Chapter 111

If Samuel didn't know that Elves are a legendary race on the Eternal Battlefield he would've thought they were pure blooded elves!

But now this beautiful race had faces full of murder. Samuel even saw an army of around twenty thousand mortals behind the warriors!

''Human Warriors, you shouldn't be here! We are the vassals of the Elves. We pay tribute every year, if you take over they will eliminate you!''

The head of the Eltorns immediately threatened.

He had to admit he was quite terrified of this army that attacked. As for his threat? It's purely an empty threat.

Yes the Eltorns pay tribute to the Elves but that is just in return for a drop of Water of Life each year. If they were invaded the Elves would definitely do nothing.

After all there are countless Low Level Planes, and wars occur on them every day. Samuel is even confident that other Rank E and D Organisations have tried to take over Planes before.

And even if they can't take them over, they are definitely pillaged and looted. Especially for organisations that have farms, they often take slaves and workers from pillaged races.

But at the same time, these Low Level races aren't innocent. Samuel could see some humans working as slaves deep within mines.

And on the Caterpillar Isles, Samuel saw many beautiful slaves who where used as sexual partners for the wealthy and powerful.

It's the way of life here. Strong eats the weak. And the weak eat the weaker to become strong!

Of course Samuel wouldn't listen to the threats.

With an indifferent face he stood watching his commanders shout and argue with the Eltorns.

Then the war started. Spears fell between the cracks in the shields of the IronBlood Soldiers. While the archers used the separation formation to prevent the Eltorns arrows from killing them all.

Blood splashed immediately as the stupid beasts leading the charge ran head first into the spears.

But unlike the Swarm who also ran stupidly, many of these beasts where strong, and ferocious.

Samuel saw a large bear pierce its hand on the end of the spear, yanking it away from the Dog of War.

The forceful pull forward toppled the Dog of War over the shield wall, only to be greeted by a bloody paw popping his skull like a watermelon.

However not even a minute later, a captain's sword swung down beheading both the bear and the handler.

The battle raged on, slowly the shield war was useless. So the Dogs of War dropped their shields directly and pulled out their swords and skirmishes.

The arrows still rained down, but suddenly at the rear of the Eltorns, a black fog had unknowingly shrouded dozens of archers.

SS1's mocking face appeared in the mist, as he pulled out a small dagger and easily slit the throat of the nearest archer before disappearing once again into the mist.

SS2 danced beautifully between the elves, armed with a rapier as she lightly sliced throats and heads of the passing Eltorns.

Occasionally a stronger opponent would appear, but a flash of light would flash in front of their eyes as a small cut would appear on their throat.

Samuel noticed the Dog of War who was summoned with the Bull Bloodline was rampaging in the mess. Surprisingly he had been promoted to Middle Rank 1, with a high chance of becoming High Rank 1.

However now he was tackling two Middle Rank 1 opponents on his own and winning!

But this wasn't always the case. Samuel saw a youthful looking Eltorn brandishing a heavy spear, different from the rest of the light swords.

However despite only being a Low Rank 1 Eltorn, he would kill a Dog of War with every couple of hits. Piercing them directly through the stomach, or head.

Older warriors in the Eltorn tribe also showed their brilliance, a broken back old man wobbled on his crutches, however when a Dog of War got close, his wooden crutch would flow past piercing their eyes.

Or an old lady with a cooking knife showed extraordinary strength and cut the heads off of a passing soldier.

The battle was extremely close, however neither side's High Rank 1 Warriors have taken action.

Well of course SS1 and SS2 have, but there are still the five commanders who face off against two old men and a large llama.

Immediately they started fighting. The Old Men had been in the realm for hundreds if not thousands of years. Their combat experience was incredible.

Unfortunately as leaders, they lacked pure fighting tactics. With two on one, they were quickly losing.

But the battle wasn't quick. Three days of heavy fighting happened, it would've been quicker but after a day in, 20,000 Mortals soldiers stepped in attacking the IronBlood Legion.

Although they were slain quickly, it gave the Eltorns Warriors time to recover, putting the IronBlood Legion in a bad situation.

If it hadn't been for one of the High Rank 1 Elves to die, and freeing up two High Rank 1 Commanders, the army might've suffered a lot of losses.

Finally after ceaseless fighting, and oceans of blood. All that was left was an old man, bleeding from a severed arm.

''Ah, I really didn't want to do this.'' He spoke as he shook his head. A ring on his hand shone and a small vial appeared in his hand.

''You won't recognise this, but it is the Water of Life. We pay tribute to elves for this every year. However you will now experience why we always keep a bottle ready.'' A maniacal smile appeared on his face.

His hand tilted, popping the lid off of the vial and pouring the liquid onto the ground.

As soon as it touched the ground, Samuel saw it immediately sink deep within as small roots appeared sucking in the essence.

Suddenly the ground rumbled and the entire land shook. Hundreds of houses within the Eltorns territory crashed to the ground causing many casualties.

But Samuel wasn't focused on that. Instead he saw a giant tree in the center, with a large castle built at its base.

However as Samuel saw the dense energy contained in the water of life, flow into the roots of the tree. Two large oak hatches seemed to have opened. Revealed beady yet intimidating eyes.

Suddenly the tree shook, shocking the surroundings. Countless layers of bark peeled off and fell to the ground
