Chapter 88: Killing Tie Li

"Haa... Haa..."

Tang Ya panted heavily, sweat dripping out of her temples. Her four soul rings flickered constantly, undulations of her soul power rippled around her.

"Finally tired now, little bitch?" Tie Li sneered, his voice filled with malice, blood dripping from his lips. His whole furred body was covered in injuries and blood, Tang Ya had certainly done some damage. But the difference between their cultivation strength was still wide and having a bear type martial soul made him incredibly hard to kill.

"Even whatever your ten thousand year soul ring ability has no effect on me! Hahaha! Is this fate? The heavens are fair and my retribution has come!" Tie Li laughed maniacally, his eyes bloodshot as he approached Tang Ya.

"My son, your father will avenge you now."

Tang Ya gritted her teeth, her focus unwavering despite her exhaustion. She knew she couldn't let up now. She had to finish this once and for all.

"I'm not done yet," she replied, her voice laced with determination and resolution. Her soul rings yellow and purple glows, and she threw many throwing knives at Tie Li.

"Hmph! It's useless!" Tie Li coldly snorted and smacked away the throwing knives, thick thorny dark-blue vines then sprouted out of the ground and started wrapping around him.

The Dark-Blue Silver Grass started to completely enveloped his entire body, each vine quickly grasping his body as if it were a snake and the vines trapped him into a cocoon.

Tie Li wasn't worried however, he could easily tear it all apart in a matter of seconds. He was however, cautious of what Tang Ya was going to do.

Tang Ya stared at his bound body with a malicious grin, "Idiot." she clasped both her hands towards Tie Li and a dark aura enveloped her Dark Blue Silver Grass, activating its innate devouring ability.

"Absorb."

"Huh?" Tie Li stared in disbelief as he felt his energy and lifeforce being drained away by the Dark Blue Silver Grass. His previous confidence began to waver as he struggled against the tightening vines.

Tang Ya's eyes glinted with determination as she intensified the absorption, drawing in more and more of Tie Li's energy and lifeforce. The cocoon of Dark Blue Silver Grass pulsed with power, vibrant and alive.

"No..." Tie Li growled, his voice strained as he fought against the draining effect. He activated all six of his soul skills so he could escape but to his despair, the vines seemed to become tougher and firm than before. Tang Ya didn't absorb his energy into her, but transfer it into her martial soul.

"Nonononono!! NO!! I don't wanna die, not yet! And I can't in your fucking hands, you bitch!" Tie Li howled, violently struggling against the bindings of the Dark Blue Silver Grass.

But no matter how hard he fought, it seemed futile. His strength continued to be drained away, his lifeforce fading.

With each passing moment, Tie Li's gradually became fainter as his lifeforce was being consumed by Tang Ya's Dark Blue Silver Grass.

Tang Ya stood over the cocoon, her black cloak having multiple cuts and blood slowly spilling out, her eyes brimming with a mix of satisfaction and exhaustion.

She leaned forward, her eyes glowing with vengeance, "You reap what you sow, Tie Li. Your crimes should end here... but this just feels so lame." She snapped her hands and the Godly Shotgun appeared in her hand from her storage ring.

She waved her hand and the thick vines forced Tie Li to his knees, unraveling his head; his martial soul transformation having been undone.

Tang Ya smirked as she heard footsteps and voices coming near them and she leaned to his ears and whispered, "Watch as I destroy everything you've stolen from me."

Many Ironblood Sect members came dashing in the training hall doors, their eyes widening at the sight before them. Tang Ya stood tall, the Godly Shotgun in her hand, and Tie Li, their once formidable sect master, now weak and defeated.

"The sect master is here! And so is that Tang Sect heiress scum!"

"She has the Sect Master in her hands!"

A middle aged man ordinary looking man with five soul rings, a Soul King, pointed at Tang Ya and exclaimed, "Everyone, attack! Save the sect master!!"

Enraged, and thinking that they could take her on as she looked exhausted, they recklessly charged forward. One soul king, five soul ancestors and twenty soul elders charged at her simultaneously, their attacks aimed at overpowering her.

But Tang Ya wasn't worried, with a mix expression of calm and confident, she whispered into Tie Li's ear once more.

"By the way, that ten thousand year soul skill of mine? I held back a bit from releasing it's true prowess, out of fear that I'll kill you in an instant. What's the point of just killing you?"

Tie Li's eyes widened when he saw Dark Blue Silver Grasses sprouting from the ground below the Ironblood Sect members, pink flames enveloping the vines and a fishy smell spread.

"I want you to suffer."

[4th Soul Skill: Toxic Blight]

As Tang Ya activated her fourth soul skill, a toxic pink mist spread from the Dark Blue Silver Grasses, engulfing the Ironblood Sect members in a cloud of poisonous gas. Their movements slowed, their bodies weakened, and they could feel the deadly effects of the toxins seeping into their systems.

"Aaaaaah! W-What is this?!"

"It hurts... It hurts!"

"M-My face... what's wrong with my face?!"

Blood started spilling out of their orifices, their eyes melting and skin falling off.

Panic spread among the Ironblood Sect members as they realized their imminent demise. They desperately tried to run away, but their legs had turned into jelly; their bones disintegrated. Their bodies grew weaker with each passing moment, the toxins eating away at their vitality.

Tang Ya's fourth soul ring came from an infamous Red Flying Serpent King, a soul beast notorious for its sheer size, explosive flames and venom that can easily kill a thousand men in an instant. After becoming her soul ring, it enhanced her Dark Blue Silver Grass' toughness, flexibility and resistance to fire.

Her soul skill was its powerful venom, capable of killing a thousand people in an instant: the Toxic Bile. It could instantly affect anyone her level and below, while it would take a few seconds to affect those at 5-7 soul rings.

Tang Ya watched with a cold, emotionless gaze as the Ironblood Sect members struggled and writhed in agony. She couldn't help but feel a twisted satisfaction at seeing them suffer, knowing that they were paying for their crimes against her.

She glanced at Tie Li's face, feeling a sense of euphoria as she saw his broken and despaired face.

Snorting, she straighten her back and pointed her Godly Shotgun at the back of his head.

*Bang*

Blood and brain matter spilled across the floor and Tang Ya's face, Tie Li's headless body dropped to the ground.

Tang Ya's face was blank and cold as she wiped the blood off her face, her eyes devoid of any emotion.

Putting back the Godly Shotgun in her storage ring, she ignored the cries of the Ironblood Sect members and walked out of the training hall to find Huo Yuhao.

As she walked down the corridors, her vision began to blur as tears trickled down from her eyes. She stopped and leaned her back at the wall, clutching her chest as she sobbed.

"...Mom, dad. I've done it, I've finally avenged you..."

Tang Ya's voice quivered with a mix of relief and sorrow as she let herself finally release the emotions she had kept bottled up for so long. The weight of her revenge had finally been lifted, but the pain of her losses still lingered.

She closed her eyes, trying to compose herself before continuing her journey to find Huo Yuhao. As she walked, memories of her parents flashed through her mind - their smiles, their warmth, and the love they had shown her.

She vowed to continue their last wishes, to live a life filled with purpose and meaning. She would protect the ones she loved, and ensure that no one else would suffer the same fate as her parents.

With renewed determination, Tang Ya wiped away her tears and straightened her posture. She would honor her parents' memory by living her life to the fullest and never faltering in her pursuit of justice. And as she walked towards her future, she carried with her the weight of her past, embracing all that she had endured and overcome.

She was Tang Ya, the daughter of Tangmen, a survivor, and a force to be reckoned with. And she would make sure that her enemies would never forget her name.

"From now on, Tang Sect is officially gone." She muttered as she headed towards a direction that had the screams of people, guessing that's where Huo Yuhao was.

She smiled as she clutched her dark cloak with red clouds.

"Now, it's time for the rise of the Akatsuki."
