A mysterious clock sits on my desk,
Silently staring at me.
It sits idle on my table,
Watching something I can't see.
I removed it's battery a long time ago,
But I feel it moving on it's own.
At night, when I glance at it,
I feel, I am not alone.
The clock has a sinister glare,
One that I could feel from the start.
I feel it turning on and off,
And that freaks my heart.
No-one believes me,
But I feel the dark energy inside.
Only I can feel it growing stronger,
With each tide.
