Next-Day ...

I was in the line with lots of people standing before me and behind me chatting continuously.... these fucking Mortals why they always like to talk

Scarlett and Mira left me here with a bunch of idiots and they went in for their live Telecast

Gabriel and another guy I don't remember his name, instantly entered the building without waiting because they are higher rankers and only here to see if their ranks or powers are raised or not

if few more minutes I would've to stand here with them then I gonna lose my temper...

suddenly they asked the next batch of five people including me to enter the building. I excitedly went in with them but there were only four people are present including me, I ignored the numbers while walking.

after few minutes of walk, we came into the long hallway where other big Rankers standing and chatting with each other

I scanned the crowd and saw a Beautiful face talking in front of the camera. Scarlett ...

and of course that short girl with her

Gabriel and that other guy looked at me with a smile and raise Their thumbs ...

other guys standing with them looked at me with an unpleasant gaze, I sensed their hostility towards me.

I don't know why they are hostile towards me, did I do something wrong...

... but it's not bothering me the most. the thing is Scarlett first looks at me with raising her thumb but as others started gazing at me she quickly averted her gaze away and didn't even glance at me once ...

I might have an idea why she lets me in her house and why her friends helped me in the forest because they thought I killed that giant snake or I am someone stronger than them but today when they knew how useless I am she will throw me out and her friends will not gonna spare even a glance at me. but I can't blame them this is the rule of both Mortals and immortals

everyone gives respect to the strongest person, even me if I were in her place maybe I will also throw someone like me out without thinking twice ... fair enough, I just have to become powerful enough to crush my enemies...ignoring fact that I don't have any enemies...

" hey are you listening ..." a Red-haired guy puts his hands around my shoulder

he is taller than me with fair skin golden brown eyes and a muscular build and a stupid smile. I wondered why the hell peoples smile

" so you are also a fan of her " he leans on the wall beside him

I ignored him and turn at the other guy leaning on the wall and looking towards me, he quickly averts his gaze away

he is also wearing a black long hoodie and mask on his face only his white skin and dark purple eyes are visible to everyone not muscular like this red-haired guy but still, I have a bad feeling about him

" Are you ignoring me ... come on buddy. by the way, I am Tyson pleasure to meet you " he forwarded his hand to handshake, I just pretended that I didn't see that

" and you are ..." he puts his hands in his yellow hoodie

Middle of our uninteresting chat, one of the girls wearing a Black suit and skirt gestures to follow her.

She led us in the large room where only one crystal ball placed in the middle of the room

that girl turned to leave but before that, she said " one by one you guys have to place your hands on the crystal ball "

Everyone nodded in response but quickly got nervous after that girl leaves the place including me, I know what the results I will get yet my heart beating fast like I am about to get reprimanded by Father.

I examined the room and saw pictures of elements that humans able to possess fire, ice, thunder, and healer are the main powers that make humans unique but besides that, there are summoner and warrior human pictures placed on the walls

Heroes classified into two types one is a mage that posses fire, ice, thunder, healing, or summoning powers they are considered as Mage, mages are special in humans society

And another class is warriors they consider as one of the lower class and nobody cares about them because anyone can be a warrior even if you don't have power

but some Warriors able to reach a B or even A rank because of their hard work and physical strength ... there are some cases where warriors awakened their powers in the middle of dungeons

The heroes that achieved great accomplishment are considered Saviors of humanity

A few moments later we heard a bell and then one of the guys went to the crystal ball as he places both hands on the crystal ball in an instant it freezes.

someone shouted from out of nowhere " it's Mage ice Mage that guy is ..." but quickly recovered her loud tone and apologized to others

another voice came " you got potential. you are Rank D hero " as that guy heard this he passed out excitedly, few guards came and helped him to go out of the room

" What a pathetic weakling " A girl lets out frustratedly without looking back at that guy, I glanced at her but didn't notice her before

she is wearing a red long gown like she is in the middle of a feast, Blue long heirs curvey white figure, green eyes but the arrogant look on her face

" When did she came here? " Tyson asked leaning close to me. We never noticed her before nor we remember that there was a girl among us...

I just shrugged but that other guy previously standing close to us responded " when you guys closed your eyes "

we both look at him and then at that girl but Tyson jeered without waiting " I thought you are mute "

that guy gave a glare to Tyson like he is going to kill him. Tyson lets out a small nervous laugh and looks away. that guy removed his mask

I looked at his black short hair and kind of bored face

again bell rung and this time Tyson steps forward

after he placed his hands on the crystal firstly it didn't detect anything but after few minutes the fire came in the crystal ball

" Fire Mage but E ranked " the voice came again but disappointment expressing in the tone of that voice

Tyson turns back at us with his mouth fall open in surprise, he approached me " I didn't know that I am E ranked "

I am about to say something but that girl again lets out " another dumber " and peeks at me curiously but I avoided her gaze completely

there are lots of people on the living earth who things they are superiors over everyone... but in reality, they are just mortals bonded by Time

Bell rang this time and the voice announced my name and I started walking towards the crystal ball at a slower pace with one thought in my mind, No matter what I am Powerful than humans even I don't have my abilities

after standing in front of the Crystal ball, I immediately placed my hands on the ball ...
