BUZZ..... BUZZZ…..

Her phone went off third time in a row.

She tiredly reached out her hand for the phone, her mind still half asleep and eyes still heavy to open, she answered the call.

"Miss Yang Xi, we are calling from Starlight entertainment to inform you that your audition for Enchancia Perfumes has been cancelled….."

The news finally made her fully awake.....

She hung up the phone and sighed….

She has expected this much;

It was already her fifth time her audition being cancelled. She doesn't even get the chance to audition let alone be selected for any role.

Ever since she signed the contract with the Starlight Entertainment she was just able to audition for some small roles and that too were not able to give her a break.

Being a rookie and nameless artiste under Starlight Entertainment she knew she can't get big hit in a day or two that easily but after this call she felt something was off, something was going on behind her back that she didn't knew of.

She brushed the idea of thinking too much into what it could be, when she looked at the time it was one in the afternoon. She slept for that long but still felt little hazy. Ever since that day she couldn't sleep nicely and her sleeping habits been disturbed just as much she was emotionally messed up.

She forced herself not to dwell in the past;

she glanced at the heavy curtains in her bedroom that blocked the sun-rays from making its way in. she preferred to keep the curtains closed as she hated bright sunlight disturbing her sleep but she still forced opened the curtains to reveal the glowing sunshine. Contrary to the rainy night the sky was beautifully clear and bright. It further lifted her mood a bit.

After stretching her sore muscles for a while, she got up and busied herself in her usual mundane routine.

After finishing brunch and other household chores she still had plenty of time as she has nothing specific to do, thanks to the frequent call off of her supposed auditions she doesn't even get the chance to show her talent or skills. One time the lead was already decided internally, sometimes it was the sponsors who raised the criteria for selections… for one or the other reasons she was rejected even before trying. The roles that she could land in the past six months were very few and that too were too insignificant for anyone to even notice her.

To kill the boredom she browsed through the television randomly, changing through the channels; the familiar figure caught her attention.

An elegant looking girl with beautiful smile on her face, she was there as a guest appearance on popular show.

She was none other than her best friend Han YuYan.
