Alex's POV:

"Hey josh, when are those possible tennents coming in?" I said as I staired blankly at my phone, while laying on the couch. He sighed and rolled his shoulders back before starting "any minute now so maybe sit up and look decent?". I shot him a glance of pure despise as I followed his instructions. As I sat up a ring at the door caught my attention. I took a deep breath, shut my eyes, and turned my focus on the new arrivals.

Jamie's POV:

I stood at the door holding my breath. Alexis rang the doorbell with confidence and smiled. This could be are first apartment away from home. Not that my parents house wasn't far, but moving on with my best friend could potentially hold great benefits. A scrawny man answered the door "hello?.." he said, looking hopeful and anxious. I peered inside to notice a girl sitting on the couch smiling as well as giving a welcoming wave. I introduced myself and alexis with a big smile and sat down next to her.
