"Harp for Beginners" might still be a bit too difficult for Jiang Lu.
So he found another book, "Children's Harp for Beginners."
With this one, there was a lot less intricate music theory involved.
In its place, there were simply some cute illustrations marked with chord positions and corresponding notes.
The aim was to allow children to quickly understand basic harp techniques through their interest in new things.
This indeed was a great help. Jiang Lu soon figured out the pitch of each string by slowly comparing and exploring them and then began to experiment with music pieces that didn't involve so many strings.
But it's important to know that a classical guitar has only six strings and eighteen frets; mastering it requires a lot of practice over time.
