Lily flew forward against the surprisingly overwhelming strength. Her body flew through the air at a rapid speed as Joshua flung and elbow towards her face.
With a sickening crunch Lily felt a hard hit on her face. Blood poured from her shattered nose as she released the whip and flew backwards as the other Warriors finally entered the battle.
''Dam bastard.''
Lily clutched her face as blood continued to pour. Her eyes are not leaving the battlefield in front of her.
Helplessly she could only raise her fists and dive back in.
Flashing lights continued to appear. Joshua was far more powerful than they expected.
His dragon scales were impenetrable, the axe and the knuckle dusters couldn't even harm it!
Suddenly his eyes glowed yellow with black slits as pupils.
Lily who had appeared behind him felt palpitations of fear. But her fist was closing in on Joshua's neck.
If it landed, it would undoubtedly injure him severely.
But just an inch before it landed, Joshua who was distracted by the two Antiques in front of him had a mocking leer on his face.
His eyes glowed once again as his body vanished, reappearing right beside Lily. His long claws immediately stabbed into her waist, drawing out streams of blood as he clutched a pulsating Kidney.
''AGH!'' Lily cried out in pain as she felt her organs ripped away from her.
With anger in her eyes one hand grasped Joshua by the arm, and the other flew violence towards his face.
Just as he was about to retreat, her grip on his arm strengthened, using all of her remaining strength to hold him still.
Lily's hand continued to move, sticking out two fingers before her eyes. Her sharp nails pierced deep into the mocking yellow eyes on Joshua's face.
''Damn it!'' Joshua roared in pain, two terrifying fangs popped out of his mouth and he slammed down a fist causing Lily to plummet towards the ground.
But before he could continue the attack the three other Warriors flew towards him, taking advantage of his injured state to inflict heavy wounds.
At the same time, Lily who was close to the ground was suddenly caught by a black figure who dissipated into the air.
Samuel stood in the distance, his hands reached out gently touching the face of his daughter. A green stream of energy flowed out from the Lily Pads within his Abdomen.
Her colour returned and there was no chance of death, but Samuel couldn't help but sigh when he saw the injuries within her body.
''It seems like there will be no chance at reaching Rank 4 for a long time if ever!''
Lily was originally a 4 Inch Spiritual Root, but having your organs literally ripped out of you, even if it is a slightly irrelevant one, severely damaged her potential.
She would be able to reach High Rank 3 at most, and then spend decades attempting to recover the injuries.
But Samuel nodded, this taught her a good lesson. And the rest of his descendants!
Although it is a harsh thing to do, he needed to know how strong the Genius' he would be competing against.
Samuels opponents mostly consisted of Ordinary people at the same Rank, but this man actually fought against four people above his Rank at the same time and still nearly disabled one!
Even Samuel isn't confident to fight over one Big Realm before his Physique is fully developed!
His eyes flicked back to the battle.
After having his eyes torn out by Lily, the genius was slowly losing under the attack of three Rank 3 Warriors.
His arm was separated from his body as half of his face was indented by a golden set of knuckle dusters.
Suddenly the Middle Aged head reappeared behind him and a sword swung out gently. The final scene was a head floating into the air.
At the same time, the Rest of the Citadel members were also killed one by one.
Samuel saw as one of the members mutated into a warrior covered with boulders and his defence skyrocketed.
Another glowed red as he burnt his vitality, experiencing a sudden burst of power.
But despite being geniuses comparable to Samuels Special Summons, their boundary is to barely be able to compete against people one small level above them.
Under the combined forces of the various organisations heads and warriors they were slowly outnumbered and killed.
''A generation of geniuses dying just like this. It really is a pity.''
Dean appeared beside Samuel. Looking at the injured Lily and didn't show any pity. Only a slight thoughtfulness.
''I didn't expect you had tried to recruit them before.''
Samuel kept his eyes on the battlefield while talking to Dean.
''It seems you found out. I still underestimate your organisations influence on this city I suppose.''
Dean didn't seem panicked.
In fact the SeaLife Organisation had reached out multiple times to the members of the Citadel, offering various treasures and positions to try and hire them.
It isn't surprising that Samuel knew about this, regardless of how secret it was, his warriors spread across the city definitely heard about it.
''Yes we attempted to recruit them. Geniuses like this aren't easy to come by after all. If we managed to hire them we might have the chance to become a Rank C organisation.''
Dean admitted it openly. And honestly Samuel didn't blame him.
The thought of recruiting them had crossed his mind. But after knowing they rejected the government and the SeaLife Organisation he didn't even bother.
''Well it's time to split the loot I suppose.''
Samuel heard Dean speak and nodded as he began to float towards the Compound together with everyone else.
However unbeknownst to all of the participants of this battle, within the compound a man who was previously laying leisurely in bed is panicking.
''Damn it?! They actually brought so many people to deal with me?''
Joshua's ontology was shocked right now. His SockPuppets had been sweeping the City for three year now and there were no opponents.
Especially since he created the best SockPuppet yet, using millions of credits and thousands of Spiritual Crystals worth of resources, and more importantly a drop of Dragon Blood he found in the Eternal Battlefield!
But now, after disabling one girl it was taken down!
