Skywater Academy

Some days of the tournament passed with Haotian's team flawlessly winning their matches without match difficulty facing against lower academies that lacked Spirit Ancestors in them like the Blue Sunshine Academy or the Purple Star Academy.

Like Heaven Dou Team, Shrek also won all of its matches even when they faced the Blazing Academy. However, unlike in canon, they used all Shrek Seven Devils with Rongrong as the only exception, being replaced by Jiang Zhu. It had a close match, but they were able to obtain the victory thanks to Hongjun natural resistance to fire.

Also, in these days, Haotian had made sure that Shi Nian had disappeared without any trace, cementing his theory of the spirit bone in his possession being his.

Today, Haotian's group went towards the central arena, today's match being the one highlighted as it was against another favorite, the Skywater Academy.

Yue Er's talent was so so, being at 18 years old a Spirit Elder with a Dolphin spirit. Neither her talent or spirit really caught Haotian's attention. And to tell the truth her character wasn't very attractive to Haotian. If he needed to choose, he would rather choose Bing Er.

Her strong and calm demeanor were more of his liking and her talent and spirit were top-notch, having reached the Spirit Ancestor rank. However, her spirit was the Ice Phoenix, even if it was a top-notch spirit, it was too similar to Biyun's spirit, falling under the Frost Fire Phoenix that Biyun's started with. If Haotian didn't have Biyun, she would be quite high in his list.

It seems that they are going to use their full strength from the start' Haotian stepped forward, knowing his immunity over the Yin's element, he was prepared to face the Skywater alone but was stopped by Meijing and Biyun stepping forward him.

"Tian, please. Let us this time" Meijing requested, Biyun nodding at her.

"Griiiiiii!" Biyun's phoenix stretched its wings, being followed by four spirit rings, 2 yellows, a purple and a black. Likewise, Meijing invoked her Seven Kill Sword, showing the same configuration as Biyun. Meijing's sword had experimented some changes after she had absorbed her 4th spirit ring. Some red bulging lines appeared along the blade, creating a bloody feeling and making the weapon look more ominous.

"Another two Spirit Ancestor with 10.000 years old ring!" The audience was again shocked by the girls display. This year Heaven Dou's Team was truly monstrous "Heaven Dou number one!"

"Start!" Already used to Heaven Dou not using all their members, the presenter didn't wait for confirmation, declaring the start of the match.

Meijing and Biyun calmly stepped forward towards the other team "Let me have that bitch. I will show her a lesson" Meijing whispered coldly, Biyun nodding at her.

"Ice Bind!" Bing Er's first spirit ring shined, a cold wind shooting from her and shooting over Meijing and Biyun's feet, ice forming under them.

"Crack!" Withing less than a second, Meijing was able to break through the ice by pure strength, not even needing to use her sword against it.

Ice Bind was a powerful control ability, it was impossible to avoid, being able to follow its target and freezing its feet on the ground, keeping them immobile for some time. For someone at the same rank than Bing Er, it should be able to block 2 seconds, but Meijing wasn't the normal Spirit Ancestor. Thanks to her cultivation with Haotian and being the girl with the longest time with him, her physique was far stronger than the average, it was almost at the level of Chenxiang and Meijing didn't have a support of a strong beast spirit, being comparable at a Spirit Emperor.

"Too useless" For Biyun, Ice Bind had been even more useless, she wasn't stopped even an instant, continuing walking towards them, her feet crossing over the ice like water, dispersing under her spirit influence.

The presenter was shocked about what happened. The Skywater team seemed completely unable to make any move, already having lost under Biyun's technique. He didn't know if he should already declare the winner. However, before he was able to decide, Biyun acted.

"Ptt!" Biyun snapped her fingers, causing three of the coffin to crack open, releasing Shui Bing Er, Shui Yue Er and Xue Wu who breathed loudly, looking shockingly shitless at Biyun's power.

"Is this all that you are able to do?" Biyun said coldly, angering the released trio that shoot her a strong gaze.

"Let's do it" Bing Er approached Xue Wu, hugging her. Both of their bodies started shining, their spirits returning to their body as their spirit energy started fusing with each other.

"Spirit fusion!" Some shouted shocked.

"Griiiiiiiii!" Over Bing Er and Xue Wu's position, blue clouds formed, snow falling from them and finally forming a colossal seven meters tall ice phoenix that shrieking powerfully.

"Drifting Snow!" The ice phoenix charged towards Biyun, producing snowflakes sharp as dagger in its charge.

Bing Er and Xue Wu very rarely depended on their spirit fusion as they couldn't really control it, being affected even by their allies and unable to stop until they run out of spirit power. However, they knew that it was the only way to face Biyun.

Biyun stepped forward, completely ignoring the sharp snowflakes that dispersed before reaching her. Just as the Drifting Snow was about to reach her, it stopped still. Biyun caressed it, not being damaged by it at all.

"Destroy them" Biyun whispered, her blue flames covering the Drifting Snow.

"GRRRRRRIIIIIIIIII!" The Drifting Snow shrieked, the power of it increased to a new level, its feathers shining brightly and its features becoming much more lively and natural, seeming to be a completely alive phoenix.

The Drifting Snow turned around shooting over Bing Er and Xue Wu who only were able to show frightened faces under such an attack.

"BOOOOOM!" The Drifting Snow exploded over them taking them out of the field with grievous wounds, in an unconscious state barely alive.

Biyun had shown her tremendous control far surpassing her rivals. Not only she was able to take control over their spirit fusion thanks to her ultimate element, but she was also able to completely control it, controlling the area of effect and the potency, causing a lot of damage without killing them.

Looking at the fate of her sister and teammate, Shui Yue Er was scared shitless "I sur-Hg!" She was about to surrender but before she was able, she was silenced by Meijing whose left hand was clenched over her neck, choking her while lifting from the floor.

Meijing's eyes shined with a strong killing intent completely directed to Yue Er, showing her great control not an ounce of killing intent being detected by the audience or her teammates.

Yue Er's body started trembling as she tried to breathe, rather than the hand over her neck, it was Meijing's strong aura that avoided her to even breathe. At that moment, she knew that she would die by Meijing's hand.

"P-ple-" She tried to pray for her life under Meijing's lifeless eyes.

Meijing approached her face towards Yue Er whispering coldly "How dare you to flirt with Haotian?"

Yue Er weakly shook her head with her full strength, trying to convey that she wouldn't do it again. "If I see you approaching Haotian again or even look at his direction, you are DEAD!" Meijing's killing intent exploded, invading the poor Yue Er who was unable to move. Yue Er's eyes rolled over as she lose consciousness while foaming from her mouth.

"Weak" Meijing said coldly while releasing Yue Er from her grip, Yue Er falling over the ground lifelessly. She wasn't dead but would need a lot of time to recover from the mental shock.

Meijing turned around towards Haotian, her demeanor turning 180º, her killing intent disappeared, being replaced by a worried face that seemed to feel guilty about "I might have used too much strength for her, sorry."

Haotian turned to Skywater Team and sighed "Don't worry, try to control yourself better next time" From what he could see they didn't have any permanent wound so there wasn't much to worry.

"W-winner, Heaven Dou Academy!" The presenter declared Heaven Dou's victory, continuing their undefeated streak.
