Chapter 30 — Otherworldly Academy (3)

Creak!

The large heavy iron gate was slowly opening under Li Yue's physical strength.

"This large iron gate can only opened with a strong physical strength," Li Yue explained after opening the large iron gate.

Yu Long was quite surprised hearing that. He didn't expect Li Yue opened that large iron gate solely with his own body.

The five students immediately went inside the Otherworldly Academy with Li Yue as their guide. Yu Long scanned the inside of the Otherworldly Academy.

It had an path made out of smooth marbles, tiled buildings made perfectly, and some unique scuplting statues displayed on some areas.

Yu Long was surprised seeing those statues made nicely.

'Is there a sculptor inside this academy?' Yu Long was filled with anticipation as he saw those statues.

Yu Long had only trained his sculpting skills without anyone to teach him, so he wanted to meet the sculptor to gain some pointers or insights.

The next test that the five enrollees were gonna take was the spirit measuring tool test.

"Ji Yu: Rank 28 GrandMaster!" Li Yue shouted after seeing the glow coming out from spirit measuring tool after Ji Yu sent her spirit power into it.

It was Hu Yu turn to be checked.

"Hu Yu: Rank 28 GrandMaster!" Li Yue said while thinking these two sister was alike.

Yu Long looked at the spirit measuring tool that Li Yue held on his hand. It was much more higher quality than the one he had seen when he awakened his spirit.

He then walked toward Li Yue and placed his palm toward the crystal ball and sent his spirit power toward it.

A brilliant light emittted from it, Li Yue who saw it exclaimed, "Yu Long: Rank 30 Grandmaster!"

Truly an otherworldly child! Only 10 years old and yet already reached the rank 30!

Li Yue thought happily with a large smile blooming on his face.

Yu Long didn't pay any attention toward Li Yue expression and just walked toward the side.

The reason he went from rank 29 to rank 30 was because he had advance on his way toward the Starry Sea City. He had managed to because he was already at the peak of rank 29 to begin with.

"Xiao Yi: Rank 27 GrandMaster!"

"Fang Lin: Rank 27 GrandMaster!"

Li Yue was not suprised seeing the two abit lower in cultivation than the other sister since they were older by 1 year.

"Now that we checked your spirit power rank, we will now proceed to your will test." Li Yue said deeply.

Reddish light rose from Li Yue's feet and six halos appeared behind him. His body were covered in red feathers as large red wings grew from his back.

Li Yue then released a suffocating and burning aura toward Yu Long's group.

Ji Yu and Hu Yu summoned their own spirit and spirit rings to resist the suffocating aura of Li Yue, but then they were shock.

Roar!

After the terrifying aura neared Yu Long, a cosmic-shattering roar escaped from his body destroying Li Yue's aura.

"E-Er..." Li Yue sweat slightly seeing what happened, "Yu Long you passed this test! Can you stand on the side for a minute? I will test your friends will." Li Yue looked at him with a teary eyes.

Yu Long could only nod his head.

Li Yue released his suppressing aura again to crash their will, but the four enrollees managed to resist it in the end.

"Since you guys managed to successfully passed the stage of will, you can now proceed to the final combat test!" Li Yue declared.

"Who will we be fighting against? You?" Fang Lin asked curiously.

Li Yue shook his head after hearing what Fang Lin asked, "You guys will fight against the vice-headmaster! Follow me."

Yu Long, Xiao Yi, Fang Lin, Hu Yu, and Ji Yu nodded and followed Li Yue.

The enrollees soon arrived inside an enclosed large stage. They then saw a tall muscular man standing there menacingly.

Yu Long let out a suprised look seeing who this man was, "The handsome guy!"

Lou Yue quickly looked toward the one who called him handsome and then saw who it was.

"The sculpting master?" Lou Yue asked quite surprised to see Yu Long.

Yu Long nodded in response.

Next to him Xiao Yi and Fang Lin was suprised to see the two to know each other.

"You're the vice-headmaster?" Yu Long asked amazed.

"Of course! I will also not be going easy on you!" Lou Yue grinned as he smash his fist into his palm.

"We will also not going easy on you!" Yu Long shouted back.

"Good! You guys fight me will all you got! Be sure to atleast leave a scratch on me!" Lou Yue chuckled provokingly.

"That bastard!" Fang Lin muttered angrily after hearing what Lou Yue said.

Lou Yue suddenly released a brilliant light, eight halos rose up slowly from him releasing a heavenly suppressing might toward Yu Long's group.

Pitch-black scales appeared on Lou Yue's face, two arm and feet.

Yu Long was shocked seeing the eight halos on Lou Yue, "A Spirit Douluo!"

"I will limit my self to use only three spirit rings against you guys! This will be enough to beat the crap out of you all!" Lou Yue arrogantly claimed.

"We'll see!" Yu Long grinned as he felt his every muscle shaking in excitement

"Let's go!" Yu Long commanded loudly.

They all quickly summoned their spirit.

Yu Long looked toward the two sisters and asked, "What can your spirit do?"

Ji Yu answered with a smile, "I can summon sprites to boost your ability!"

Yu Long then looked toward Hu Yu. Her spirit was something he hadn't seen before.

"I can support and do abit of mental attack," Hu Yu answered.

"Ji Yu you support us at the back and Hu Yu wait for opportunities!" Yu Long said.

<2nd spirit ring: Wood Control>

Yu Long nature tree formed into wooden spear with a sharp blade.

<1st Spirit Ring: Fire Salamander Spirit>

Ji Yu first yellow spirit ring lit up and a small blazing salamander appeared out of it.

"Little Sala support Yu Long!" Ji Yu said gently toward the blazing salamander.

The salamander nodded his little head and turned into a blazing flame that flew toward Yu Long.

A fire symbol appeared on Yu Long's cheeks as he felt every single muscle he had exploding with power.

<1st Spirit Ring: Mind Eye>

Hu Yu eyes glowed in a gentle green light and a third green eyes condensed at her forehead. She was able to see everything from the sky like an eagle.

<2nd spirit ring: Mind Thread>

Threads made out of green lights shoot out from her body and connected toward Yu Long, Xiao Yi, Fang Lin, and Ji Yu.

Yu Long then froze as his view switched from first person to third person view.

[Holy cow! What is happening!]

He then heard Fang Lin alarmed voice inside his head.

[Fang Lin?]

Xiao Yi's shocked voice sounded inside Yu Long's mind too.

[Don't panic! This is my 2nd ability that allows me to share the third person view from my mind eye and also allowed us to communicate inside our mind!]

[Okay!] (Yu Long)

[Holy Cow! This is so cool!] (Fang Lin)

[My sister Is awesome right!?] (Ji Yu)

[We need to concentrate on our enemy!] Yu Long quickly reminded them.

"We can start the fight now!" Yu Long said toward Lou Yue.

"Come at me then!" Lou Yue gestured for all of them to come at him.

Yu Long charged toward Lou Yue with his spear clad in crimson and silver light.

<1st Spirit Ring: Black Dragon Claw>

Lou Yue right claw enlarge and released a sharp sensation.

Boom!

His sharp claw and Yu Long's spear clashed, causing the wind to tremble.

"Not bad!" Lou Yue said seeing Yu Long's wooden spear not broken after meeting with his clash.

"Grow! Grow!"

Yu Long spear suddenly grew in length and shoot toward the gap of Lou Yue's claw.

<2nd Spirit Ring: Black Dragon Barrier>

Lou Yue chest was quickly covered in a large black barrier.

"Scatter!"

Yu Long willed the long spear to produced many sharp woods at Lou Yue's barrier.

[ Xiao Yi! Switch! ] (Yu Long)

Yu Long immediately step back and Xiao Yi appeared infront of him with her spear glowing in intense crimson light.

(Star Dragon Thrust + Flash Kill = Star Dragon Kill)

Swoosh!

Xiao Yi spear thrusted toward Lou Yue whose barrier was already gone in a lightning speed.

Lou Yue tried to dodged, but he was already late as Xiao Yi grazed his cheeks with her long spears.

Drip!

Lou Yue wiped the bits of blood flowing out from his cheeks, "I should start to get serious."

<3rd spirit ring: Demonic Black Dragon Transformation>

Lou Yue was covered in a dense amount of black scales as a pair of small wing grew out from his back and four horns grew from his forehead.

<1st Spirit Ring: Black Dragon Claw>

Lou Yue claw released a large amount of black light as he pierced it toward Xiao Yi

[Fang Lin!]

Clang!

Fang Lin sent his two shields toward Lou Yue claw and stopped it.

Crack!

Fang Lin eyes trembled seeing his shield showing signs of cracking.

[Ji Yu, support Fang Lin!]

[Got it!]

<2nd Spirit Ring: Earth Gnome Spirit>

Ji Yu second halo lit up as a small earth sprite flew toward Fang Lin.

A glowing earth symbol appeared on Fang Lin cheek and he felt his defense increasing, but he needed more to stop Lou Yue!

"Golden Bro!" Fang Lin shouted inwardly.

"Roger!"

<1st Spirit Ring: Golden Fort>

Fang Lin body was covered in golden stones with his shield also becoming gold.

"..!" Lou Yue felt annoyed that he was not able to even break Fang Lin's shield.

He was a Spirit Douluo Goddamit!

<5th Spirit Ring: Roar Of the Black Dragon>

Massive amount of black light started to accumulate inside Lou Yue's mouth and it quickly grew bigger.

"Incinerate!" Lou Yue shouted loudly.

The black light that gathered on his mouth formed into a huge black beam and shoot toward Fang Lin and Xiao Yi.

"Run!" Yu Long shouted after seeing the black beam that Lou Yue made.

Hearing Yu Long, Fang Lin sent his golden shield to buy him and Xiao Yi some time to avoid the beam.

Yu Long then widened his eyes as Fang Lin shield quickly broke and the black beam was about to hit them.

"No!" Yu Long shouted as he suddenly felt everything before him slowing down.

Hiis body was covered in bright crimson and silver light.

<1st Spirit Ring: Lunar Mark>

Yu Long's eyes were bloodshot, his body grew tremendously from all the buff he currently had. A visible thick crimson and silver aura appeared all over his body.

Yu Long held his wooden spear in a throwing stance as the crimson and silver poured toward it.

"No!" Yu Long growled deeply as his right arm bulged with veins sticking out from his skin.

He throwed the spear toward the black beam with his face sweating heavily.

BOOM!!!!

The spear shoot through the air causing a terrifying gale to be made. The ground on Yu Long's feet leave a deep crater.

The few people watching the combat test went quite seeing the strength that Yu Long displayed.

It was not strength a rank 30 GrandMaster should have!

Swoosh!

The spear met with the black beam creating a huge explosion.

The black beam suddenly dispersed as the spear continued to charged toward Luo Yue.

Yu Long seeing this widened his eyes and recalled the spear.

The spear was 1 inch away from Lou Yue before dissapearing.

Cough!

Lou You suddenly spit abit of fresh blood from his mouth after the spear almost hit him.

He was shocked to see the spear still managed to hit him even though it did not hit him!

"Brother you're too hot-headed. Look you made me spit blood," Lou You chuckled after saying that.

He was the one at wrong at first, but he didn't actually tried to hit Xiao Yi and Fang Lin with his <Black Dragon Roar> since he can easily dispersed it. He just wanted to scare and impressed them with awesome might, but it somehow took a wrong turn.

Thankfully Yu Long quickly realized this when the black beam suddenly dispersed.
