Chapter 6 The Journey Begins

As he heard those words, Madara felt as if a stone was taken off his shoulders his mind was so clear his body full of energy. With a final farewell, he continued his search.

In a short few minutes, Madara found a perfect ring.

Species steel back mole age 12

Ability steel fur, description the power to turn its fur into a hardness similar to steel.

Madara knew this was the one, with it his wood would be strengthened a great deal.

Now with that out the way, Madara waited to integrate with the final ring as he only had 5 minutes left and he wanted to have the full two hours of time to increase the ages of his rings and it would look weird if he suddenly had ranked up.

Madara didn't mind it much but he rather saves himself from an investigation by everyone with that out the way Madara went to bed as tomorrow was his new journey to the top.

3 weeks later

Madara 'It's been three weeks since leaving home I have already increased all my rings ages to 999 once I rank up I can make them into 1000-year-old'. During the three weeks of travel Madara managed to reach rank 17 only three more ranks and he will be able to level up the jade realm.

"Teacher, where are we headed now" Sasaki question, brought Madara out of his thoughts

Madara" true we have been traveling for three weeks now and you still haven't told us".

The only reason why Madara cares is that since all the traveling makes it hard to cultivate. Hearing his students

Silver looked at them questionably 'did I forget to tell them' Silver realized he forgot "uh we're headed to star dou forest well be staying there for a few years training for the master academy elite tournament".

Hearing his teacher Madara understood what his teacher wanted " that means we need five more teammates "

Silver grinned "that's right Madara well you and Sasaki train ill be scouting for your new team members "

Hearing Silvers plan Madara disagreed with Silver " that won't do ill scout for them they're going to be in my team I first need to approve of them and knowing you you'll pick any genius and that won't be any fun "

Madara had a very serious face. Silver hearing this was a little sad hearing his student's statement

"what do you mean fun " this time it was Sasaki who spoke.

Madara " tell me, Sasaki, what would be more impressive training someone who's an already a genius, or to train someone average that's capable of defeating a genius "

Sasaki " well, an average person defeating a genius, would certainly be impressive, but how's that fun "

Sasaki was still confused, Madara smirked: " the best part is training that average person and forge them into something greater to help them walk a path that they never could dream of " saying that Madara fell into thought about Obito even though he used him it was still fun training someone who went on to declare war on the world but he felt bad about what he had to do to the boy. With these thoughts, he started to remember Nagato as well.

Madara 'now that I could see it clearly I really was evil. Did I really fall that low to twist the minds of two kids, was it really worth it? No, it wasn't I turned into a monster something I won't become in this life'

Madara looked down at his hands and clenched them swearing he wouldn't waste this life for something so pointless again.

While Madara was lost in his thoughts, Sasaki looked at him and saw how hard he was clenching his fist deciding to do something she walked over and put her hand on his, and gave him a smile.

Sasaki "are you alright, Madara"?

Hearing Sasaki Madara regained his bearing " I'm fine just thinking so did you figure it out why it's fun".

3 minutes later

" oh I figured it out it's fun to train especially with friends "

Sasaki finally understanding to which Silver just shook his head ' she's obviously didn't understand what Madara's talking about ' Silver just moved on " with the speed we're going well be there in about 2 months " the two students just nodded as they made their way.

A month later the teacher and his students made there way and ended up in a small village for the night the trio didn't mind much it was just another stop but what they didn't know was that they would finally meet a new student.

"We will stop here for the night I try to find a place to stay, "

Silver said as he made his way through the village. Madara and Sasaki didn't see anything worth checking out just waited for their teacher to come back.

As they were waiting for Silver, Madara found something interesting with his sharingan activated he notice that the village was very lacking in the spirit department but as he didn't care for them he didn't bring it up.

After a few minutes, Sasaki started to talk about cultivating Madara was already rank 19 but he couldn't find a suitable ring, as for Sasaki she managed to reach rank 16 pretty fast compared to some.

While they were talking a person could be seen hiding behind a tree watching the duo talk and laugh Madara had already discovered it but he didn't sense any hostile intent so he just ignored it.

After about ten minutes Silver came back with bad news it seemed that the village didn't want any strangers staying in their village. Madara wasn't upset but Sasaki was upset and a little confused about why they didn't allow people staying in the village as Silver was about to suggest a plan he was interrupted by a soft voice

???" I-I know a place you can stay "

Silver a little surprised to hear someone turned to see a little girl about the same height as Sasaki appear out of nowhere.

"And you are, " Silver asked the girl who weakly replied

" I-I-I'm Arata Yui I live near the village if you need a place to stay I can help " after introducing herself, Arata repeated her last statement of knowing a place to stay.

Silver " what do you guys think "

Madara " seeing as she's been watching us since we got here I know she has no bad intentions so why not go with her " he stated plainly.

Both Sasaki and Arata were surprised for different reasons " you were watching us!"? " How did you know I was watching, "? both girls said at the same time, Madara hearing both of them like that couldn't help but laugh at how funny they looked.

Seeing him laughing at them both girls turned red and both got embarrassed. Madara seeing them stopped immediately and cleared his throat * ahem ahem *

Madara "It was quite easy to sense you with how intense you were watching "

Sasaki was even more embarrassed ' was it really that easy ' she said with a sigh, ' he's so weird '

As for Arata she had stars in her eyes, " you can really do that by just someone staring at you so cool, "

Hearing them go on Silver cleared his throat, and thanked Arata for helping them and asked her to lead the way. After a few minutes of walking the new group of four finally reached a small shack that had seen better days

" Welcome to my home, " Arata said with a smile.

Silver not expecting this quickly threw it to his students saying he'll go fetch dinner and disappearing right after.

And on that night a new member of the sages path was found.
