Chapter 53

So Samuels Dogs of War are actually quite powerful, although not 2 against 1 powerful but they are able to last against their opponents and can often kill them with enough time.

Especially SS1, his fight had reached its peak when he wrapped the black smoke around his opponent and black swords immediately sped towards the Eleflare.

The Eleflare sensed the attack but it was too late. The sharp blades seemed to cut through his tough exterior like it was paper.

Blood Immediately poured out as the eyes of the Eleflare were filled with fear. SS1 took this chance and brought down a heavy broadsword, removing its head from its body.

SS1 immediately fell to the ground in exhaustion. His Shadow Copy appeared out of nowhere and stood guard next to him as SS1 hurriedly pulled a small blue plant out of his pocket and shoved it in his mouth.

This is a Rejuvenating grass, suitable for returning energy to Warriors when they fight. Of course it's value isn't low. A single clump of this grass costs a hundred thousand Credits!

But it is a must have for all warriors on the battlefield.

Its effect was evident, SS1 was ready to fight again in under fifteen minutes! Over this time multiple Low Rank 1 Eleflares came to fight him but he joined with his copy to kill them easily.

And as soon as SS1 got his energy back he returned to the hunt! Although he targeted Low Rank 1 Eleflares he occasionally got caught up against Middle Rank ones. But everytime he either killed the enemy by luck or used his finishing move to end it.

No one could keep track of SS1, he would wrap himself in the mist and easily appear next to the Eleflares he was trying to kill.

SS1 was definitely Samuels strongest fighter right now. Even A1 with his Fighting Instinct and his long time practising isn't able to compare with SS1. A1 has to slowly wear down his opponent while SS1 is able to quickly beat them and move on!

Of course this is to be expected, SS1 is a 2 Inch Spiritual Root and has a rare Talent. A1 is only slightly better than the average Warrior.

But SS1s ranking quickly climbed the board, reaching within the top 300 Million quickly. If it wasn't for his late start Samuel was confident he could exceed A1!

And Samuel believes that SS1 can easily break into the top 200 Million after this fight. As for reaching closer to a hundred million? It's quite unlikely.

There are still many High Rank 1 Warriors participating in the battle, and even A1 is only barely stepping into the top two hundred million!

As for the rest of the dogs of War, they have no chance. They can only wander around the bottom three hundred million to five hundred million.

However Samuel also turned his attention towards the second ranking, the Organisation Ranking. He hadn't paid much attention to it originally but now it really did draw his attention.

There are far less Organisations than warriors, only around Ten Million Organisations. Samuel found his Dogs of War was ranking in the top 8 million while the Pups of War and Wolves of War only managed to reach around 9 Millionth places.

Of course this is just because the Dogs of War don't have high end combat power. Many other Rank F groups have at least a High Rank 1, if not a Low Rank 2 Warrior!

The only reason that Samuels Dogs of War were able to rank relatively high was because the number of Warriors in his Organisations are higher than the general Organisation.

Unfortunately the Dogs of War he sent out as Rogue warriors don't count as his subordinates but that is of course understandable.

In the end what matters is that Samuel will actually receive three sets of rewards! And now you might be thinking why the Top Organisations don't just monopolise the top 100 or top 10,000 or even top 1,000,000 rewards.

Well for one they don't have the manpower to occupy it, and two why would they bother? The competition on the top of the ls is incredibly tough. Even the Government can't guarantee the top position if they were to split up their Warriors.

And the number one position is definitely much more valuable than the millionth place! Samuel is confident that even if he doesn't know the first place reward it is probably more valuable than every rank below 1,000,000 added up!

Also not everyone has the same complete loyalty that Samuel has, who knows whether the full reward would be sent in to the head organisation?

Of course the Government still has a few smaller Organisations who are under their control and so do many others. It's just they can't monopolise the top rankings with them.

Otherwise things wouldn't be as peaceful as they are now. As for the idea that the War would actually end in BlueStars defeat? That had never crossed Samuels mind.

Unless it is a much stronger race that invades it is unlikely that the defending planet will lose.

The large battle continued, spells, attacks and Artifacts were sent everywhere on the battlefield, the amount of blood had flowed into a giant lake at the base of the fortress.

At this point the Warriors fighting on the ground were wading through a large puddle of blood before they could even reach the battlefield.

Somewhere deep in the fight, a Dog of War Drenched from head to toe in blood swung a Pseudo-Artifact found from who knows where towards a Low Rank 1 Eleflare in front.

The Eleflare bowed its giant head avoiding the Greatswords swing, but the Dog of War swung its leg smashing heavily against the throat of the Eleflare.

It fell back with a large thud and a clear indent in its neck. Blood fell out of the Eleflares mouth as the Dog of War pierced down with the GreatSword stabbing directly into the Eleflares brain.

Almost immediately the Dog of War had to turn around and return to battle, not having the time to appreciate his successful kill.

However some other Dogs of War are quite unlucky, A67 was locked in a heavy battle with a Low Rank 1 Warrior, but out of nowhere an incredible pressure pushed down on him and a large foot stepped on him directly.

Standing on his Bloody body, a powerful Rank 2 Eleflare trampled his corpse disrespectfully before leaping back into battle with its original opponent.

The battle raged on, blood continued to flow, arrows flew down from the remaining solid walls. However that wasn't it, the Warrior Organisations inside had begun to mobilise their stock piled resources.

Large wooden crossbows, giant metal boulders and even hot oil began to pour down from the walls. Of course these aren't typical materials, they are all spiritual resources from the Eternal Battlefield.

The boulders weighed dozens of tons or even more! Every boulder would crash down crushing Eleflares before rolling down the hill crushing friend and foe.

The crossbows fired heavy bolts repeatedly, stabbing through Eleflare's who let their guard down.
