Do I Have To Be The Villain?

'Do I Have To be The Villain?' Lei, now Zhao Laohu, couldn't help but ask himself that question on numerous occasions. Cultivation and the pursuit of Martial Arts are the only ways of getting stronger in the World he was Reincarnated in. After taking over the Young Master's body, a new life begins, completely different from the previous one. Fortunately for him, the System given to him by the Goddess allows him to grow stronger and purchase powerful techniques by expending Villain Points gained by performing evil acts. Unfortunately for him, the System shackles his growth when it comes to the traditional ways of Cultivation and training. 'Enemies are coming for me because of what this Zhao Laohu did in the past. I need to grow stronger to survive but... To do this, I must rely on the System and commit evil... Which will, in turn, give birth to more enemies aiming for my neck.' Indeed, a conundrum. And that's without even counting the Hero destined to end the Villain's life. 'Tsk. Once again, I can't help but ask myself...' Do I Have To Be The Villain? Watch a master manipulator, actor, and liar do everything in his power and use everything he can as tools, whether foes or allies, for the sake of his goal.

They're Not Supposed To Mix!

The Young Master felt there was an issue he needed to find a solution to.

The Villain Points and his System are what sets him apart from the rest.

Threatening Rika and Jun during the banquet had failed to lead any Points, which was expected, but still disappointing.

It was clear that his actions needed to have a real impact for Villain Points to start raining.

The most obvious solution? Kill everyone in sight.

But unfortunately, this wasn't a world made of villages scattered and separated by forests or mountains. It was one large city where everything was connected, where rumors and news spread fast.

'I need the things I do for the Points to stay hidden... Am I going to have to clean up afterwards like some kind of psycho?' The Young Master tilted his head to the side. 'I might have to, except if I find a good spot. The people I kill also matter. I'm sure that killing an innocent person yields more Villain Points than someone out to take my life but... That's a bit too villainous. There are all kinds of Villains. Therefore...' He nodded. 'I need to figure out what kind of Villain suits me. What kind I want to be. That'll be key to dealing with the Hero.'

"Lost in thought, Young Master?" Rika asked before taking a bite from the meat skewers that the Young Master had bought for her.

"Weren't you more into duck?"

"Well... That depends on the situation." She answered while blushing lightly, before taking another bite.

"Tasty..." Jun muttered before biting into her chicken skewers.

"Did you not eat earlier?" The Young Master asked.

"Well... We were forbidden from eating too much."

"Mm... I couldn't tell." The Young Master whispered to himself.

He watched the girls closely.

'That's also why Feng was too drunk to do a thing... He kept drinking and drinking while you acted like you were drinking, huh? That's useful.' Lei noted to himself.

"Sooo... Are we really going there?" Rika asked.

The question and the answer did peek Jun's curiosity. She listened quietly, awaiting the answer.

"Sure."

'That's it? No explanation?'

They walked for thirty minutes through the city, its markets, and its streets, before getting there.

The lights were different. Lei assumed it was because the lanterns used here were covered with colorful pieces of fabric, acting as filters.

"The red light district, huh?" The Young Master looked around. "So many beauties walking around."

"..."

"So this is your turf, huh?"

"Hahaha..." Both Jun and Rika laughed, slightly embarrassed. "I guess so?"

The Young Master walked confidently, and many women waved and motioned to come closer.

"Wouldn't it be an issue if you're recognized?" Jun asked timidly.

"It would be."

"Then...?"

"I'd kill them." The Young Master answered with a chuckle.

"Haha! Just for recognizing you?" Rika laughed.

It was a joke.

And it would keep being a joke.

Unless the situation arises.

'Shouldn't be a problem though...'

Because his clothing wasn't that of a Young Master, or that of a Martial Artist part of any particular Sect, they treated him like any other Martial Artist. Like a Solo Practitioner, or a Rogue Cultivator.

"Haha!" The Young Master chuckled as he moved through a crowd. Countless hands caressed his arms and back in an attempt to get his attention. "This is nice."

'Why is it so embarrassing...?!' Rika was incredibly annoyed. 'Usually, I'm one of those hands desperately reaching. But now... I'm escorting a Young Master! And he's dressed so as not to let people know... Wait, we're the only ones who know that this person is Zhao Laohu! This is our secret! A secret excursion with a Young Master!' Her eyes glittered. 'That's so hot!'

The heat, the beauty, the noises... Lei truly enjoyed the atmosphere. With so many hands gently caressing and clinging onto him, he couldn't help but... To keep things tasteful, let's just say that the Young Master felt his pants tighten around his waist.

'No one knows Zhao here! Or rather, they don't recognize his face right away. I bet he never went outside without wearing his -Young Master- clothes. This sure is nice, after spending all that time with Feng, Sun, and the Disciples. Being an unknown person in a crowd of women fighting for your attention... This is the best-'

"Ha? Isn't that the Young Master?"

"Oh, you're right. Young Master!" They waved.

"We pay our respects to-"

"Shut the fuck up!" The Young Master shouted as he moved closer and pulled one of them from the wrist into a dark alley.

Rika and Jun chuckled, and did the same with the other two.

"Young Master?"

'And this was supposed to be an incognito sightseeing. Fuck...'

The Young Master massaged his eyes, and the Disciples fell to their knees. They had done something wrong, but they couldn't tell what.

"Oh!" Fui shouted out. "The two of you are-"

"Holy shit. Shut up." Lei interrupted.

"What is it, Young Master?"

"I'm glad to see that you remain true to your tastes. Blondes and brunettes till the end, isn't that right, Young Master?"

"Oh! Feng said something about that too."

"Oh for fuck's sake. Don't add fuel to it, Rika."

"Rika, huh? I didn't think the Young Master was the type to care about a woman's name."

"The Young Master sure is amazing."

"The Young Master sure is." The Disciples nodded in unison.

"He even told me that he liked my name." Rika said, nodding.

"Huh?"

"Mine too! The Young Master likes my name too!"

"Don't get in on it too, Jun!"

"Wow. The Young Master sure is..."

'Should I just kill them? I should just kill them. Get new pieces. Everything is messed up now.' The Young Master shook his head in despair. 'The two groups weren't supposed to mix!' He nodded silently. 'Yes, kill them all! In this dark alley... Get rid of them. A clean and new slate! If they start talking to them, then news about Ui Feng will... Fuck. Fuck! I should just...'

Once again, the Disciples had appeared, ridding the Young Master of the tightening of his pants around his waist.
