The sun was about to set as two silhouettes could be seen over the horizon. The two were surrounded by verdant greens, there was a small enclosure with different animals divided by small fences.

They were at the petting zoo sections.

They spent the whole day wandering around the zoo and chatting about their lives while they were away from one another, only stopping to eat some lunch outside the car where William prepared a simple packed lunch.

Mia had a beautiful smile on her face as she was feeding the sheep. There were wide arrays of animals that could be fed in the enclosure. One by one they went to the different animals and Mia could not hide her joy.

The animals were all docile as they were used to people, especially the kids who visited as their school activity.

"Let's head to the last place," William said.

Mia faced William when she heard this. She was squatting at the ground while petting a miniature pig. They were simply adorable to look at especially when they have not fully matured.

"The sun is about to set and we need to go soon but there's one more place we should visit." William smiled and waited for Mia to stand up. He held his hand out as a gesture to help Mia. Mia accepted his hand as she stood up and dusted the dirt on her dress.

William laughed at Mia's action as her dress was partly soiled due to squatting. He wanted to help, but he was afraid that might cause a misunderstanding, so he let it be. They walked at the pathway, it was a simple walkway, stones that were connected with one another to accentuate the landscape.

At the same time, the street lamps started to brighten the way as the sky started to dim.

Walking for 10 minutes they reached the destination. There was a small cottage, it was very similar to the enclosure of the guinea pigs. However, there were no children or people inside the enclosure. They approached as William opened the fence, there were no locks, only a small latch that could easily remove by lifting.

The surrounding was well lit. Mia did not have any difficulties to see the cute and fluffy animals inside the cottage. Some of were hoping around energetically. Mia noticed some of them twitching their ears, maybe they were used to people approaching them which is why their reactions were as such.

William took a bucket that was hanging on a wall and gave it to Mia.

Mia looked at the bucket which was half filled with feeds. She smiled at William as she accepted the feeds and started giving them to the rabbits. Once the pellet fell on the ground, the rabbits started surrounding Mia's foot.

William was looking at the side as if waiting for something.

Mia was pre-occupied feeding the rabbits with an adorable smile on her face. She started to squat to pet the rabbits surrounding her feet.

Once more, she took a hand full of pellets and scattered them near her feet. More and more rabbits approached her which made her eyes to sparkle in delight.

Not much time has passed but the pellets in her bucket were almost empty. However, it seems that William was still waiting for something as he continued to gaze at the cottage with anticipation.

"Mia, why don't you try shaking the bucket with the pellets inside. Maybe some of the rabbits in the cottage are still hiding, they might go out of their hiding place if you do so." William suggested and Mia did not question this as she thought she'd like to see the other rabbits. As she did so, the sound attracted more rabbits as they hopped along approaching her.

The cottage was almost empty when two rabbits could be seen at the doorstep of the cottage. Mia's eyes widened in surprise seeing the two rabbits.

How could she not be as she saw their appearance?

The two were dressed the same way the two rabbit stuff animals that William gave her. The pair of rabbits slowly approached her feet and she can now see the details.

It was as if they were exact replicas of her stuff animals. She could not help herself but look at William. However, before she could ask her question.

Sfx *shiiiiiiing crackle crackle*

A sound of a small explosion can be heard from afar followed, more smaller explosion one after another. She looked at the sudden brightening of the sky as there was a huge array of colorful fireworks covering the vast sky like flowers blooming at springtime. She stood up and gazed at the sky that started to turn red and orange, with the addition of the fireworks, it was beautiful.

She stood up next to William as they both appreciated the fireworks display until the sky was covered in darkness.

Mia who felt waves of emotions on her chest felt the warm person beside her. She gazed upon his face and slowly reached for his hand.

She held it tight and did not let go as she continued to stare at the night sky and the fireworks display.
