"Oh, Aeri, you're okay now?"

"Hi, dr. Jihye. I am," her tone was dry, but the doctor didn't seem to notice.

The doctor's eyes scanned the room and stopped on Tae-tae. "Hey, kid, I wanted to bring this to you."

[Okay, I can get used to this. Just need to act cute.] She offered him a lollipop and he accepted. "Thank you, dr. Jihye." He gave her his best heart-melting smile and she fell more in love with the kid.

"Aww, you're so cute. Jiah, you're an amazing woman, for being able to raise this little boy alone so well. You have all my respect. Also, Aeri, you are an amazing sister for moving with her just to help her raise your nephew."

[I have to hold it together. I can't kill my sister right now. I can pass through this. For Tae-tae, I'll do this for my son. I'll kill Jiah later!] Aeri, who also had amazing acting skills, put on her lips the most lovely smile she had and looked at her sister with eyes full of love. "Thank you, doctor. My sister is really an amazing woman. Leaving everything behind, alone, pregnant, and dedicating all her life to raising Tae-tae. She's a lovely mother, too. And I'm extremely proud of her."

The doctor held Aeri's hand and smiled at her. "I wish all the sisters in the world were like you. You also have my respect. And don't worry I'll take good care of your parents."

To that, Aeri smiled genuinely. "And thank you for that."

Dr. Jihye nodded, and took a good look at them again, noticing something she didn't before. "Kid, you look a lot like your aunt."

[Of course, he does. He's my son, dumbass!]

Tae-tae held the urge to swallow, but put a smile on and nodded. "That's an amazing compliment. My aunt is gorgeous."

She smiled at him, agreeing with his words. "She is. Anyway, I have to go now. And don't worry girls, we'll take care of your family. Everything's going to be okay at the end."

And after that she was out of the room, leaving Aeri pissed. Tae-tae noticing that, held his mom's hand and smile at her, a smile he knew she couldn't resist. "You have amazing acting skills, mommy. Has anyone said this to you before? Why don't you act in one of your movies?" She blushed uncomfortably and avoided their eyes.

"I'm not good enough for that. But I'm amazing at ordering people around on the set and writing the stories of dramas. Anyway, thank you, baby. Your opinion means a lot to me."

[What's up with sis's reaction?] "What are you saying? You are indeed good, Aeri."

She glared at her sister, making her shut up. "Let's change the subject. I'm still pissed at you, Jiah."

[Why is mommy acting like this? Did someone treat her badly and discourage her from acting? This is not my mom, she's not like this. She isn't this insecure.] "Come on, mommy. Let's go home. Let aunt go today. If not for her, then do it for me!" She sighed but agreed, held his hand, and got out of the room before she could change her mind.

Seojin had taken his parents to their villa and when he was heading to his home, he realized he had forgotten his phone in the hospital, so he got back. Praying that Minjee, Sunghae, or Jihye had found it and kept it with them for him. After all, he needed that phone.

When he arrived at the hospital, he parked his car, and that was when he saw her. She was awakened this time, but still looking pale. He froze inside the car, looking at the girl he's been trying to find since last year.

She was so gorgeous to the point it hurt. And she hadn't changed so much from when he last saw her, she was still youthful and with an angelic beauty. Even more attractive than before.

But what surprised him was the kid holding her hand. He seemed to be 7 or 8 years old. Although he couldn't see his features that vividly, the kid clearly had gorgeous visuals and red hair as well. [Could this kid be her son?] He asked himself.

They got into a black tesla and left the parking lot.

[It can't be her son, right? After all, for him to be her son, big as how he is now, she would have to have him right after she left South Korea!] He told himself, but then he gulped. [And if that was the case, there was a chance that the kid's MY son. That's insane. It must be Jiah's. Yeah, he's probably Jiah's!]

He entered the hospital and went to where Sunghae was supposed to be. But when he opened the door, he saw his best friend suspiciously close to Choi Jiah, in a very personal way. Almost kissing! "What the hell are you two doing?" He exclaimed, surprising both of them. "We're in the hospital!" He pointed to her brother in the bed. "And your brother is right there!"

They got startled by him and took seven steps back from each other in the same instant. "What are you doing here? I told you not to come!"

Seojin rolled his eyes. "This is still a hospital, and I'm not here for any of your family members!" He turned his attention to his cousin. "I forgot my phone here, do you have it?"

His best friend was still trying to compose himself. "No. You should check it with Jihye or Minjee!"

"Alright!" But then he stopped and stared at Jiah, who was red like a tomato. "Who was that little red-haired kid with Aeri? Is he her son? How old is he?"

Jiah froze for a second hearing his question, but then she clenched her jaw. "He's eight and it's my child! Don't you dare to go near him, or I'll castrate you, asshole!"

"So, he isn't Aeri's son, right?" He asked again, to be sure.

"Why are you insisting on this?" Jiah exclaimed annoyed, but that didn't phase him.

"Because with that age, he could be my son," the Choi girl turned pale. "I just asked to be sure. I imagined it was yours, but I had to know. After all, things would get quite troublesome if he was my son and she hid that from me, right?" He rolled his shoulders. "But I don't think she would do that."

Sunghae stared at Jiah and she stared at him, Seojin didn't understand and imagined they had gone back to flirting. So, he left. Going after one of the two doctor to see if they had his phone.
