I got home, but none of my family members were here except Lina and other pack mates.
“Lina, where are the others?” I asked
“Goddess, Raven! you scared me.” She said as she hugged me
“They went to war with the full moon pack.”
“I am going, lock the doors and keep safe” I ordered
“Bye” she whispered
I ran outside
Shifted into Ava
I took extra clothes because I can't go there in a torn dress.
I got there to see chaos.
I shifted back and changed before I stepped out, they could not sense me because they were too busy fighting.
If I was kidnapped… I would never count on them because look, instead of looking for me, they are here butting heads
I scanned around the battlefield
There are no died bodies but there are injured people and a lot of blood…
Now, how do I stop an ongoing war?

Ava said, “ENOUGH!” I commanded
They all stopped and looked at me.
“Raven!” At this point, I don't care if they were worried
“What is going on here?"
“We thought they kidnapped you, so we…” Kaden couldn't finish
“So you decided to jump into war, literally
Instead of looking for me and investigating my disappearance, you go fight with a pack.” They all shrink at my tone
“Go home.” They instantly left
The injured people were helped by the ones who are still uninjured
The only people left are: Lucas, My dad, Alpha, Victoria, Leo, and Kaden
“I thought I trained my Warriors better, and I understand if this was a mistake, or you ordered them into war but Victoria, Leo, and Kaden I expected better from you … I practically raised you 3”
“You really let me down” I said as I pointed at those three
Yeah, I did raise them because for about 3 years Alpha Tom and my dad were in the 'I lost my mate' stage
Tom and my dad were on complete lockdown. So, I had to women up and raise the younger ones
“Sorry” they mumbled as they left
I looked at the alpha and beta.
“Really, you go to war and take my warriors to a fake and stupid Battle without the head Warrior's approval.” I said as calmly as I can
“Sorry” for these grown men to apologize it means they know they're wrong
“Ok, go home I'll talk to you later”
It is dark and too early for this
As they left I heard someone laugh
I took in a deep breath and turned around.
Lucas.
He was laughing

“What the fuck are you laughing at?”
“You-literally- control- them- and- they - follow- you-, you even control the pack” He laughed out
But sobered up at the end
I can't do this now…
“Listen up stultus (idiot), if I had the time for you, I would deal with you, but now I have things to do and people to kill” I said, I just want to rest. It has been a long day
He immediately went emotionless
He just noticed that I am hurt.
“Bye. bye.”
“Raven, Wait.” He said then I turned towards him
“What do you want? I am tired, hurt and hungry. I just want to go home” I looked up at him
“Raven, why don't you come inside. I will treat you a snack while I take care of you wounds” He proposed
“Not a chance. I do not-” I tried to protest
“It is either that or my wolf will take over... Raven, do not test me ” He growled
If he allows his wolf to come out, Ava will come out and I do not want that now
“Okay” I shrugged
“Let's us head inside, It is getting late” He smiled
He showed me his house and we are in the kitchen now
I tried to sit on the counter but I winced and hissed in pain
I felt Lucas pick me up and place me on the counter
I muttered a small thanks
“Welcome, let me go get the first aid kit” He looked at me
“It is fine. My wound have healed, they are just sore” I told him
“But there is still blood on you and is making me angry. Who did this to you?” He growled

“Rouges, but that does not matter. I am still hungry” I answered
“Ok. Let me make something”
I watched him cook and place food in front of me
I looked at the plate.
“Well, eat up” He laughed
I took a taste and it was nice,
“What is this?” I asked him
“Italian soup” He smiled
He is smiling a lot, today
“It tastes nice”
I finished it then got up
“I enjoyed this but I have to go” I announced
“No.” He stated
“What do you mean by 'No'?” I questioned him while getting a bit angry
“It is late now, why don't you stay over for the night” He suggested
“No. I already overstayed” I walked passed his
“No. It is not safe”
He pulled me into his rock-hard chest
That was the last string
I pulled myself out of his hold. I have been thinking about this
“I, Raven Elisa Cross reject-” I was disrupted when I felt his soft lips on mine.
I pushed him off
“You can't just-” I shouted out but his lips met mine once again
And one thing lead to another
He marked me
And then it leads to us mating…
What was I thinking?
Probably I wasn't even thinking at all…
