Chapter 15 - Leviathan [3]

A few minutes had already passed since the battle began and almost half of the soldiers have already died and the same goes for the sea monsters too.

At the moment Lax was watching the captain fight a shark with the body of a human, the shark like man was holding no weapons and he was fighting the captain with just using his fist that was covered with hardened black scales.

The shark like man didn't last long as the captain was much stronger than him and coupled with arrows sent flying to him from who knows where it came from he was defeated and killed just a few minutes later.

Of course Lax was the one sending the arrows flying at the shark man. He was using conceal to hide himself and kept moving around so the shark won't be able to notice were the arrows will come from as he fought the captain.

After the captain defeated the shark man the humans gained advantage and their morale increased and they moved forward as the captain lead them.

The captain fought the leaders and strong ones of the enemy and kept killing them until the Leviathan finally interfered.

Her ocean blue hair fluttered in the wind as she landed on the ground and with her beautiful face and sexy and curvy body with scales that covered only the important parts many men would have been looking at her with desire if it weren't for the fact that their eyes right now were only filled with killing intent as they looked at the Leviathan.

"How pathetic. You guys are losing to humans that are weaker than you, though I can't really blame you as these weak humans rely on is their numbers. Heh~" She mocked then looked at the humans after finishing her words.

Hearing that the humans didn't get angry as they already accepted that fact long ago so the Leviathan's provocation at them was useless.

At that moment all of them looked at each other and then nodded their heads.

They took a deep breath and...

"RESTRAIN HER!"

...they shouted as they moved restrain the Leviathan along with the captain.

Though they weren't able to get close to the Leviathan the captain was able to do so then he released all his energy to tightly hold the Leviathan.

"What are you doing? Are you perhaps hoping that those pathetic creatures will be able to kill me while you hold me?" She questioned while looking at the captain with a mocking expression.

However the captain ignored her question and shouted.

"LAX!"

He shouted and hearing that the Leviathan narrowed her eyes as she finally noticed something wrong but she was too late as she heard crackling sounds from above her head.

A few moments ago just after the Leviathan arrived Lax concealed himself and went near the two armies that stopped moving.

He then took out the lightning orb as he waited for the captain to restrain the Leviathan.

And just a few moments later he heard the captain's shout.

"LAX!"

Lax then activated the lightning orb without hesitation and the clouds in the sky turned dark and crackling sounds could be heard then the whole area was covered in a bright light as the lightning struck the Leviathan head on.

*CRicccck*

*KA-DUUUM*

An explosion was heard as the lightning struck and everyone near the area was blown away by the shockwave as they coughed up blood.

Even their internal organs were damage just by the shockwave it wasn't surprising if the Leviathan ended up dead by this.

But for Lax he wasn't expecting this to happen as the lightning attack was stronger than imagined. It was just...

"That strong?" Lax questioned in his head as he never expected it to be that strong and luckily he was able to protect his body with energy before the lightning struck.

He got up and went to where the lightning struck and there he saw the Leviathan's body that was now black like a fish you left cooking on the frying pan and forgot about.

She was still alive but compared to the captain that was incinerated to nothingness her body was still intact as she was able to use a little bit of energy to protect her body.

She was at death's door but she was still able to use energy to cover her body.

"As expected of a rank 7." Lax thought as he moved towards the Leviathan.

Even though the Leviathan was at death's door her energy still wasn't something to scuff at.

So Lax took out his sword and infused it with half of his energy then he swung his sword at the Leviathan's neck.

*Crack*

The energy that covered the Leviathan's neck cracked and then shattered as it collided with Lax's sword.

The sword then hit her neck as it passed through slicing off her head.

The Leviathan was finally dead as blue blood gushed out from her neck but as expected Lax moved away from her as to not get blood on him.

He then looked around and found himself surrounded by sea monsters that were looking at him with rage and hatred as they saw him beheading their Queen.

"KILL HIM!"

One of them screamed and dashed towards Lax while holding his trident his hands as the others followed.

The sea monster's raged as they ran to kill him but Lax was looking at them with a smile on his face.

"Well, I guess this is the best time to test that out."

He muttered and then the whole area around him went silent as was shrouded in darkness.

The sea monsters stopped moving they were confused as the whole world around them suddenly turned black.

But in that silent and black world Lax's voice resounded.

"Sword Domain."

"Tsumibito no hakai."
