Chapter 5
Frederick Claw ~
I screamed in excruciating pain as the enchanted arrows met my skin. The enchantment done on the arrows prevented me from healing all around that area. They were so stuck into me that merely touching them caused unimaginable pain.
Still struggling in pains to get rid of those arrows, the supreme lycan came and pushed them further into my body and I was helpless to stop him.
He pushed them so deep that only a key sized length remained on the outside. Then in a flash, he pulled two out of me. I yelled as blood flowed out of those particular points without any obstruction.
"I will make you feel pain worse than you can ever imagine!" the supreme lycan said gripping my head with his gigantic palm.
"… Are. You. Sure. About... That??" I said and to my surprise Sofia, my wife with the aid of a warlock used their powers to constrain and immobilize him on the air.
"Freddy!!" exclaimed Sofia calling me by the pet name she had since given me.
I was so weak that I fell plainly to the ground. The last arrow in my body wasn't failing in bringing me perpetual agony and the former two who had let a trail of blood down my back still prohibited my healing.
"… I can't hold him for much longer!" said the warlock trying to keep steady, the lycan in the air. "Your majesty. Sofia tell him before I lose control of this fiend." he added.
"Ut intra nos." said Sofia and a purple colored smoke surrounded us both.
"Lie still! This is going to hurt very bad." said Sofia pulling the last arrow out of my body.
"Arrghhh!" I screeched in pain.
"Sana." I heard her cast a spell and my wounds got rapidly healed, though I felt some little pain from those spots.
"I need to get back there." I said noticing that she had teleported us to a hidden chamber in the coven using the spell that brought the purple gas. "Those men and women fighting out there won't last long without my strength." I added making an attempt to leave which was made unsuccessful by Sofia.
"No way! They won't last long with an entire multitude of mutant lycans on their necks and who says that you will?" she asked.
"The battle cannot be won by us. Those lycans are by far, too powerful. It is either you go out there and die which of course isn't happening or you stay in here and make their deaths to not be in vain." "Besides, I have something urgent to tell you."
"Can't that..."
"Alessia is gone!" Sofia said dropping the bomb hard.
"That can't be! It can't! Tell me that you are lying!!! Tell me that my only sister isn't dead!!" I said as tears hurriedly gathered in my eyes. "Sofia???"
I was trying my best to be strong but I couldn't. I became weak at the knees.
"Frederick, I'm so sorry. We lost her after the delivery." said Sofia.
That statement hit me harder than the first. I was busy feeling so mournful that I failed to realize that Alessia was with a child.
"She had her baby?" I asked to confirm the hearings of my ears.
"She had a girl and right now, we have to get her out of here. That child was the one reason why whosoever locked up Alessia all these while didn't slit her throat." said Sofia turning around as she lead me out of the chamber into the underground hallway.
"The Prophecy!"
"Sofia, there's no place where that child wouldn't be in danger or a threat to this world. She has the blood of three of the most powerful supernatural creatures known. She has the blood and powers of a vampyre, mutant lycan and a witch in her." "She is a trybrid for crying out loud!" I said eyes pointed at Sofia.
"I know that! Trybrids consisting of the powers of the mutant lycans and witches are impossible to come by. They are rarer than a phoenix without flames. Chances of seeing one is one in a zillion so she's extremely special." Sofia said making a halt at the healing chambers.
"The only way to save her is to send her to somewhere far away. Somewhere she can grow and live happily without attacks from lycans and the mastermind behind their attack after her abilities and without knowing her true past, at least until she is of age."
"Frederick, she has to be sent to the HUMAN WORLD!"
~
"You pipe-sized rodent!" exclaimed the supreme lycan as the warlock's limited grip on him went down. "I'm going to make you pay for doing that but first…" said the supreme lycan holding the warlock by the neck and lifting him off the ground. "You are going to tell me what great and promising news that you had for your king which made you bring his witch of a wife here!?!" he added with decisiveness in his tone.
"Go! Fuck! Yourself! I am not telling you nothing! Do you worst!" the young warlock said returning the same firmness in his tone.
"Well then, I better get started! I was hoping to get you cooperate but well, I guess we would reach that juncture soon enough!" the lycan said sinking his claws into the chest of the warlock and picked on his beating heart.
"Not! Telling!!" The warlock continued to resist the torture that the supreme lycan was putting him under.
"I was afraid that you were going to say that!" the lycan said letting go of the warlock's organ and placing him on the grass positioned on his knees. "You may be loyal but for your information, I WAS TRAINED TO BREAK LOYAL HEARTS. You may seem fearless but my master is THE MAKER OF FEAR."
The supreme lycan sent his giant hands into the eyeballs of the warlock and pulled them out of their sockets. He opened the warlock's mouth and shoved the blood-stained organs into his mouth. The sockets spilled blood uncontrollably and the warlock resulting from the organs in his mouth, couldn't express the pain he was under through a screech.
"Fool!!!" insulted the lycan as he dug his gigantic claws into the skull of the warlock and plucked out his brain. He crushed it with his very hands while reciting some words.
"Gather round men! Break down those gates! The trybrid child has been born." "You should've complied. You guys aren't the only creatures capable of a little magic you know'." the lycan added sparing a glance at the warlock's cadaver.
