Chapter 218: Lewis is Missing 3

Lewis made his way out of the hotel. Due to it being late at night, there weren't many people around.

He didn't have any particular destination in mind. He just wanted to give the adults a good scare. So Lewis walked aimlessly on his own. Initially, he didn't plan on going far, spotting a KFC restaurant open 24 hours around the corner of the hotel. The place was warm and looked pretty inviting. Once inside, just as he expected, it wasn't crowded. Only one or two people waiting for a cab or those who were working the late-shift could be seen resting here.

When Lewis left, he forgot to bring any money, and he couldn't help but salivate at the sight of the delicious food on display.

He chose a spot by the window, planning to take a nap there. Maybe tomorrow, he thought, he might see his dad and Auntie Cherish come looking for him. With that in mind, he bore his hunger, restraining himself from drooling over the appetizing food.
