"It's already late, let's head back," Cherish Turner whispered before turning and walking towards the amusement park's exit. He took steady strides following behind her. They left the water palace and walked out of the amusement park, neither of them saying a word. Suddenly, he caught up to her in a few large steps, gripping her small hand and leading her to the parking lot.
Cherish shook her hand, but couldn't break free.
After getting in the car, Cherish hugged her backpack tightly, gazing out the window without looking at him. At this moment, she didn't know what was going on inside her heart.
But the car didn't start. Cherish Turner couldn't help but look back and ask hesitantly, "Why aren't you starting the car?"
