I wake up in a old tent by the sound of people I hear outside talking. "Lilly regardless if she is your sister or not. She is one of them Lilly and you set her in the middle of a safe camp. She was trained and brainwashed by them. I want you to take her back to where she was." A elder man's voice boomed threw my aching head. "But master Hiru she had flashbacks on the way here. My sister is still in that shell. It was not her fault she became this way. She saved me when we were children and our village was being burned to the ground. She hid me away so they could not find me. Sh-" Lilly was cut off by the old man."SHE IS GONE LILLY WAKE UP YOU STUPID CHILD! THAT WAS HER LAST ACT OF LOVE AS A HUMAN BEFORE, THEY GOT THEIR CLAWS INTO HER! NOW YOU WILL DO AS I SAY GOT IT PATHETIC GIRL!" The elder yells making my blood boil. Without thinking I cuts threw the tent fabric of the tent. I was on the man blade to his throat. "You shall not refer to me as one of them. I don't enjoy killing never did. I now know why I never truly let go. He is right though Lilly saving you was at the time , my last human act. I will do this one more time Lilly ,I need you to stay away from me. I will say I killed you and find a girl that looks similar and kill her. The next time we meet I can not say it will end the same. I am happy you are alive but keep your head down." I said before slitting the mans throat running off to the forest. I hear Lilly calling after me but it unfortunately has to be this way.

It's been a few weeks since then, I killed a farm girl and said it was Lilly. The doll keeper was pleased and made me second in command. The highest a doll can go in rank before the elite ranks. I should be excited about this however, I find myself at night wondering about her. "Why does this feel so wrong?" I asked myself not realizing someone was behind me.

"42 the keeper wants to see you" a voice came behind me. I look over my shoulder away from knitting. "Tell her I will be there soon." I said before knitting again. "Now 42." The maid demands forgetting her place. I throw a knitting needle  jabbing her eye. "I  am second in command ,so it is I who does the demanding you useless bitch." I growl at the maid cowaring in fear. I am no fool I too am replaceable, that doesn't mean I won't put up a fight. The girls here out number the doll keeper and her black dolls. The black dolls are the secret handful that take on more gruesome missions. They are the real monsters here and I highly doubt they know what humanity is anymore. That is the next promotion in the ranks for me. I don't want to be one of them but I have no choice. It is up to the keeper and her family. As I stated before I am no one of importance and never will be. Not wanting to waist any more time on the pathetic welp on the floor, I headed out to see what my master wanted. Walking into the doll keep's office I kneel and greet her. "Thank you for coming 42. I know you are still recovering from your last mission. Let me introduce you to my Aunt Agatha. You are to be her escort to the Rukel ball. She is not safe from the radicals. Given the state of the many camps found, they are growing in size. The Sevron have been dispatched to handle this quietly. Let's hope the lazy boards do thier job this time, I don't appreciate cleaning up thier mess." My master said motioning her hand so , I could look over at the snob queen bitch. She had blonde hair that spilled over her shoulders, green eyes, red lips, pale skin. She was in a black cocktail dress that was way to short, for a woman I believe to be in her sixties. She dresses like a woman in her twenties, it's disgraceful and I hope she gets a wake-up call soon."Natalie dear why are you sending me to a party with a monster?" She said with a tone equally as snobby as her looks. "Lady Agatha if this is what my master thinks my guarding you is a good idea, then it is not your place to question. It is your place to thank her because no one messes with a doll." I said getting in her face. "As you can see 42 is my favorite doll, and the most loyal.She is right for the job Agatha that is final." She said her face blank but in her eyes I see a killer." Very well Natalie dear if this savage is your choice, then 42 pack your bags we leave in a few hours." She said pushing me aside leaving the room. "42 my Aunt Agatha is a known radical sympathizer. I suspect none of them are after her like she claims. 42 my aunt is a traitor to the country and with a heavy heart, I want you to silence her anyway you wish. 42 I know the tasks you are given are sick but it is why you exist. I know you can do this. I wish I could make you a member of my family but it is impossible. Be careful out there come home safe my doll." She said taking my face in her hands. Her face turns to cold anger. "Do not fail me 42 I trust you will do as you are told." I nod unable to say anything.

Since the grate war broke out and left the little metal to rebuild, humanity was forced to use outdated methods of transport. The rain came down graying the landscape outside the small window. "Can't believe that brat has me traveling with one of you disgusting things. I swear if it weren't for him I wouldn't have bothered setting foot in the compound." Agatha said peeking my interest. "What do you mean by him? The doll keeper is and has always been a female." I said making her laugh. "Oh 42 you are so naive to think that little dim wit is in charge." I didn't appreciate the response but had to restrain myself. "You see little doll the keeper is only one of the members in charge of you psychopaths. The Doll Master, Doll collector,Doll maker,Doll keeper, and the Doll braker. They are the ones pulling your strings my dear. That system however will be coming to an end soon." She said but before I could respond the carage was knocked on it's side. The sound of gun fire filled my ears. I try to brake open the door but it wasn't budging. A few moments go by and I managed to open the door, only for something to be infected in my neck. The muffled sounds of yelling and orders being given. As everything was going black I was treated to Agatha being shot. "You got what you deserved....traitor." was the last thing I said before the drug took me under.

I wake in a damp and dimly lit room tied down to a wooden chair. "Are you awak Meadow?" My sister voice came from a speaker. "I told you to stay away from me Lilly. They will kill me if they find out you are alive." I yelled out in frustration. "I told you....*sigh* I would save you and I ment it. You saved me now let me save you." She said she was to fucking innocent. This is childish of her to try and save someone like me. I am a monster dammit Lilly. "My name is not Meadow. Whoever she is she's not me. I am Doll 42 right hand to the doll keeper. I demand you let me go, so I can complete my mission. If you do that I will let you all live. It's a good offer not normally given by a doll sweetheart." I said staring at the speaker. "No your name is not Doll 42 it is Meadow. You are my older sister, and I can't let you go back to them. Not now not ever so when you can act civil we cand help you." The speaker went quiet. "Oh I'll be civil when I visit your grave." I growl glaring at the camera no response. "I hate you yes I do~. I can't wait till I kill you~." I repeat being obnoxious song laughing like a lunatic. "MEADOW KNOCK IT OFF THIS IS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD! THEY DID SOMETHING TO YOU WE CAN REVERS IT!" She screamed making me laugh before smirking at the camera, tilting my hand slightly looking as smug as I can. "Hey sweet Lilly your right I want you to help me." I said with sarcasm and I suppose she didn't like it very much."Meadow I am not letting you out until you cooperate with us." She said getting annoyed. "Good luck with that traitorous bitch. The system exists so no war needs to happen. Think about for a moment Lilly dear, since the Dolls and Sevrons took place in law; How many wars broke out? I don't believe any has since the formation..So if a few girls need to be sacrificed for the betterment of the nation, Then Lilly what is the problem? I can't find a single one but I suppose that I am a bit bias. " I said with a bit of boredom but the game continued.

Lilly pov

I watched her laugh madly for weeks but, Thats not the scary part by a long shot. The scariest part is the way Meadow looks into the camera. That bone chilling smirk with the murderous gleam in her eyes. I don't want to accept It but , Meadow might be truely gone. "Listen 42 we can help each other." I said pushing the blinking button on the panel. "Oh so its 42 now is it , Did you finally realize that I can't be saved? Did I burst your little innocent bubble?" She laughed howling threw the room. "LISTEN YOU STUPID BITCH! I JUST WANT TO SAVE PEOPLE ,AND PREVENT THE DISASTER THAT HAPPENED IN OUR VILLAGE! I don't want anyone else to feel that pain, I lost everything and everyone I ever loved." I said tears falling from my eyes. I was so hurt,and so angry that I couldn't see straight ,all I wanted was for her to snap out of this. "Lilly listed to me, because I will only say it one more time." I look at the monitor and I see the same tears in sliding down her cheeks. "You need to let me go Lilly. If I don't report back they will come for me. And if they find you alive.... not only will they kill you and everyone we hear." She starts to Trail off looking down trying to compose herself. Her head snaps back up giving me the most serious look I have ever seen. "They...will....kill....me. then everything you've worked so hard for up to this point. That little notion to stop the dolls and the government. To stop the pain and suffering that we spread, It will all be for nothing if your dead Lilly. So now dear little sister you have a choice. Let me go in this whole little regiment will be safe. Or keep me here and we all die. The ball is in your court make the right call." She didn't sound like herself she sounded so scared. Then again we've had her in there for weeks. I sigh thinking it over and realize she is right. No matter what we try they will out number us. I look over at Anthony who has worry on his face. I place my hand on his shoulder. "We have to let her go." I whispered shaking. He nods leaving me in the room. I see him man handle her on the monitors. "Anthony be easy with her!" I yelled into the microphone. "why should I be? She is a mindless drone." He said as she was making a few lewd remarks. I chuckle at them a bit watching him drag her into the garage and drive off.

Meadow pov

The one they called Anthony just started at the road. "Are you doing this for Lilly?" He asked making me laugh what a stupid question. "I love my sister so the answer is yes. Whatever it is you believe about me because I'm a doll. Its not far from the truth. I want nothing to do with them but, I have no choice in the matter." I said looking out the window. "Your wrong everyone has a choice. Those choices either have a consequence or a reward. You make the wrong choice you get a consequence. You make the right choice you got a reward. That is how the system works such is life." He said before stopping. "Meadow listen you eventually will have to choose. I just hope that you make the right choice like you forced your sister." He said leting me out by the forest edge. I nod at him before running off to the compound. Right now I am making the right choice keeping my distance from her. It may kill me on the inside but it's for her own good.
