Chapter 13- Forced Contract

"Back off! This is last warning. Did you not listen me" Helix spoke with blood thirsty eyes as he completely ignored the Kevin.

"Are you a lord from the alliance" a soldier asked Kevin ignoring the balant threat of Helix as they didn't believe his poweress.

"No neither i am from alliance nor the Union", Kevin spoke without any falsehood.

"What shall we do captain? Opposition has both a lord, a maze and an unknown person.

They say lords can take on 100 soldiers alone" soldier among them asked the head soldier.

"They are just baseless rumours. I was promised a crest from our lord if we succeed here and once i have crest, even i have a chance of becoming a Lord", head soldier told them confidently.

"Crest are for protecting the people from the Abyss. If the crest didn't fell on the hand of bad intentions people like you, there will be no meaning less wars". Kevin spoke righteously as he completely forget that word doesnot revolve around him.

where ever there is greed and envy between people there's always will be war, it's human nature you can't stop it even intentionally or unintentionally.

"Enough of your endless chit chat . I have heard before you want my sword right then take it", helix said with a smirk.

Instantly helix moved forward with an incredible speed and appeared directly infront of the head soldier and hit him in the armor which instantly shattered at the contact and his fist burried deep in his gut.

"Aughh"

The head soldier fell down with the sheer force of a single punch as blood oozed from his gut.

Helix unsheathed his sparkly sword and inserted it in his gut and started rotating it.

"Aaaaahhhh...." Head captain's horondous cry came at helix torture and this chilled and dried the throats of all the people present here.

"Do you still want this sword?" Helix asked the head soldier.

Nearby soldiers were still froze in shock.

"Please let me die" Head soldier begged helix as he can't even have strength to speak.

Then, helix grabbed back the sword from his gut and mercilessly cut his all of the limbs of head soldier as blood splattered on the Helix's face and clothes as head soldier body became lifeless.

Helix now exactly look like just a demon thirsty for blood.

But surprisingly, for the relief of everyone helix used water clean spell and all the dust and blood fall down from his clothes and outer body on the ground.

A near by soldier had wet his pants in fright as he thought why did we provoked this demon today unknowingly.

"Please my lord, spare us" the nearby soldiers started prostating themselves with tears on their horrified faces.

"I will if you told me which lord send you here" Helix face instantly changed of a good person as he kindly told them.

If the soldiers has not seen his previous torture they may have not believed it.

"Lord Mest Meadrich send us my lord" The soldiers told helix without any falsehood.

"Fuck off" Helix coldly orderd without chage in expression.

The soldiers instantly ran away without even once looking back to Cecilia.

Nearly all of the people like Cecilia were still in shock from these sudden turn of events.

"Why did you torture him" Kevin asked angirly about the head soldier as he came back from the shock.

"Well i don't like somone eying my possession be it an object or any person."

Helix replied without even looking at Kevin's face as it didn't matter much to him.

"Now what was we discussing before, yes I just want to contract with a mage with high potential so, can you contract with me" Helix said to Cecilia facing her face directly.

"N..No i will not" Cecilia answered as she still appear to have an horrified face clearly not recovered from that torturous scene.

"Then i will just have to force you" helix said as he gripped his sword again.

Kevin showed his left hand as a small lord crest glowed and he sword was embued with a blue cloured energy and change to a light saber as he spoke,

"You shouldn't harm an innocent person, retreat at once or else i will—" Kevin tried to appear heroicly in this scene but his voice was cut short as Helix put his sword on his neck.

"Don't lecture to a person who has higher power than you, understand, this is my free tip to a fool like you who still doesn't even understand and try to know, how the world works?" Helix told him and neck choped him with his hand.

"A crest huh. The youth appears to be lord but at that power level he can't even call himself a Knight." Cecilia noticed Kevin's crest when he showed this time.

Kevin immidiately became unconscious and fell on the ground with a 'thudd' sound.

"Shuak"

Helix, immidiately side stepped as a knife passed through that place where he was standing.

"Interesting" helix said as he put back the sword in his scabbard and prepared to fight Ervin.

Ervin kept attacking with a new surge of power as he physically enhance himself.

Helix dogged each and every move like a professional fighter.

Now helix attacked him with his sword as Ervin crossed his twin dagger and handles full burnt of his force but kept resisting.

But Ervin's dagger can't able to handle the pressure and broke down and Helix directly didn't miss this opportunity and hit him in the face.

Suddenly a fireball and wind spell hit him in the back but helix stopped the spell in the neck breath of time by forming a mana shield towards his back.

The suprise attack was launched by Cecilia whose poweress was enough to broke his shield.

Helix then kept beating Ervin like a punching bag as he want to finish this battle quickly, Ervin's face became puffed as his body flew back several meters backward and hit in a rock.

Obviously helix wasn't using his full power as not to harm his life.

Afterwards, helix neck chopped him with his hand as he became unconscious and helix put knife in his neck and called Cecilia.

"Cecilia so now do you agree with the contract or not" helix said threatening her with the Ervin's life on the line.

"Wait, i agee to make a contract to you but so you know i am already committed to someone, and please leave Ervin alive." Cecilia agreed to make the contract.

"Very well you should prepare yourself and make the contract, i didn't harm him with life threatening attacks so don't worry dear", Helix also agreed to he request.

"Your name and your crest please" Cecilia asked to show him his name and crest.

"My name is Helix Cloud" Helix told her as he said showing his crest of Knight Rank.

Cecilia grabbed his hands and recited-

"I Cecilia Evelyn hereby enter into contract of the crest of knight Helix Cloud and swear eternal aligance to him". Cecilia bowed to him with one leg on her knees like a knight position at the middle of the contract.

"From here on I am your contract mage for eternity", Cecilia spoke with unhappiness on her beautiful face.

"We will head towards the Mest Meadrich's castle for breaking the treaty after dealing with this 'Kevin' guy" Helix told Cecilia.

Now then....it's time for your punishment.
