Afterword

Hi,

Thank you very much for reading this story till the end. Usually, I don't think it's a good practice for an author to explain the ending of a story, but some of the people that read this story before asked what will happen in the next chapter. 

The short answer is - there can be no next chapter. The MC died in the end. 

A bit longer explanation of what happened here is - and this will be a spoiler for those who do not wish to hear author's direct explanation of a story - the 'Bliss' was that he died with pain in his heart, that he now had something he valued and treasured in his life, that his death had a meaning because he was actually losing something and bringing an end to something that was meaningful, whereas in his previous attempt he literally had nothing to lose and there was no meaning to his death. Miya gave him joy and meaning of life and hence his death became meaningful, and the MC realizes that being able to feel pain was a bliss and it was now meaningful for him to die. 

Now, as for sequel - technically there can be no sequel to the MC and Miya's story here. But I came up with a rather good idea on how I can turn this into an interesting series. It will take a bit of time because I'm quite tied up with serializing my first contracted story "My Lady and I", but I will eventually get around to writing further chapters on this (more like new volumes than extension of the current chapters). So keep this in your collection so you will get the update notice when the new chapters come.
