Samuel heard a slight murmur but didn't pay attention. Instead he spread out and began to socialise. After all there are many connections to be made here.
Meanwhile, the children were taken very close to the palace.

Quickly dozens of results were called out and then recorded on the tablets. The children weren't told whether they were accepted or not however.
Time passed quickly, there were close to three thousand children in this area alone, so it took a little while to go through them all.
A majority of the children had no special physiques and only typical high Spiritual Roots, while some were just incredibly weak in every way.

A small boy no more than three was sitting on the altar. A look of appreciation appeared on the middle-aged man's face when he saw the boy walking away.
The medicinal Mixture Physique is a powerful Middle-Level Physique! It allows you to take Medicinal Pills with 1% of the sequelae! Basically allowing you to stack up your strength unlimitedly with pills.
However this Physique is quite expensive to raise. But it is nothing for the Government.
Connor and Macy's physiques also got a slight look of appreciation from the examiners, but not the middle-aged man.
After all, even if their Physiques are auxiliary and kinda useful, they aren't valuable in the eyes of the middle-aged man.

After the testing ended, the middle-aged man held his tablet and began to read out names.

After close to five hundred names were read out, Connor and Macy were both selected!

The remaining two thousand children were disappointed, but they could only sigh for their poor talents.

Task: Read all the books contained within the first floor of the palace Library and compose them into a more precise and detailed book. If completed you will be promoted to an official scholar under the Young Miss.
As a Scholar you will receive three recommendation spots for handymen, and a salary of 100 Spiritual Crystals Monthly. Furthermore you will have unlimited access to the first floor of the palace library.
Connor looked at this task and smiled happily. This isn't bad at all! Extremely suitable for his Physique.
However he looked towards his sister, wanting to know what her task might be.
But when he saw Macy's happy face, he could tell it might not be too difficult.
Name: Macy Lanford
Task: Socialise with over ten thousand warriors, and convince at least 100 of them to follow you directly. If completed you will be promoted to an official envoy under the Young Miss.
As an Envoy, you will receive five recommendation spots for handymen and a salary of 150 Spiritual Crystals monthly. Furthermore you have permission to recruit warriors under your own control. However it has to be ensured they are also loyal to the young miss.
In comparison, Macy's task is simply easy!
Not to mention her physique involves socialising, but just recruiting 100 warriors is nothing! And the treatment of an Envoy is even higher than that of a Scholar under Viviana!
