Chapter 99

This included 2 more Rank 9 Powerhouses and multiple Rank 8 powerhouses! It was truly a shocking bloodshed. Since that story spread, no one ever dared to rob any travelling merchants anymore.

But Samuel hoped to find some more low level planes that have open portals, but that all relies on luck.

Right now he was still getting used to manipulating the new body. Samuel sat down and for the first time experienced practising.

Previously he only felt an influx of pure energy stream into his body. But this time when Samuel manipulated the clone body to sit down he felt a difficulty getting started.

But quickly Samuel felt his pores open up, absorbing the energy in the surroundings. It felt like his entire body was rapidly breathing in as a comforting power flowed out through his bones and body.

Different from his main body, Samuel could also perceive a slight discomfort however when he saw felt the energy head towards his Abdomen. Although it felt like a faint itch, Samuel quickly perceived what it was.

It was the impurities stacking up within his veins. Although minute, Samuel could definitely perceive them.

But he quickly felt an incredible force flow into his body, forming a large rotating whirlwind within his abdomen once again! But this time there was something different.

Samuel felt the blood boiling as he saw deep within his veins phantoms of Wyverns formed floating through his blood, they rapidly headed around his body before a large bump appeared on his back.

''Argh!'' Samuel opened his mouth in pain as he felt a searing feeling pierce through his spine and back.

Samuels main body opened its eyes and focused on what was happening. Out of the back of the clone a large black wing started to grow. Starting small and broken but as the clone's aura rose the wing grew longer and longer.

Before stopping at two metres in length!

''Huh why is it only one wing?'' Caterpillar Samuel opened his eyes and mumbled confusedly.

But then he realised why, due to the incomplete wyvern bloodline, the clone only inherited one wyvern wing.

Samuel flexed the wing on its back, as it flapped back and forth it produced a powerful wind that pushed back the surrounding furniture.

Immediately the clone body moved rapidly forward with a speed far beyond its rank. This was clearly a benefit brought by the single wing!

Although he couldn't fly, he could easily use it to increase his speed.

Samuels main body nodded satisfactorily before turning to return to Blue Star leaving part of his consciousness on the Clone practising.

Samuel really enjoyed the feeling of practising. It gave him a sense of satisfaction and pride.

Especially the slow but present increase in strength, as his body became reinforced with the Wyborns blood.

Caterpillar Samuel headed towards the deepest part of the castle straight towards the Pool of Spiritual Liquid.

Samuels main body never used Spiritual Liquid, because he doesn't need to practise. But now he gets to experience it.

But before that he picked up a sword, and did a few swings. As he did he felt a slight change in his body. His clone was determined as a Sword user and gained the bonus from the booster of swordsmanship.

Obviously Samuel decided on this to get the 10% Practice booster.

Caterpillar Samuel arrived at the Spiritual Liquid, and when he got close he felt Spiritual Energy infuse itself into his body slowly but surely increasing the size of the Whirlwind of energy.

Soon Samuel submerged his body into the pool of liquid, but as soon as he stepped into it he realised why Warriors can't stay in it for too long. Because the pain was immeasurable.

Like thousands of insects gnawing at his body. Like thousands of bees swallowing and stinging him from the inside. But Samuel grit his teeth and began absorbing the Energy from the liquid.

And his strength improved rapidly. Over the next three days he reached the Peak of Low Rank 1, and held a small green fruit in his hand. Naturally this is a Spiritual Fruit.

It was the only fruit in the entire treasury of the Caterpillar Swarm.

Samuel placed the fruit in his mouth and quickly chewed. The soft fruit disintegrated as soon as it touched his tongue, the comforting energy spread directly through his body, temporarily dispelling the endless pain.

But Samuel felt the pure energy pour directly towards the Whirlwind in his abdomen, the wing on his back vibrating rapidly causing small waves in the water. And Samuel felt a familiar feeling of a breakthrough.

After reaching Middle Rank 1, Samuel stepped out of the pool and returned to his room, to consolidate his realm.

The rapid progress stopped after that. The clone only broke through quickly because of Samuels previous experience and the Spiritual Liquid and fruit.

Of course the 3 Inch Spiritual root was also a contributing factor to all of this.

But he definitely couldn't break through to High Rank 1 so quickly. Now the amount of Spiritual Liquid that the clone body would need to break through has multiplied exponentially.

And there are no Spiritual Fruits to help his practice, so Samuel began to take control of the territory. He wanted to experience what it was like to be king.

So he did. For the next year Caterpillar Samuel participated in countless meetings, organisational activities, and promoted transitional Dogs of War to various positions in the kingdom.

Caterpillar Isles began to develop into a more dignified kingdom. Rather than just one city, the Plane had enough space to develop 3 cities and 12 villages.

Samuels control over the Isles reached 100%, and even production of food and coal increased massively.

Coal reached a shocking 200 Tons, and using better agricultural tools and materials brought over from Blue Star, 250,000 Tons of food were produced each year!

And Samuel formed a Mortal army with 2,000 members in it. They wore crappy traditional Iron Mediaeval Armour and were each armed with pickaxes and large spears.

This was because Samuel found another vein of Lemenocide just outside in the Ravine. So he ordered the Army to mine it. Luckily the Ravine was relatively peaceful so there were no issues with mining it.

1 ton of Lemenocide was brought out each year, which might seem small but it is the equivalent to 2,000 pounds each year!
