Slime nation

"Divinity!"

The place lit up and I surveyed for a good ten seconds, but getting nothing. 

No visible cores.

Sigh. 

"Deathblow! Clatter!"

Yeah but-

It wasn't working and the damn thing was ready to devour me whole. 

I about to use my damn death skill but-

'I can't use it!?'

It was greyed out and… yeah….

"Eradicate!"

A clock of sorts appeared behind me- every hand ticking forward- from 12-

And with every step- it just got louder. 

"WOAHH!!!" Jumping four steps back, I somehow dodged an incoming swipe. 

Oddly this thing wasn't launching projectiles at me, rather it was just trying to eat me for some reason. 

Come to think of it- 

The more cores I absorbed, the more these things wanted to eat me throughout the day.

It couldn't have been a coincidence, right?
