29 Chapter 24 - You can't say I didn't warn you
[MC's POV]
The day quickly passed by and all of us are currently at the Training area, although we had to drag Sans all the way down here because he just wouldn't wake up no matter how hard I slapped his skull. I don't really need to worry about Sans dying by simply slapping his skull since his HP problem has already been solved not too long ago.
Today, Androssi confronted Scáthach and challenged her into a duel just to prove me wrong about my previous statement yesterday. Chara who witnessed Androssi challenging Scáthach, couldn't help but laugh out loud which confused Androssi. She can't say that I didn't warn her.
Sans was... As usual... Still sleeping in the bench.
Scáthach walked towards me and sat beside me, we kissed each other and asked, "Do you have any idea about her reason for challenging me dear?" Scáthach asked, it seems that she was also clueless about her reasoning since in her time back then, warriors challenge each other in a duel with an appropriate reason for challenging the other warrior.
"Well, I only told her that you can defeat her easily so she said that, she will challenge you and win so she can prove that she is, without a doubt, undefeatable." I answered.
"Why did you tell her that?" Scáthach asked again.
"Well... It's not everytime you get to show off your lover to someone you know? Especially what they are capable of doing. Of course I didn't mention that you can't cook so you don't have to worry about that." I answered, to which she only smiled sweetly and stood up to go to the sparring arena.
[ Scáthach's POV ]
"Are you ready little girl?" Scáthach asked Androssi in a mocking tone.
"I'm already over 300 years old you know?" Androssi responded with a smirk.
"Doesn't make any difference when you're in front of a person who's thousands of years older than you," Scáthach said.
'System, Initiate Unseal Protocol: 20%' Scáthach said in her mind.
[ Overseer Scáthach Power Percentage is currently 5%, Continue Initiating Unseal Protocol? ]
'Yes, 5% is more than enough to defeat her but that'll take an hour or two, which is too long for my liking.'
[ Initiating Unseal Protocol... Unsealing successful, Overseer Scáthach Power Percentage is now 20% ]
"Zahard, you can start the countdown now." I called out to Zahard.
"Alright, If both sides are ready then at the count of 3, the fight will start." Zahard informed us.
"Okay." the Androssi girl nodded in confirmation.
"Okay... Here goes..." Zahard took a deep breath.
"3!!!!" Zahard shouted.
I didn't bother with the instant 3 seconds Zahard did and dashed towards the girl with a small horn.
I didn't give the girl anytime to react and counter attack as I delivered a blow unto her stomach, sending her stumbling across the arena.
I went to the girl, only to see her unconscious so I gave her to Zahard so he can heal her.
I'd rather make a quick work of a fight with an unworthy fellow.
[MC's POV]
"Well, she sure made a quick work out of that horned kid," Sans said, Sans was already awake since the match started.
"Well, Androssi can't say I didn't warn her after this, I'll head back upstairs so I could heal her Sans." I told Sans, which he nodded and immediately fell asleep again.
"HAHAHAHAHA! THAT GIRL GOT SENT STUMBLING ACROSS THE ARENA," Chara laughed out loud as she followed behind me.
"How about you challenge me next, little girl?" Scáthach held back Chara by grabbing her shoulders.
Chara got ticked off by what Scáthach just did and said, "Eh??? You really wanna go right now Old Hag?" Chara immediately summoned a knife.
I continued making my way upstairs and left Chara and Scáthach there, I don't want to get dragged in their fight after all.
I walked my way to Androssi's room and carefully laid her down the bed.
I used my Moonlight ring to heal her, I only need to wait for her to be conscious again and I can leave.
I sat on Androssi's bed and read a book about how to be an intelligent man
After several minutes, I began to slowly doze off and drift away to dreamland due to boredom as I couldn't understand anything from the book which was mostly composed of math questions.
(4 Hours Later)
I am currently in a complicated situation right now. Androssi and I, are currently staring at each other as we woke up at the same time. Both of us looked down at the same time, only to find that we were both hugging each other while we were sleeping.
Both of us looked at each other again, I chuckled at Androssi who went back to sleep while still hugging me.
Of course i did what all decent human beings with a working brain would do... I slept again while hugging her.
(2 hours later, 12:34 PM)
"Hmmm...." I slowly opened my eyes and stared at the person beside me, Androssi also woke up due to my movement and also looked at me
We were still hugging each other but I was still too drowsy so I smiled at Androssi and said, "How was the quick trip to the afterlife?"
Androssi chuckled and said, "She was too strong."
"Heh, I told you! Anyways, I'll go outside now if you aren't feeling unwell anymore, I still have to cook lunch for all of us." I told Androssi.
"Sure."
I stood up from Androssi's bed and processed what just happened earlier, "Huh... How did we end up hugging each other again?" I thought to myself, I shrugged as It's already been done and I don't really care, the same could be said for Androssi.
I then went outside the door, only to be greeted with the sight of Scáthach brandishing Gaébolg and Chara licking her knife, and they were doing it outside Androssi's room. Sans was also peeking out of his room, seemingly checking out the situation and stopped peeking shortly after.
"Well, hello there dear~ Last time I remember, I only told you to heal her. So why did you take hours to come out of her room?" Scáthach asked with a menacing smile.
I yawned and answered, "Right after I finished healing Androssi, I sat in her bed and began reading a book with the intention of waiting for her to wake up."
"You didn't need to wait for her to wake up right?" Scáthach asked.
"Well, I wasn't really sure that she won't have any further complications after the healing so I decided to wait just to be sure, especially with how hard you hit her in the stomach." I answered.
Gaébolg disappeared from Scáthach's hands and said, "Fair enough."
Chara also went back inside my room to play after I finished my explaination.
And just like that, the entire day flew by very quickly.
Meanwhile...
"How did Me and Zahard end up hugging each other again?"
