Chapter 02

Elder Xuan took both the three children and Three Eye Golden Lion, and then flied towards the northern outer region of the Great Star Dou Forest. He chose to fly towards the northern outer region as it was closest to the Shrek City. So he could easily retreat if the beast tries to attack them. Although he flied with all his strength, he was stopped before he reached his destination.

The entire Great Star Dou Forest suddenly became silent and motionless. It was so quiet that they could not hear any single sound. Even the sound of wind passing through leaves and sound of little birds could not be heard. The sky also became dark, and then three fierce auras appeared and approached them.

The first is the Scarlet King, Three Headed Scarlet Devil Mastiff. The second beast was a huge golden bear, the Bear Lord. The last one was purple-black giant dragon with full of destructive aura. It was the Abyss Demon Dragon, the Demon Queen, who was ranked 9 in the ten great beasts.

Seeing the three great beasts, Elder Xuan's expression grew solemn and worried. He said,

"What do you mean by this? Where is the spirit beast I demand?"

"Hmph…. Despicable human, stop your nonsense. Your pupil is clearly alive. There is no reason to give you a spirit beast," said the Scarlet King.

"What did you do to the Emperor beast? If the Emperor beast dies, 10 you won't be able to leave the Star Dou Forest alive," said the Demon Queen.

But if anyone from Shrek City dare to set foot on the Great Star Dou Forest, we won't hesitate to launch another large-scale invasion. Ok, let's go back to home." the deep voice said, and the last sentence was meant for three great beasts.

Soon, they arrived to the Shrek academy and Elder Xuan stopped only when they reached to the Sea God's Pavilion.

"Yu Hao, Wang Dong, Xiao Xiao, three of you stay here for a while. I have to discuss what happened earlier with Elder Mu." Elder Xuan said as he quickly walked to the Sea God's Pavilion.

"Yes," the three children replied.

"I want to meditate to stabilize my condition," said the Wang Dong. He had a strong and strange feeling ever since he saw the blue light flashed during elemental transfusion between Huo Yuhao and Three Eye Golden Lion. Although he could not clearly describe this feeling, he had a feeling that there was definitely a connection between Three Eye Golden Lion and him.

"Wang Dong, are you ok?" Huo Yuhao asked with concern.

"Yeah, just feel a little dizzy,"answered Wang Dong.

"You should more care about yourself. After all, we all don't know anything about elemental transfusion much."

"Ok, you two meditate and I will watch over two of you," Xiao Xiao said.

"Ok," Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong nodded.

"Elder Yi, Brother Tian Meng (Skydream), Ice Empress, are you alright?"Huo Yuhao asked.

"We are almost died this time. We're lucky enough to alive now thanks to Yi Lai Ke Si." He added with a sigh.

"It's all your fault, you fool. How could you choose the Emperor beast as Yuhao's spirit ring among a million of spirit beasts in the Star Dou Forest? You're really good at seeking death," Ice Empress said angrily and hit Skydream Ice Worm.

"Bing Bing, don't be angry. Anyway, all of us are fine now. And there are some benefits from elemental transfusion. You see, Yuhao's spiritual power doubles. Moreover, his eye of Life somehow transform. Although I don't understand much about it, I sure that it becomes more powerful. Elder Yi might know about this. Then the Skydream Ice Worm began to sleep. After all, he had a tough time during the spiritual power battle with Three Eye Golden Lion.

"I've returned from the Star Dou Forest, Elder Mu," said the Elder Xuan.

"Come in,"Elder Mu said gently, and his sound seemed a little weak.

Then Elder Xuan walked in, and he was surprised when he saw Elder Mu's appearance. He even forgot to report what happened in the Star Dou Forest. He asked,

"Elder Mu, what happened to you?"

Elder Mu then explained bitterly about the attack of evil spirit master and how Ma Xiaotao escape during chaos. Elder Mu sighed and asked,

"How was your trip in Star Dou Forest? Is everything alright?"

"Elder Mu, that's….," Elder Xuan hesitated. Then he reported what happened in the Star Dou Forest to Elder Mu.

"You're really reckless. We already have enough problem. We're in trouble now. Tell everyone in the Shrek academy not to hunt in the Star Dou Forest during the next three years. If anyone wants a spirit ring, they can go to the Sunset forest to hunt." said Elder Mu.

"Elder Mu, are we really going to do as the beasts said?" complained.

"Yes, we will. If we start a war with spirit beasts of the Star Dou Forest, our strength will be weakened a lot, even if we win. After that, the evil organization might strike us. Moreover, Sun Moon Empire might also declare a war. What would we do if something like that happen? We have strength to defend any of these forces. But we don't have enough strength to defeat all of them. It's time to nurture our new generation with the best effort," Elder Mu explained.

"Lord Di Tian, Why did you let them go?" Scarlet King asked the deep voice. The owner of the deep voice was naturally Di Tian, the Beast God.

"Killing that titled douluo only make human more unite and eager to fight us. And the Emperor beast is fine. It is just unconscious and there's nothing to worry," Di Tian said.

"Scarlet King, if you have done your work well, none of this would happen." Bear Lord blamed Scarlet King.

"I asked the Emperor beast not to go to the hybrid region. But it didn't listen to me. And that cunning human….he lied to me that his pupil was killed by the Emperor beast and demand a fifteen thousand years spirit beast as compensation," Scarlet King tried to explain.

"Alright, that's enough. End this matter here. I want no more argument." Di Tian said.

Six months later,

In the core region of the Great Star Dou Forest, a golden lion was lazily lying under the sunlight. Although it seemed just lazily sleeping, if you watched closely, you will notice the strange rhythmic breathing of the golden lion. A few minutes later, it slowly got up from mediation and opened its eyes. A bright purple light flashed in the eyes of the golden lion.

"It's become difficult to improve after I achieved the second stage of purple demon eyes," the golden lion softly said.

The golden lion was naturally the Emperor beast. The last few months were a miracle in its fifteen thousand years of life. After it woke up from coma, it was scolded by Di Tian for a while and forbidden to leave the core region of the Star Dou Forest. Then Di Tian checked her condition. Last was the whole memories of a 12 year old boy. With its spirit power, it could easily handle these memories. These memories were more interesting than the first memories remnant and less complex than second memories remnant. It began to know and understand about the human world. These memories also gave it the knowledge about martial spirits, spirit tools and most importantly Tang Sect techniques.

Among Tang Sect techniques, it could only cultivate the purple demon eyes, maybe because other technique are suitable only for human.

All of these memories gave the Emperor Beast new knowledge and renewed its viewpoint of the world. Originally, it just wanted to cultivate to become a hundred thousand years spirit beast and live well in the Star Dou Forest with its companions. Now, the Emperor Beast had a newer and greater goal.

"I want to become a god," the Three Eye Golden Lion determined.
