CH 52: Finally Leaving Shrek School

With relief washing over her, she released a breath she didn't know she was holding. She was afraid of answering, and was afraid of not answering as well. She wasn't ready to love again at the moment, so she was afraid of disappointing him.

She could see the pure love in those eyes. She didn't want to disappoint him, making him think all that love was for nothing. So hearing him say he'll wait, she immediately relaxed happily. Letting her head go slack against his hand, smiling beautifully as he held her head up, she smiled in amusement :"You seem to be confident in what my answer is."

"Of course I know. As I said, I can see right through you." He smiled smugly, before stroking her cheek fondly :"And even if you don't love me now, I would have definitely gone all out to make you love me. Don't underestimate the charisma and wooing skills of something reincarnated from my world."

"Hahaha, you brat." Bibi Dong couldn't help but chuckle, before gently kissing his hand, looking fondly into those gentle crimson orbs :"Thanks, Li'er. Thank you for being patient with me."

"You're welcome, Sister Goddess." He chuckled lightly, before she hummed curiously :"But seriously, what are you going to do? Zhu Zhuqing is still your friend, isn't she?"

"Yeah, she is." He nodded :"I honestly had thought of bringing her with me, but I decided against it. I have too many secrets, and I don't trust her enough yet to reveal them. Also, where we'll be going is dangerous, and since I want to hide my power, I wouldn't be able to protect her."

"I see." He hummed lightly, trying to hide her relief. But from the smug smirk on Ah Li's face, she knew she failed. Rolling her pretty eyes, she leaned away. A blush on her face as she slapped his stomach, glaring softly :"Don't you dare say it."

Ah Li, chuckling :"Okay, okay. I won't."

Bibi Dong :"So what now? When are you going to leave? And where are you going to go?"

Ah Li :"Hmm, first things first, I need to break through Lv 30 as fast as I can. Then we'll go to the Star Duo Great Forest."

Bibi Dong :"Yeah, it makes sense for great treasures and opportunities to be in the Star Duo Great Forest. What are we going to find there?"

Ah Li, smirking :"We're going to catch a certain worm."

Bibi Dong, raising an eyebrow :"A worm?"

Ah Li :"Don't worry, you'll know when you see it. I won't spoil the fun of you seeing it for yourselves."

Bibi Dong :"Alright then, I'll just wait. Then what?"

Ah Li :"You'll know when the time comes. Don't be so impatient, Sister Goddess."

Bibi Dong :"Huff, are you going to tell me anything?"

Ah Li :"Yup. Just know that if everything goes according to the plan, I'll become the best genius the world has ever seen, and will see."

Bibi Dong, smirking :"Then I'll look forward to it. So when are we going to leave."

Ah Li :"I was thinking now actually. I don't have any reason to stay, so I might as well leave already."

Bibi Dong :"Alright, makes sense. Better get to those treasures as soon as possible."

"Yup, exactly." He smirked, before getting up and stretching a hand for her to take :"But before leaving, we need to do one last thing. And I'm sure you'll love it." Noticing the cruel light in his eyes, she had a feeling she knew what he wanted to do.

And she found herself smiling evilly.

Grabbing his hand, she let him raise her to her feet. But she didn't expect him to pull her into him and hold her by her waist. "Cheeky brat." She glared, but couldn't hide the smirk :"Already getting so daring?"

"Yup. And I'll be getting even more daring from now on." He grinned mischievously, giving her slim waist a squeeze. Feeling her huge breasts pressing against his chest, he couldn't help but grin. The heavenly sensation was taking everything from him to not just kiss the lips mere inches away from him.

But he had to calm down. Before she got mad, he let go :"Before we're done with Shrek school, we need to comfort Nightmare though. Poor guy got really worried when you acted like that."

"Yeah, I guess I need to apologize." She smiled gently. Getting out of her Rakshasa Domain, they saw Nightmare waiting worriedly. Making them both smile at the caring friend they had.

Bibi Dong apologized before explaining everything. Even her past life and what had happened. Ah Li, following her example, also explained to his old friend. The giant centipede was shocked, but still believed them.

Now it made sense why they hated Yu Xiaogang and Tang San so much. And frankly, they had every right to resent them. Because after hearing everything, an anger he had only felt a few times in his lifetime boiled in his heart :"That damn son of a bitch! How can there be such trash that takes advantage of someone's pure love?!"

The thought of a bastard scheming and taking advantage of Bibi Dong's love, someone who he regarded as a dear friend now, enraged him to no end. He was a Soul Beast, yet even he had more humanity than that bastard. In fact, he was sure that almost all Soul Beasts with intelligence would be disgusted with Yu Xiaogang.

"Xiao Li, you definitely cannot just leave him be!" Glaring murderously, he turned to Ah Li :"Even if you're not planning to kill him, you absolutely can't just let him go like that for now!"

"Hahaha, don't worry, Nightmare." The noiret chuckle. A chuckle that was filled with pure evil and malice :"I have something awesome planned. Come on, let's go out, you two."

When they got out, and the two spirits appeared around him, he took out a small jade bottle from his storage device. But interestingly enough to Bibi Dong, he wasn't holding it himself. He simply held it in the sky with his Soul Power, as if he was afraid of it.

"This is poison. But not any poison. This is a very unique poison that doesn't kill or deliver pain. It's something I made myself." With an evil smirk, he began to explain what the poison was. And after hearing it, Bibi Dong understood why he was so careful with it.

Forget about a guy, even a woman would be scared of that poison. It was simply a nightmare for men. Imagining what was going to happen to Yu Xiaogang, a twisted and evil smile appeared on her beautiful face :"Good, good. Only this kind of fate is suitable for Yu Xiaogang, that trash. And this is just the beginning of his suffering."

"Exactly." Ah Li chuckled, while Nightmare scoffed :"Serves that disgusting bastard right. Are you going to give it to that bastard friend of his too?" But Ah Li shook his head :"No, it wouldn't be fun that way. We'll figure out something else for Flender later."

"Hahaha, then let's start already." Bibi Dong chuckled evilly, impatient to make Yu Xiaogang suffer as much as possible. The noiret didn't beat around the bush anymore. Activating his Orbs, but only a bit of their real powers, he disappeared from place.

The next second, he appeared in the same room as Flender and Yu Xiaogang. They were drowning drinks after drinks, but to Ah Li, they had come to a complete standstill. The whole world seemed to have stopped for him.

Even the light.

Humming softly, singing a gentle tone, as if he hadn't planned the most inhumane plan for Yu Xiaogang, he made the jade bottle float towards Yu Xiaogang's glass. As the drops of the poison floated in the air, and as Bibi Dong laughed happily, Ah Li disappeared as fast as he had come.

Yu Xiaogang, groaning :"Hm?"

Flender, slurring :"What happened?"

Yu Xiaogang :"Nothing, I just thought something fell into my drink."

Flender :"Eh, you're just imagining it. Come on, let's drink some more!"

After storing everything he had in the room, Ah Li finally decided to walk to Zhu Zhuqing's room. He wasn't that much of an asshole to leave without saying goodbye to his friend.

"Hey, Zhu Zhuqing, it's me." He called out, and a few moments later, the door was opened to a smiling Zhu Zhuqing :"Hey, good night, Ah Li. What is it?"

"I'm leaving." Instead of making it complicated, he decided to get to the point. As a confused look appeared on the noirette's pretty face, he explained :"I'm leaving Shrek school. And I'm leaving now."

Zhu Zhuqing :"W-what? You're leaving?"

Ah Li :"Yeah."

Zhu Zhuqing :"Why? I-is something the matter? Why are you leaving so suddenly? Have you told the dean?"

Ah Li :"No, I'm just going to leave. I wasn't going to stay in Shrek school anyway, and after seeing I don't get along with anyone besides you, and that the school is getting disbanded anyway, I've decided to leave."

"Oh..." She realized, a sad look appearing on her beautiful face :"Then... where are you going?" He shook his head :"It's a secret, I can't tell." Looking down, she grew even sadder :"Can I... Can I come with you?"

"I'm sorry, but no." He sighed :"It's a secret, and it's too dangerous. I'll need to be careful even for myself." She hummed sadly :"And I'm too weak..." Sighing, he squeezed her shoulder gently :"Come on, Zhuqing, don't be so sad.

It's not like this is the end. We're friends, that's why I came to tell you when I didn't tell anybody. I promise I'll come to see you after my business is done."

"Do you promise?" She looked up, eyes sad but still hopeful. Smiling, he nodded :"I promise. You're my best friend after all." Causing her to smile, but the disappointment in her heart confused her :"Hm, then you must keep your promise, okay?"

"Don't worry, I'll definitely keep it." He smiled, before spreading his arms :"Can I get a goodbye hug?" A blush creeped onto her face, but she nodded before hugging him tightly.

Ah Li wanted to keep it innocent, but the feeling of her big breasts against his chest was hard to ignore. Especially with much they were squeezing against him thanks to the hug. Forcing himself and his junior to keep calm, he smiled :"Don't worry, I'll definitely come to meet you in a few months. And then, have your bags ready. Because I'll take you to where I'll be going now with me."

"Hm, o-okay..." She wanted to sound natural, but her choke broke through. Pulling back, he gently cupped her cheek :"Aww, Zhuqing, don't cry." Although they only knew each other for a few months, she had still become a good friend.

So seeing her so sad, with her lips gently quivering, and tears slowly gathering in her eyes, was a pretty heart wrenching scene for him :"Come on, please don't cry. I can't help it, I have to leave."

"B-but I... I don't want you to leave..." She choked softly, leaning into his touch, letting a few tears fall :"Y-you're the only real friend I've ever had..." Sighing softly, he gently wiped the tears. Even if she was sad, he couldn't stay. He had to get some things done. Things he had planned for years. Remembering something, he smiled softly.

"Here, look at this." Twisting his hand, a plushie appeared in his hand. But not any plushie, a plushie that looked like her, made using his own webbing. Taking the small plushie that looked like her, she looked at him with confusion.

"I made it myself. It's you." He chuckled, taking out another one :"And this is me. You can have this one." Handing over the sitting plushie that looked like him, Zhu Zhuqing looked at it with wonder.

"You can keep this as a gift and a reminder." Ah Li smiled, stroking her cheek gently :"Remember my promise when you look at it and I'll remember it when I look at your plushie, okay?"

Hugging his plushie, she finally smiled :"Hm, okay. Take care, alright?" Making him smile. As he stored her plushie, he started walking away. Looking back, the noiret smiled :"Goodbye, Zhuqing. Take care of yourself."

And with that, he finally left. No longer staying with Zhu Zhuqing who walked back into her room, before letting the tears fall as she hugged the plushie, wetting it with her lonely tears that already missed the only friend she ever had.
