As Samuel expected, as the battle moved on the first tentacle came crashing down to the ground. In its place Lily was floating holding a large icicle doused with green blood melting it like acid.

Then the second fell.

Then the third.

Before slowly but surely, through constant cutting and slashing all the tentacles fell to the ground depressingly.

Samuel motioned to the Special Summons waiting in the air.

And instantly SS1 took action. A faint black mist covered Pierce before SS1 appeared slashing a knife towards his neck.

The wounded Pierce couldn't compete with SS1, his Top of the line Lower-Level Physique almost bridging the gap with a weak Middle-Level Physique.

'Pssh'

A squashing sound came out as the knife passed through Pierce's throat.

His body fell lifelessly onto the ground as everyone around sighed in relief.

At the same time Samuel in the air received a prompt.

Samuel checked the number count and smiled. Two summons were gained from killing the Abyss Creatures while one was from killing Pierce.

Suddenly three glowing lights appeared in front of Samuel. The lights flashed various colours before stopping golden, like three holy lights descending on earth a faint gold spread far and wide.

The light slowly dissipated, revealing three men with tanned skin. All three men dressed in Buddhist robes with a wooden set of buddhist beads in their palms. They had bald heads and a sense of dignity around them.

But they bowed nonetheless.

''Greetings master''

Samuel heard the greeting and looked towards the three almost identical figures.

Samuels thought curiously. He heard a lot about this religion while on Earth. From his understanding it is to strive for Nirvana and Enlightenment, he has no real opinion on it.

But he now has three Buddhist Believers! And their talents are quite powerful.

From what he understands, the more people that believe in their buddhist teachings, the quicker they practice and the stronger they are.

And the Elder Brother has the ability to set 18 people that will always remain one Small Rank Below him!

And the Eldest Brother is a potential Rank 4 Warrior. That means a potential 18 Middle Rank 4 Warriors if he manages to practise that strong.
