She stared at him and then laughed. “Yeah, okay. Yes, I love you. I love you both,” and her expression melted into tears. Vice slid the tissue box over to her and she sobbed harder. Victor folded his arms around her and pressed his lips to her forehead.
“We love you too,” he said. “We are totally nuts about you, Mira. We want to spend the rest of our lives with you. That is what we are talking about, what we really want to say. We want to start planning how we are going to spend the rest of our lives together.”
Vice joined them in a three-way hug. “Well, we should start by looking for another house. I will contact an agent tomorrow.”
They left Mirage unpacking and went out into the studio to playback some of the tracks they had made during the tour, the studio time snatched usually by sacrificing sleep, around Mirage’s gruelling schedule. Vice’s phone rang and Victor paused the track so that he could answer.
“Hi Aaron,” Vice said.
