The proposal

"Hey Rose," I said cheerfully. "Hey Sky," she responded. "Are you okay," I said hesitantly. "Yes I'm just hoping nothing bad happens during the ball tonight," she said calmly. "Skylar you should probably know that Nova and Malory will be at the ball again," she said hesitantly. "I'll do my best to contain myself tonight," I said softly.

She smiled and hugged me. "Thank you for always being there for me," Rose said tearfully. As I hugged her back I felt a sensation of comfort. "Thank you for being my friend," I said feeling the tears fall down my face. As she stopped hugging me she wiped the tears from my face and smiled.

"Let's throw a ball," Rose said happily. I nodded my head and went back to my room. As I watched from my window the guest started arriving I noticed Leo was standing uncomfortably distant from Nova. I thought he was doing this to stop any issues from occurring. However, I just brushed the feeling off.

As Rose and I entered the ball room Amelia ran up to Rose giving her a hug and kissing her. As I stared happily at them I wondered why me and Leo couldn't be like that. As I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned my head to see Nova glaring at me. "Hello Nova," I said annoyed. "Hello Skylar," she said spitefully. "How may I help you Nova," I replied. "Not by much other than the fact you can kiss your wedding day goodbye," she said cheerfully. "What," I said shocked.

"Well Leo's mom had him make a wedding day for me and him before yours," she said with a smirk on her face. I stood there stunned at what she said. "Nova if you want him so much you can have him," I said tearfully. "Glad you know your place elf," she said rudely. I nodded my head and walked away as Leo walked up to me I just ignored him.

"Rose I'll be back before you propose to Amelia," I said tearfully. Rose looked puzzled so she went to ask Leo but he was just as confused as she was.

As Skylar sat in her room crying she heard Clover appear behind her. Clover couldn't tell why she was upset but she still couldn't help but feel bad for her. As Clover gave Skylar a hug she saw how she was falling to pieces.

Clover couldn't help but she knew she needed to find out who made her cry.

"Leo go see why your soon to be wife is crying" Clover said rudely. Leo stood there shocked and glared at Nova. Meanwhile Rose wasn't paying attention to the situation because she was fearing for if he proposal would go right.

As Skylar waited inside of her room she wondered what would happen if she just didn't show up to the ball. Meanwhile Lea was Searching the castle desperately looking for Skylar. Ask Skyler cried in her room she opened up the window to her balcony and sat on the edge, right when she was about to jump Leo grabbed her wrist and pulled her back onto the balcony. As she fell into his arms he sighed.

She could hear his heartbeat as he held her tightly. She could feel tears forming in her eyes and he held her. "What happened," he said calmly. "You're getting married to nova," Skylar said sobbingly. Leo patted her head and gave her a kiss. "Don't worry Skylar I'm not marrying anyone else but you," he said calmly. Skylar started sobbing even harder after she heard that. "Do you wanna go to the safe house," Leo suggested. Skylar shook her head and continued to cry.

As Leo picked up Skylar she could see him summoning a portal. Meanwhile she tried to fight her way out of his grip, so that was she could stay at the castle with Rose. "Stop fighting me," Leo said calmly. Skylar sighed and gave up. As her body went numb she saw how Leo was using his powers on her. "Leo what are you doing to me," Skylar said frantically. Leo shrugged his shoulders and arrived at the safe house. Skylar was begging Leo to take her back but he wouldn't budge.

"Skylar I'll take you back if you tell me who made you cry," Leo said calmly. Skylar bit her lip and sighed. "It was Nova," Skylar said hesitantly. Leo nodded his head and teleported back to the castle. "Sky cheer up," he said softly. As Leo handed Skylar his hand she grabbed it like something bad would happen if she didn't. As Leo and Nova made eye contact Nova could sense that she messed up.

Leo ignored Nova and continued to walk with Skylar. Meanwhile Nova was scared for her life because she figured out that Skylar had told Leo what she said.

As the ball continued the guest were served diner after the dance. Amelia had gotten better at dancing meanwhile it was Leo and Skylar who caught the crowd's attention. The way the danced together made it seem like a fairytale. Skylar was graceful as Leo was gentle. The crowd watched the couple dance so flawlessly it almost seemed unreal.

When the dance concluded Rose and Amelia were there at the dining table to give a speech and encouraged the guest to enjoy the meal made by the chefs.

(With Rose and Amelia.) As I finished the dinner speech I waited for all the guest to get food before I sat down. We were served a side salad, salmon, and wine. The guest enjoyed the meal and so did Amelia. "Hey Amelia can you come here," I said grabbing her hand. I got onto the platform in room and got down on my knee. "Amelia, will you marry me," I said calmly. As I had the ring in a box and in my hand I waited for an answer for a while.

When I looked back up at Amelia she had tears coming down and she looked stunned. "Rose, are you serious," she said hesitantly. In the voice she said it my smile disappeared and I could feel my heart break. As she looked at the ring in my hand a smile appeared on her face. "Yes I will," she said happily. As I put the ring on her finger I bursted with joy and kissed her. She kissed me back like never before, after months of trying to do this I was finally able to ask her to be my wife. As the guest cheered and clapped the mages were looking mad.

One of them shrugged and continued clapping. Lumia cheered with the crowd meanwhile the others just say back and looked mad.

As the first mage signaled to the second mage to alert the high court of Amelia's engagement the rest of them were on their way out of the castle. As the ball ended Amelia and rose were now engaged and nearly everyone was happy. However for Skylar something else happened…
