10: Barrier

I turned to look at what it was and it was a green snake, it was aiming for the rabbit that I caught but I wasn't about to allow my prey to be stolen right in front of me, I didn't care about sympathy anymore as long as I wanted to keep my prey, I had to fight for it.
I staggered a bit when I got up, the pain was unbearable, even for a grown adult it would have been intolerable, but I wasn't about to give up on myself, so I ripped a piece of my clothes and tied it to my leg, it felt a little bit better after that. The battle between me and the snake commenced, I tried to grab its tail with my hands, which was a stupid idea.

But it somehow worked and I was able to cut its neck using the knife. The blood gushed out of its body and onto my clothes, and I have to say, I was truly terrified. But my stomachs grumble was more terrifying hehe, so without a shred of sympathy left behind in me, I killed the rabbit and limped my way back to the shack while I carried it with my two little hands, which were covered with blood.
"So you came back huh? and you brought back a rabbit good job, now go skin it. Of course with my supervision."
And that's how I learned how to skin and cook an animal, I also learned about many types of herbs and spices that were good and the ones that were poisonous.
Anyway, after a few days, he helped me return back to town and I was found by my family, my father looked exhausted like he hadn't slept for days and my mother eyes were filled with tears. And that's where I learned how to survive in the wilderness I'll l never forget Kithe he's a mentor to me. Hehe, I wonder how his doing.

Sage said with a smile. And the area became silent once again with only the chomping sound of both Logia's and Sage'a mouth as they devoured the boar's meat and the chirping sound of the crickets.

"Logia! what's that noise!?!"
"It... it's coming from the barrier!! monsters are attacking from the outside!!"
"What!? isn't it a day too early for the arrival of the beasts!?"
The monsters continued, they struck the barrier to the point where a crack appeared.
"No way!! how did they find the barrier's weak point!?! ahh!! I'm sure it's his doing...Tray."
"What!?! Logia what did you just say!?! there was a weak point in the barrier and you didn't say anything!?!"
"Well, I didn't feel the need to tell you at the time!!"
"Ahhh!! you idiot!! let's just go to the edge of the barrier now!!"
As Sage and Logia swiftly make their way to the edge of the barrier. An orange screen emerged.

Both Sage and Logia arrived at the barrier and they were confronted by monsters, there was so much of them that they surrounded the entire barrier. And in front of the hoard of monsters, there was one of them which appeared in the form of a human being.
Its body was covered in dark blue scales and its eyes were the colour of blood. Sage stood there, his body was stiff, his heart was racing.
"Ugh!! Sage, I'm too weak right now to keep the barrier up any longer!!"
Logia collapsed to the ground. The barrier slowly began to deteriorate.
"It's okay Logia you've done a great job, take a rest."
Sage carried Logia and laid him down beside a tree trunk. He then turned towards the monsters.
"You! the blue scaly, are you the Leader!?"
Sage asked the monster in a mocking manner.
"Whoa!! who do we have here!? A human!? Logia really did a good job pulling them onto his side, hahaha!! but it doesn't matter, you are all going to perish anyway, now hand Logia over to me."
The monster smirked maliciously while he stretch his hand towards Sage. At that moment Sage took a look at its status which glowed in the colour orange.
