unconscious. Liu Erlong looked at this in anger as she was ready to go in, but was stopped by Tang Ming as he blocked her with his hands.

"Don't. We're as angry as you are. Even though I have known Huang Yuan for far less than the Shrek Seven Devils, i still consider him a good friend. We'll take our revenge."

Tang Ming said while everyone else also agreed more so for Tai Long and Jing Ling, who looked ready to rip apart Xiao Jun Yu.

"The second round, Thunderclap academy wins!"

Tai Long and Jing Ling immediately dashed toward the battle stage before picking Huang Yuan and bringing him back. Huang Yuan was injured very badly and was covered in bruises and burns from the high voltage lightning.

Tai Long hurriedly pulled out one of the vial of the healing medicine before opening Huang Yuan's mouth and giving him one drop.

The injuries started to heal immediately, as the bruises and burns started to disappear at speed visible to naked eye and in the next moment Huang Yuan was fully healed.

But he remained unconscious as he has used all of his spirit energy, exhausting himself in the process. But it was nothing too serious, he would regain his consciousness back after some resting.

Next up to battle from Shrek was Jing Ling, a 36th-level Spirit Elder of Ability attack branch, with Skeleton as his martial spirit.

Grandmaster had suggested him to dodge all of his attack as much as much as possible while conserving as much of his spirit energy as possible, only attacking when the opponent exhausted all of his.

Jing Ling had a relatively easier time facing Xiao Jun Yu because of the difference in speed and also because of Huang Yuan exhausting quite a bit of spirit energy of Xiao Jun Yu in the match before.

And getting a chance, Jing Ling sent the bronze beads wielding Xiao Jun Yu out of the arena with a swift barrage of attacks, lacerating his body with a kinds of slashes.

"Third round, Shrek Academy wins!"

The announcer declared.

Jing Ling sent a thumbs up toward them as everyone from the Shrek cheered for him.

But the next moment his smile faded as the next one to come from Thunderclap academy was one of the four Spirit Ancestor.

Jing Ling was outmatched but he still defended and dodged as much as he can, trying to squeeze out as much spirit energy from the opposing spirit master as much possible, before being defeated by the opponents fourth spirit ring ability.

"Fourth round, Thunderclap Academy wins!"

The members from Shrek Academy hurriedly retrieved Jing Ling from the battle stage while also feeding him healing wine. He recovered immediately as he was relatively less injured.

Originally it was supposed to be Tai Long who would fight third but Tang San recommended Xiao Wu.

There was no suspense in the match as Xiao Wu defeated the Spirit Ancestor of the Thunderclap academy effortlessly, while destroying him with her Eight Stage Drop technique.

"Fifth round, Shrek Academy wins!"

Next to come was the last Spirit Elder from the Thunderclap academy but he too got his ass kicked and was sent flying out, hitting the wall of the arena.

"Sixth round, Shrek Academy wins!"

"Yeah!!"

"Woohoo!!"

The Shrek Academy members shouted in wild joy as they cheered up for Xiao Wu. While the members of the Thunderclap academy all had their faces scrunched in anger and hatred.

The next one to follow up from Thunderclap academy was once again a Spirit Ancestor. It was somewhat of a hard battle for Xiao Wu as she struggled a lot before finally defeating him and winning three rounds consecutively.

"Seventh round, Shrek Academy wins!"

The announcer also shouted in excitement as the feeling of finally just shouting Shrek Academy name repeatedly finally came back.

"The next one to come from Thunderclap academy is a Spirit Ancestor of level 43 and also the vice captain of the Thunderclap academy, Lei Dong."

"Eighth round begin!"

Lei Dong immediately released his martial spirit as it was some kind of thunder attributed spider, name Lightning Spider.

Xiao Wu immediately tried to charm him with her second spirit ring ability as a yellow spirit rings floated up from her feet, shinning brilliantly but failing to do so as he closed his eyes while simultaneously releasing his third spirit ring ability, as a purple coloured ring rose up from his feet merging with him. He put one of his hands at the arena floor while shouting,

"Third Spirit Ring, Web of Lightning!"

Countless sparks of lightning formed all around him covering the whole arena floor, as he seemed to sense whats happening in its range.

Xiao Wu tried attacking him from every possible direction but was spotted and countered. Just as Xiao Wu thought of attacking once again, the web of lightning covering the whole arena converged back toward Lei Dong in a 2m radius.

Lei Dong still with his eyes closed turned his hands upward as the lightning web rose up from the ground. He immediately pointed his hands toward Xiao Wu direction as the lightning web immediately shot at her with lightning speed.

Xiao Wu evaded using all her speed but the lightning web continue to chase her all over the arena. She even used teleportation but it's as if it had locked on her soul, continuing to pursue her relentlessly.

Lei Dong at this moment immediately used his second spirit ring as a yellow ring flashed briefly before he shouted.

"Second Spirit Ring, Silk of Lightning!"

He clenched one of his fist backward before punching forward releasing a thin bolt of blue lightning that looked extremely similar in appearance to silk.

Xiao Wu continued teleporting all around but it can be seen that she was finally getting tired from using her ability continuosly and fighting three battles consecutively as not everyone is like Tang Ming that can spam all of his abilities indefinitely.

Xiao Wu hurriedly dodged the lightning bolt before seeing a chance and lunging toward Lei Dong, who seeing this smirked before motioning both of his hands down. It was not known when the web of lightning had appeared above her head before it slammed down.

Xiao Wu was caught off guard but once again evaded it with the help of teleportation, while simultaneously launching an attack at Lei Dong.

Lei Dong seeing Xiao Wu dodging his web of lightning also looked surprised before he again punched toward approaching Xiao Wu once again releasing a silk like lightning bolt.

Xiao Wu continued dodging while approaching Lei Dong as the latter continued punching air sending stream of silk like lightning in every direction.

The web of lightning once again materialised as it chased Xiao Wu from the back.

Finally as if getting too much irritated, Lei Dong shouted.

"Activate, Fourth Spirit Ring, God Locking Ring!"

Even though it was an exaggerated name for a measly fourth spirit ring skill, it was really one heck of a skill.

As Xiao Wu had already arrived in the ten metre radius of Lei Dong, out of nowhere, eight spider like legs sprouted from the ground in a circular formation with Xiao Wu in middle.

It happened so fast that Xiao Wu wasn't even able to react properly before the eight spider legs released a dense stream of lightning, forming a disk of condensed lightning around Xiao Wu electrocuting her.

Tang San immediately wanted to jump in the arena before Mubai stopped him as Grandmaster shouted.

"We surrender."

Lei Dong seeing this smiled before releasing her as he waved back at his team members.

Tang San hurriedly caught Xiao Wu in his arms before she fell on the arena, watching her unconscious, shivering from the high dose of electricity. He walked back with a cold look on his eyes.

Tang San arrived at the Shrek Academy place before hurriedly feeding her a drip of Healing Wine.

He stood up as he walked toward Tai Long before placing his hands on his shoulder saying,

"Tai Long, for Xiao Wu, show no mercy."

Tai Long nodded his head with a grave expression as he walked toward the battle stage.

"Ninth Round, Shrek sent one of their main attackers, Tai Long."

"Both release your martial spirit and spirit rings.."

Lei Dong immediately released his Lightning Spider as four spirit rings started to float up from his feet. He looked at Tai Long with a disdainful expression knowing that his opponent is a Spirit Elder. He didn't even need to get serious to defeat him....but stopped dreaming the next second.

Tai Long stomped one of his foot at the ground, as a big black terryfyingly savage looking Ape projection appeared behind him. The ape was covered in fully black fur with its arms and legs having blue lightning like veins. Also what shocked Lei Dong more was the four spirit rings floating up from his feet.

"WHAT?! This is unbelievable! Shrek Academy Tai Long who previously have been a 39th-level Spirit Elder has become a 41st leve Spirit Ancestor. This is truly an interesting development."

The announcer shouted as he recieved some new information.

"I'm going to give you some real pain. Be ready."

Tai Long snarled with anger as he possessed his martial spirit.

"It's about to go down.."

Tang Ming suddenly heard from the side as he noticed a bald headed black short men in black jeans and black leather coat standing beside him snacking on some popcorn god knows from where.
