Go Wild For My Sake!

'Sons of bitches!! They tricked us... At the very least, I'll take something from them!'

The Young Master walked towards the road where the carriage lay.

'If he hadn't believed me, would I have still gotten points for that? In that case, it doesn't only depend on my actions... I guess the result is always a part of it. Like -Killing-. Attempted murder wouldn't... Or would I just get fewer Points? Wait... It's not murder, I'm defending myself. But I did follow them... Tsk. I'm just getting rid of problems before they come back! Nothing villainous about that!'

Lei exited the forest and,

"ARGHHH!!"

"At the very least, I'll kill their woman!!"

He was met with one of the assassins standing just over the edge of the carriage.

"ARGHH!!"

His hand gripping a fistful of Lyu's hair with such strength that it could tear at any moment. Tears were going down her face as the pain made her scream through her clenched teeth.

The Young Master, still hidden by the countless trees of the forest, stared for a bit, before running forward and activating the newly acquired Technique!

Wind Tiger's Footwork-

[Your Movement Speed increases by 30%!]

The Young Master took a detour.

It was obvious that the assassin didn't care about Lyu. He simply wanted to salvage his honor, by, at the very least, taking something from those who would take his life.

The detour allowed him to remain outside of the assassin's field of vision, but also to set up...

'It seriously burns through Endurance!'

This was Lei's third time using the Technique. The first was to catch up to some of the assassins. The second was to circle around the last one. Or rather, the one Lei thought to be the last.

The fact that they had run away so quickly, after suffering only one loss, and that this one had come back...

'The attack isn't over, huh?'

Lei ran as fast as he could.

The Servant closed her eyes shut after she was forcefully yanked away from the perceived safety of the carriage.

Screaming, crying, pleading... None of these help when confronted by such brutes. On the contrary, they usually only made things worse. Why plead for help anyways? Who would help a Servant? What for?

In 99% of cases, Lyu would be right to think this way.

But this was one of those 1% cases. Because the Young Master was different?

No, because she was useful.

The Young Master, whom neither the assassin nor Lyu had seen yet, suddenly slowed down.

He was still running, but the timing had to be just right!

Crack-

The Young Master's foot stepped on a fallen branch, immediately alerting the assassin!

The former sped up once again! Now was the time!

The assassin raised his weapon and swung!

Lyu pulled her arms closer to her chest. No matter how many times she had hit the man, she couldn't make him budge. His blade was now approaching!

As the sword was brought down towards her,

BAM-

Lyu's eyes were jolted open by the sting and force.

The Young Master's shoulder had suddenly slammed against her own, launching her a dozen meters away!

She froze as her butt hit the ground.

The Young Master was bleeding... A Young Master had protected her?!

'You love her, don't you? Of course, you do. Since the two of you are the same.'

The blade's tip had connected with the Young Master's wrist, but it had barely made a dent! A tear of blood went down the Young Master's arm.

The capabilities of his "Silver Physique" were something that Lei had experimented with during his pursuit of the, now-fallen, assassins.

'I am to you... What Ui Feng is to her.'

The assassin was shocked to see skin capable of resisting an attack of his blade. But no matter! He swings again!

The Young Master plunged, dodging the horizontal swing.

His palms landed on the ground, and before the rest of his body could, he extended his legs!

The soles of his feet connected with the assassin's stomach, sending him away!

Lyu pulled back as the assassin was thrown in her direction.

But before that assassin's body could reach her it was suddenly grabbed.

Next to her, was the only one in the area who could pose a threat to the Young Master, and the one who loved her most in the whole world.

"NO... N-"

CRNCH-

With one bite, the assassin's head and shoulders were stolen. His arms, having lost their point of connection with the rest of the body, tumbled to the ground, making Lyu shiver silently.

'A body that can move this way sure is nice...'

The Young Master nodded to himself as he stood up and dusted himself off.

"Are you okay, Lyu?" He asked after walking closer and extending his right hand to the Servant.

"Young Master..." She was blushing, but it wasn't clear whether that was from the fear, or the crying. "Thank you... Young Master."

Lei scratched his head with his left hand.

"Well, take my hand. Don't leave me hanging."

'Hanging...?'

The Servant's shaking hand moved towards the Young Master's. Her hand froze, noticing that the Young Master's hand was covered by blood. It was his blood. Blood he had lost to protect her. The Young Master had bled for her.

She took his hand.

Meanwhile, Lei's thoughts and gaze were stuck to the Silver-Grade Beast Borara.

The Beast's eyes, too, were stuck on him.

'Well well, look at us...'

It stared, while devouring the assassin's body and tearing his body apart. Hatred or hunger? A bit of both.

'Working together. To protect her.'

The Young Master helped the Servant to her feet and,

"Young Master!!"

"Young Master! More are coming!"

From the forest, a dozen assassins appeared.

From the corner of his eyes, Lei noticed two dozen more. They were further down the dirt road, and were quickly approaching.

"Get inside the carriage. In the back." Lei ordered as he jumped beyond the carriage, above the space separating the Silver-grade Beast from the platform.

"Yes... Young Master."

Before she could even step away,

"Kill her! Kill them all! We'll take everything they have!"

Only then did she notice the assassins!

She trembled and,

ROARRRR-

The once captive Silver-Grade bear, now freed from the oppressive chains, stood on its back legs, showcasing its immense size, its eyes burning with fury!

'Borara's...! When were the reins cut??' A confused Lyu asked herself, as the Beast positioned itself in front of her.

'That's right, go wild, my terrifying Beast. Go wild for my sake...' The Young Master pulled his blade out of an assassin's stomach, before turning back slightly. 'And hers!'

ROAARRR-

The Taming of the Silver-Grade Beast begins!
