Audition (Part 3)

Anderson and Nicole had been very close during their childhood.

Nicole remembered in the past, she would constantly run to him calling out sweetly, "Big brother Andy!" He would then smile back at her and pamper her, making her feel like the luckiest girl alive. But who could have guessed that he would betray her in the end?

If Amber had not warned her, and she had gone into the audition unprepared, she wouldn't have been able to keep her emotions in check this would have most likely cost her the role.

Even now, her hands were slightly clenched at the thought of facing him. If she had seen him without any preparation, the results would have been disastrous.

She really owed Amber one for this.

Amber had no idea how valuable her little warning was to Nicole. Just because of this, Nicole's impression of her had risen to new standards. Previously, Nicole might have helped Amber simply to create more obstacles for her sister, and to prevent her sister from always getting her way, but now, Nicole had a new founded appreciation for Amber.

Though Amber was unaware of this now, her actions today would be the reason she would be able to get close to Nicole and create a legend.

Nicole soon reached the room where the auditions where held.

Knocking on the door she soon enters. The minute she entered she registered five faces. There were four judges; three men and one woman. Also, there was an eight-year-old girl there, dressed in a white top and skirt, she looked innocent and cute. Hopefully, she wouldn't be a burden to Nicole.

What was surprising was that in between these four judges there was an empty seat with a camera placed on the table.

Nicole had been bewildered the first she saw it in her last life. She soon realized that that was probably meant for the director and the camera was probably streaming all their actions live to the director.

As the videos in the waiting room didn't show the directors or include sound for the sake of fairness she had no idea who was at the audition.

She was slightly disappointed to not meet the director again in this life. Still, she didn't let it show on her face as she greets the judges before silently observing the people in the room.

As Nicole was observing the judges they were also observing her.

In this line of work, they had seen many beautiful stars but, Nicole would still rank at the top of them. She was the living proof that looks could cause the downfall of a nation.

Somewhere in a hotel room, a man was watching the image of the girl as she stared into the camera; he slowly narrowed his eyes, a smile forming on his otherwise cold face.

With that mole under his eyes that smile was devilishly handsome and could incapacitate any girl who looked at him right now.

Back at the audition, the judges were very pleased with Nicole especially the woman who was the head of the designer for the brand. She felt Nicole fit the image of her product perfectly and wanted to sign her there and then but, she knew this was not a decision she could make alone. Still, she had made up her mind that even if Nicole was just a flower case that was pretty on the outside but had no substance, she would still fight for her to get chosen. Even if the girl just stood there wearing her design it would be perfect.

The head designer didn't realize that she wasn't the only one who had this thought. All the judges felt that this girl was the perfect model for their product but they all knew that the one who held the real decision-making power was the director behind the lens.

They spent a lot of effort and connections to get this director and they couldn't very well let all of that go to waste. They could only pray that the girl could live up to the director's expectations.
