Abandonment

Don't leave me. I have a fear of being left behind. No one has abandoned me yet at the same time they did. They left me alone in the darkness as a kid, but that's okay because now I know how to deal with it alone. So leave me be, don't pry. I'm okay by myself. I do just fine. I know you are concerned and want to know more but I promise you I'm alright. So leave me in the darkness. That place is now my new home but don't leave me behind in this house that should feel like home.
